... and we stayed in an apt looking over the marina, had balcony to sit on and have wine in the evenings, restaurants were steps away and the food was so good!! We had a rental car and drove the Adriatic coast to Dubrovnik. we would return to Rovinj/Istria definitely ... more

The only place to be in Rovinj is the old town within walking distance of the beach (pebbles no sand), and all the restaurants. Try and find an apartment with a terrace (tough ask). ... more
