apartment or self catering studio set by the beach in this resort. Theres just the 2 of us, so it can't be a big villa ... unless its suitably priced!

... location you were asking about. IMO this is a better area to stay, at Pointe aux Cannoniers, close to Grand Baie town. Trou d'eau Douce is nice but quite isolated really. Or look at Flic en Flac, Perybere or Mont Choisy, all have lots of
apartments for rent.

where did you stay? we want to be close to a foodshop, beach and bar if possible! we want to be calm but not deadly quiet if that makes sense ...
