Leaving from Midway in Chicago was the easiest flight I have had in a long time. The Southwest staff was very friendly and accommodating. The flight was on time and was a very smooth flight. I will try to fly southwest again the next time I travel.

I just have to say that I never have a complaint with Southwest Airlines. I appreciate a lot that they have also refrained for bag charges. Thank you Southwest

We flew round trip Pittsburgh International airport to Nashville and back on Southwest Airlines. The flight to Nashville was nonstop, comfortable, and arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled. This was an evening flight arriving in Nashville at 7 pm. The staff from check in to the plane were all friendly, helpful, and treated us with respect. The flight back from...

We traveled on Southwest this time using points accrued from credit card. When Southwest pulled out of Dayton we were disappointed as CVG is over an hour away. The airline is efficient in all aspects. The absence of bag fees is important too in the overall cost. Their boarding process can be annoying depending on the crowd but in this...

I fly Southwest because of their policy concerning luggage. Often I pack only in one carry on suitcase but it is such a struggle to get it in and out of the overhead bin that I find it easier to check. Thus SWA works best for me.

I don't know what planning layovers / transfers entail so I am certainly not an expert but here's my recent experience: Flying from Cancun, Mexico to Boston with a layover in Baltimore sounds pretty seamless, right? Go through customs, yadda yadda yadda....well going through customs took approximately 1 hour and 15 min, nothing can be done about that. Departure time...

Flying with SW is most of the time a pleasure. The attendants are usually friendly and pleasant. The crew make the flight go by great even with the crying babies. They offer two checked bags to fly free.I had a seat that the seat cushion was a little worn but that is the first one I have come across in several...

This was the first time I flew on Southwest. The main reason was because they had a direct flight. I was always skeptical of the Airline just because of the way I have seen their boarding procedure. No seat assignments, pick you own seat. I guess the old saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" is true. Friendly crew,...

Southwest is the best! Just had flights from Fort Lauderdale to Denver; from Denver to Oakland, CA, from Oakland, CA to Las Vegas and finally Las Vegas on home to Fort Lauderdale. Every single flight was on time and every crew member was kind and courteous. Touring can be exhausting and it was a comfort to relax on the plane...

About Southwest Airlines
Dallas-based Southwest Airlines (WN) is the world's largest low-cost carrier. Southwest operates non-stop flights to more than 100 destinations across 10 countries. Unlike many major airlines, Southwest does not use hubs, but rather a point-to-point system. About 15 airports with a significant amount of WN flights have been designated as focus cities. The airline's fleet is configured with just an Economy Class cabin. In contrast to many low-cost carriers, Southwest does not charge a fee for up to two checked bags; non-alcoholic drinks and pretzels or peanuts are also free on board. Early boarding access, automatic online check-in and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
