spotless aircraft, exceptional service, great cuisine and foods.. but as with all airlines, the seating is grossly uncomfortable, ergonomically atrocious and way too cramped.. barely had 2 inches between my knees and the seat in front of me (I am 5 "4").

I have flown Turkish on several long haul flights to/from Istanbul (Bangkok, Manila, Islamabad) and on every occasion the plane was new, well appointed, and comfortable. There is an very good choice of in-flight entertainment, and the food and service is excellent. Some of the shorter haul flights (particularly Istanbul to Tbilisi) occasionally run older planes, and these are not...

In the last couple of years, Turkish Airlines has been winning a lot of awards for their service and product. They seem to be doing this while still providing a competitive rate, so I was curious to experience the service myself. After flying both Business as well as Economy class, I am not sure why the airline won all the...

I will start by saying that the flight itself was excellent. The crew was extremely friendly, and the service was fantastic. However, the airline's service at Ataturk Airport was very poor. We arrived at the airport two and half hours before our flight. We intended to get there earlier, but out transportation was late picking us up. The line to...

I flew Turkish Airlines only once and it was a short flight, less than 90 minutes from Istanbul to Athens, in Greece. Turkish is a very good airline, certainly one of the best in Europe, but it is difficult to rank it based on such a short experience. On its favor, I can say everything went perfectly, from the friendly...

AVOID TURKISH AIRLINES SPECIALLY IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH YOUR FAMILY. GOOD FOOD DOES NOT COMPENSATE VERY BAD AND ARROGANT CREW! I took the flight TK15 last Feb. 4th. back to my hometown. All my problems began during the check-in. I arrived at Atatürk Airport at 6:00AM (so more than 3 hours before the departure time). The lady who attended...

Turkish Airlines serves great food, what happens not very often above the clouds! 30kg of free bagagge, good service and modern planes make TK a good airline! But: the planes are not clean sometimes and the seats seam a bit "used". But this allways depends on the passangers, how they handle it.......

Boarded the aircraft on time (even earlier than scheduled) by friendly cabin crew. The food was great. Entertainment was very good - a good selection of mainstream and international movies - live TV as well. I was given access to the Lounge at Istanbul which was great. I felt rested when I was there. Both flights were very smooth. I...
