Traverse City ito Mackinaw City is 2 hours (unless you hit bad traffic). Both airports have rentals. The ones in TC can be pricy. The ones in Pellston are always pricy. On average, TC gets larger planes. IIRC there are no jets going to Pellston this year. ... more
