For three years now I’ve been hopping from George Bush Intercontinental to Cozumel and Cabo on a regular basis. After reading all the negative reviews about Spirit, and making certain I did not do any of those things, I have had really good success with them. I have never been bumped from a flight ( fingers crossed), and spirit employees...

was super happy about the flight , once we were within an hour of the airport in Cancun the stewardess handed out documents for us all to fill out to make the ease of entry faster and less time consuming. Once in the airport I realized why. hundreds of people standing around trying to understand how to fill out the...

Spirit flies planes with seats that are significantly smaller than average (Delta, United, American). Very little leg room and NARROW, even for a5'8" male 170#! Otherwise OK....just tiny. Oh, and they charge for extra bags now.

The boarding process was smooth and we were seated together on a full flight, despite not paying extra. The Airbus plane was new and clean. We arrived on schedule. Returning was also a very nice plane and we arrived a half hour ahead of schedule

Flight was fine. Airport was horrendous. My handicapped husband with TSA clearance was delayed, pulled aside and then abandoned by the agents. He nearly missed the flight and had to walk a long painful distance.

Although I have never had a great experience with Spirit Airlines, I decided one last time to fly with them and hoped that my experience would be a pleasant one. Silly me. Please note that it was no fault of the captain(s) or flight crew, but rather the situation at DTW during check in and the situation at IAH baggage...

Seats are uncomfortable, narrow and have very little knee room. My knees were touching the seat in front. (I am only 5'6") Thankfully, no one can recline! The Flight attendants have been turned into marketing reps. Selling water, snacks, credit cards, etc. Hoping they still are trained for emergencies.

Seats are not very uncomfortable. I am an average sized person and I barely fit. I understand they have to cut corners to make the flight so cheap, but I think you can afford a cup of water. They wanted to charge me $4.00 for a cup not a bottle a cup of water. also found out if you have...

Spirit airline should be named ‘alacarte airlines’. Everything is extra. Advertised prices are a joke! Their goal is deception. Of course, space and service are nonexistent. BEWARE!

I travel about 5 times a year for leisure and most of the tome I get great deals thru Spirit. Many Many years ago Spirit was not a great choice for flying, delays, no leg room etc. I understand that it is a bargain airline but having just flown Delta a couple times Spirit is by far the better choice....
