Kunming Airlines (KY) is a Chinese carrier that is headquartered in Yunnan. It was founded in 2006 and commenced flying in 2009. Kumming Airlines offers scheduled passenger flights to about 25 domestic destinations, and operates a hub at Kunming Wujiaba International Airport (KMG). Destinations include Nanning Wuxu International Airport (NNG), Lijiang Sanyi Airport (LJG), Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (CGO), The airline is 80 percent owned by Shenzhen Airlines (ZH). Its fleet of 16 planes consists of 10 Boeing 737-700 and six Boeing 737-800. Planes are configured with a two cabins: Business Class and Economy Class.
