I have been relying on Jet Blue for travel Boston to LA but after some truly unpleasant experiences, we tried Alaska Air. So much better! Better customer service, more modern planes, more leg room and more comfortable seats. Unfortunately the Boston Alaska terminal has limited amenities and insufficient seating so don’t rush through security.

Despite the fact that it was a "cattle car" with limited leg room, the service was good. My wife needed wheelchair assistance, and by pre-arranging this, someone was always there to help my wife get to the plane and from the plane.

I’m an Executive Platinum member with AA. At times I take Alaska to Vegas because they have direct flights. I average around 36 flights a year with them. On this flight 1903 out of Vegas, we were informed 30 minutes before departure that the flight was canceled. We waited in line to be rebooked for about 60 minutes. When it...

My experience with Alaska has always been excellent but not so on this flight. This flight had several members of the same company scattered through the cabin. Two women seated behind me, across the isle from one another insisted on carrying on a work conversation without removing their earbuds that were plugged into their laptops but more importantly they invited...

Such a pleasant flight. Everyone most attentive. The food was above average and the service was excellent. Everything on time as well. One of the smoothest landings I've had. All of the guests were having a very good time also.

Flew Alaska again; this time from PDX to SNA round trip. This airline is consistently ON TIME, and the on-board service is always cordial and helpful. As a person with special needs, this means a lot. They have added in-flight movies and its great to be able to plug in electronic devices and use them during the flights. Checked in...

Flew first class last year to Alaska. It was interesting that the snacks they give you in first class are basically the ones they sell in coach. Best thing about first was being able to get off the plane first. In Loreto they disembark from both the front and back doors of the aircraft. If you're slow in getting off...

The plane and the crew were great, meals were what you would expect but actually good for airplane food. We were on time leaving and ahead of schedule arriving. My only comment on board is getting movies to make the time pass on my Apple laptop. No matter what the instructions tell me to do, I just can't figure it...

I recommend downloading the Alaska app. The app is easy to use and clear with all the information about the flight and the boarding pass. The flight attendants were really nice and served twice with beverages in an two-hour flight. Overall, it was a pleasant flight.
