Best part of travelling for me is getting to know different cultures and seeing other places. The feeling of being in a foreign country always blows my mind and I usually have to let it sink in when I land somewhere. I like staying in one place for at least 4 days so I can really get a good feel for it. It so much better that way because you get to savor the place and bring very detailed memories with you when you go home. As much as possible, I try to do as the locals do - eat where the native dishes are best, getting around in the traditional local transportation system, try out things which the place is famous for, and try to learn as much of the native tongue as I can. I enjoy travelling more with company, but travelling alone also offers a different kind of enjoyment for me. There's a certain kind of romance between me and the world when I explore on my own.
