The inflight meal was the best among all the carriers that serve the route. They had japanese style cold noodles, haagen daz and even miso soup for economy class passengers. I was so impressed. The seat was a bit old and tight but it was ok for a 4 hours flight. There was inflight personal TV. Service was excellent and...

One of the best flights I have ever experienced. Check in was speedy, the lounge was great, the crew were amazing and overall the flight was as good as any I have ever had.

A flew with JAL code-sharing. From Budapest to London it was British Airways, from London to Tokyo it was Japanese Airlines. It was the third flight in my life and first with Japanese Airlines. I and my girlfriend already had experience with British Airways, Alitalia, Lufthansa, KLM and Airfrance. JAL is so far the best ever. The legroom is big...

Once again we see the difference between US and international - especially Asian - airlines. For my trip, I flew outbound with American but returned on JAL, a OneWorld partner airline. The AA seat wasn't even a full lie flat for a flight all the way from Chicago to Tokyo. The JAL was completely lie flat and included an ergonomic...

We took a flight to Heathrow to Narita via Helsinki (transit). We compared two type of carrier, i.e., JL414 (from Helsinki to Narita) has wider sheet (Boeing 787) with two row at the economy class, while BA has a normal sheet with three row at the economy. JL has a electric power plug (100-110 V). It was very convenient for...

Once again the JAL website showed itself to be the only weak spot in an otherwise outstanding operation. Even the cross keys concierge at the Mandarin Oriental could not check my husband in and print his boarding pass although she did so for me without any problem. So we arrived at the airport a little bit early. The counter clerk...

Don't let JAL's difficult website prevent you from flying this great airline. We chose JAL because we are in the One World Alliance and our primary carrier American does not have a non-stop flight to Osaka, where our tour was starting. JAL knew several hours before that our flight would be delayed because of a problem on the incoming flight....

I fly often overseas from the U.S. I've come to love Japan Airlines for their level of service and attention to detail. The flight attendance are always nice and polite and you'll always feel special on their planes. The economy seats have more room than any other airline I've flown and the bathroom are well maintained throughout the flights as...

Fabulous and courteous service, newly maintained 787 aircraft, comfortable sky-suite with large monitors, and very good food and wine, is what make JAL a great airline.
