Hastings Grand Central is more than a hotel. It’s an ode to a city. Standing tall in Bedford Street, this impressive jewel fuses glamour and grandeur with a uniquely Belfast spirit. Perfectly placed in Belfast City. Just as Belfast is at the heart of the Grand Central, the Grand Central is at the heart of Belfast. Set in the up and coming Linen...

Located in the Heart of Belfast anything in the City Centre can be reached in walking distance. Public rooms are spacious and the Rooftop Bar is highly recommended. For a business stay or conference perfect. Rooms with view over the city are impressive and I would recommend to go for it especially if you are staying for a private break. For a five star hotel the service, however, was rather average. Our room had not been made on the first day which is disappointing when you return from a day out and would like to have a short break and tea in your room before leaving for dinner. The Newspaper App did not provide access to the promised 7000 publications neither on my iPhone nor on my iPad. Could not be solved. Breakfast was very good in quality hence the variety was limited. Overall a pleasant stay but room for improvement.

The hotel is in a prime position - convenient for so many venues etc. The staff were so friendly and efficient. The whole ambience of the hotel was welcoming. The room was beautifully designed and well maintained. The food was to die for and the service was second to none. There wasn't a thing you could find fault with. We will definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

There were 3 couples in our group and we stayed for 1 night. The rooms are a good size and have a nice view with a great size of a bed but this is most definitely not a 5 star hotel!! There were just so many of the wee things that you would expect from a 5 star hotel missing. The coffee in the room was the usual sachets you get in any 3 or 4 star, when getting drinks in the residents bar there were no napkins with the drinks, there were no nibbles available (wether paid or complimentary). Cleanliness was also an issue. At 11.30am the next morning upstairs in the first floor still hadn't been cleaned with dirty tables etc. One of the couples we were with said there were hairs all over their bathroom floors. The observatory had amazing views but the cocktails where lacking and we all said you couldnt taste any alcohol. For £190 for 1 night without breakfast, they need to do better.

Dear Rachel M,
Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review of your experience in our hotel.
I am very sorry that some aspects of your stay were so disappointing. You should most definitely have had napkins and complimentary olives served with your drinks, this is a minimum brand standard and I will be sharing your feedback with our F&B Team.
I am also sorry that the breakfast tables had not been cleared and cleaned in a timely manner. This is disappointing and I will also raise this at our team meeting this week.
Rest assured I take on board all of the issues you have highlighted and they will be a much considered part in helping us achieve the high standards our valued guests deserve.

We went to the grand central hotel excited for the amazing views in the conservatory. When we arrive the receptionist sent us to the wrong location, when we eventually went back downstairs after venturing around the hotel. We were able to book into the conservatory. Once there we agreed the views where stunning! What came next was a disaster we felt completely out of place as the table next to us got asked for their drinks order first. I had to eventually go to the bar and ask if someone was taking our order after waiting half an hour for someone to approach us. After we ordered the drinks it took a further half an hour to receive the drinks. Don't go if you want to get served quickly for £16 a cocktail I would of expecting the service to be better but to be honest I just felt like the staff felt like we were a nuisance please do better.
