I've flown Spirit twice now, each time a great experience. Nice fleet of airplanes. I was a little worried about the no-frills experience but it was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. I paid a little extra for the Exit row seat for my 6' 5" husband and it was worth it.

I will never fly spirit airlines again. I felt like we were sardines packed in our seats and the extra cost holy crap I could have flown another airline for a little bit less once all the fee's were paid. never again

This was our first time and, hopefully, our last flying on Spirit. Once you add up all the fees that Spirit Airlines charges, the flight isn't that much cheaper than others. However, the service and seating are much worse. I've never sat in such small seating areas. My daughter who is 5'10" was squashed. They don't even give you a...

We recently booked a flight through Spirit Airlines to Texas. It was a family emergency so we weren’t able to get a decent price anywhere but Spirit due to time constraints. It was definitely different from other airlines; paying for seat choice, reclining seats, adjoining seats, carry-ons except for purse-sized or small backpack sized item, snacks etc., but it was...

Chose Spirit because you can save if you can pack lightly. If you have multiple bags make sure to compare final price (after adding baggage) to that of another airline. I definitely DO NOT recommend Spirit for larger people. I am 6'5". I do not fit in their regular economy rows. Therefore, I had to pay extra for exit row...

Cant find one good thing about flight. Seats so uncomfortable and padding on seat so thing felt like sitting on wooden bench. One restroom for 300 passangers is unacceptable. Kid behind kept kicking back of seat parents did very little to control. If u want cheap and zero services this airline is for you.

Because of a booking snafu, I needed an immediate and inexpensive flight and stumbled upon Spirit Airlines in the airport terminal. Ticket Counter staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely bare bones (as advertised), but the ticket price as unbeatable. Friendly attendants. I'll just know to bring a snacks along with me next time. Would recommend if wanting to fly as...

Our very full Wednesday morning flight boarded and “departed” “on time,” only to sit on the snowy tarmac for 2+ hours before being cancelled - not ideal under any circumstance, but I was traveling alone with my three young kids, which makes everything more complicated. Imagine my shock when the soonest the airline was able to rebook us was MONDAY,...

Never flown spirit before and never will again. Glad I read the personal item restrictions - had to go buy something, my normal bag was too big. Ridiculous to have to pay for a carry-on. Our checked bag - made sure it was less than 50 pounds, but unlike every other airline, Spirit limit is 40. Seats are terribly small...

The new thing is you print out your own tag and boarding pass, no problem... then you still have to show ID and check in with them verify Seating & Bags... Kinda of a waste of time
