We stayed from 29th jan to the 5th feb for a ski holiday for 4 of us... we booked a two bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our teenage skiing getaway. My dad joined for 3 days and so we asked to have one of the sofa beds set up in the room (as online it said the room can sleep 6) and it was all set up and perfect for all of us. The free shuttle bus service was great and friendly we were lucky to catch it in the mornings with some not so early wakers but he was always there waiting. Bus times are: 8am, 8:30am, 9am, 9:30am, 10am and 10:15am There was only 1 day the bus didn’t come and that was when we got up for slopes at 10:15am but they were very apologetic and the walk was only 8mins to the gondola anyways and the drive was 5mins.
Our only issue was that the cleaners would only change the bins and some days wouldn’t come. So we had to ration the towels and dishes as the room didn’t come with any washing up brushes or dish soap but the cleaners would wash up (which we didn’t expect and would’ve happily done it if brushes and washing up liquid was provided to save them the work). We did also have a dodgy shower hose (we had 2 showers and bathrooms) in one of the toilets but we soon reported it to reception and was changed the same day when we went out to ski!
Check out time is 12 (midday) so you have plenty of time and aren’t pushed out at all. Was perfect for the stay and the two balconies on the room were so picturesque when the snow finally arrived! Would deffo return, we never tried the restaurant but when you get in from skiing turn on the sauna and by the time you’ve gone to your room got into swim stuff, had a dip in the pool the sauna would be the perfect temperature. The sauna did have a few loose wooden slats but was no problem and have been in much worse in 5 star hotels!
The car park is small but often there is a space somewhere, don’t park under the opposite half constructed building though as the hotel staff warned us that a guest once had some debris fall onto their car and was charged a large amount for damage but there is also a free car park opposite the supermarket of the corner of the hotel a 1 min walk from the hotel door, would recommend going there rather than awkwardly having to turn in the right corner of the hotel.
Would return! And thank you to the staff and drivers of the bus!

Visited as group of 5 lads. Ground floor apartment. Had two bedrooms and a foldout sofa bed in living room/kitchen room. Beds were comfy and could be pulled apart into singles. Both sofa and arm chair folded out into beds. 6 chairs round dining table in apartment. Chairs falling apart. Kitchen had limited cutlery, 3 plates/bowls/mugs/glasses. Fridge freezer worked fine. Bathroom did what you needed it to do, and seemed in clean condition. Bedrooms had wardrobes and bedside tables, as well as old CRT televisions. Air con in rooms, but both remotes had no batteries. Rooms always warm unless windows were opened. Pool turned green and cloudy by the end of the week, and hot tub had no water at all in it all week. Sauna was decent. Staff helpful. Did not eat here as restaurant was never open. Overall, would stay here again as we spent majority of trip up the slopes/in bars/not in our rooms!

Amazing hotel location, great equipped kitchen. Welcoming personal service on time. Great shuttle to the lift (Thank you Joro). The receptionist answered all our questions. Great sauna and small but cozy swimming pool. General manager Petya was available 24/7 for us. We had our experience with the warm traditional Bulgarian atmosphere :)) Thank you,Grand Montana!!

Let’s be honest shall we, what do you expect for the money? The bedroom rooms were large and on the whole clean. Facilities were good for a 3 star hotel. Small swimming pool and sauna which kids loved. Breakfast was fine for us. Close to slopes if you wanted to walk but shuttle mini bus was also useful when tired. I can not fault hotel for price, location and facilities.! Great skiing holiday over New Years will be coming back in 2020

We had originally booked at Belmont (Hotel next door) however we upgraded to the Grand Montana - not sure if it was an upgrade?! However our room had a very lumpy sofa bed and only 1 was made up when booking a room for 4! The shower didn’t not drain properly, and as we were self catering the kitchen cutlery was off as had 3 knifes, 4 forks 1 tsp spoon and 2 spoons with only odd glasses and 3 plates!? No kettle either in the room. Rooms are in very poor condition - we didn’t really cook in it as didn’t have enough tools to cook with!! The pool and spa area was depressing- the spa/jacuzzi and steam was out order - and looked that way for months! Pool was cold - very cold! Not really what they advertise?! The only pro is that the gondola lift is only a 8min walk away- with lots to eat near by! However if you are going half term then aimed to be there early at like 7.30am!
