Huntington or Newport

We've been looking at condo rentals in Newport and Huntington. We prefer Newport but the Huntington rental is much cheaper. Can anyone give their opinions? I know the Newport Laguna area but not that familiar with Huntington. We will have teenage son with us. ... more

Have a look at www.vrbo.com for rentals all along the OC coastline. The Huntington Pier area and the downtown are quite nice. Newport,Laguna Beach,Dana Point are more upscale. Any of these beach areas are good fun for children. Good Luck!! ... more

... not really a restaurant/shopping/vacation area to stay at. I think the super cheap, cheap price reflects that! (I saw that they listed on vrbo.com for $88 a night.) Harbour Inn Suites in not in HB...possibly in Seal Beach? I will let those familiar with that area ... more
