Founded in 1962, Calm Air (MO) is a Manitoba-based airline that operates from primary hubs at Thompson Airport (YTH) and Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (YWG). The airline flies to six destinations in Manitoba and eight airports in Nunavut. Its fleet of 19 aircrafts consists of two Dornier 328JET, eight ATR 42, four ATR 72 and five Hawker Siddeley HS 748 planes. Calm Air also offers cargo services and charter passenger flights. Non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks are provided on most flights for free and alcoholic beverages may be purchased on board.
