... eastern end of town - the opposite end to Zlatni Rat. You have to walk along the narrow public footpath around the restaurant (it feels like you are walking through it). Perhaps the fact that we could walk to this beach from our apartment in 2 minutes made it more appealing ... more

i have found great apartment with great brand new pool in Bol. That is the only pool that i found in all town. I found it here at www.zlatnirat-bol.com apartments gospojica. Owner was very friendly and help full ... more

... friendly. Hvar is much more the backpacker party set, far less a family destination in my opinion. If you are visiting in high season I'd recommend an apartment a little away from the town centre, say 10 minutes walk, to make sure you aren't distrubed by any noise ... more

We stayed at the Villa Sany apartments this year. They're less than 10 minutes walk from the harbour. Great view from the balcony, well equipped kitchen, good sized rooms and lovely owners, Nives and Denis. They also run the Nautic Centre in Bol. http://www.nautic-center-bol.com/ ... more
