This was our second trip to the Azores which used SATA and we were very satisfied with the Airline. We used SATA flights to and from 7 of the 9 Azores Island and had not complaints other then the smaller aircrafts AC was not comfortable when taxi-ing on the runway, minor. We are taking another trip to the Azores this...

Like others who have posted here, our March 2018 flight was terribly delayed. It was supposed to leave at 9:55pm and eventually left at 3am. Our 1-hour layover in Ponta Delgada was 9 hours on a Sunday - not much to do. AirHelp offered to help passengers seek compensation for the delay. We requested a reprint of our boarding passes,...

Good Evening, On the night of the 26th of December I took a flight from Toronto, Canada with connecting flights in Porta Del Gado and Lisbon, Portugal, and a final destination of Seville, Spain. Unfortunately the Azores flight from Ponta Del Gado to Lisbon was delayed due to operational technicalities within the Lisbon airport, backing up the airport for most...

The flights from hell. We were on a trip and were flying Sata/ Azores Air for the first time. It was going to be to Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel Island Azores and return to Toronto. The flight to the island left on time but was very rough. The flight attendants seemed to be bothered to acknowledge us and would disappear...

Avoid flying this airline at all costs. If they ever take off the flights are fine enough. HOWEVER look up the cancellation and reschedule statics for your flight-- the numbers will astound you. If they cancel your flight you will likely have the right to compensation under EU law. But good luck getting anything from them. I have been waiting...

Travelled there recently a large family was on our return flight with two little ones! I still think about how they were treated - baby definitely had pressure in ears and the older one was throwing up (poor thing). When we arrived in Boston the family was still struggling and no one helped them - I spoke with an official...

My husband and I have visited Toronto on SATA business class various times in the past and were quite satisfied with the level of comfort for a 6.5 hour flight over and 5.5 hour return. The new planes being used now, leave much to be desired in terms of comfort! I will start with the positive aspects of our latest...
