Slip into the sunset sail in style on a 62ft gaff-rigged topsail schooner, an American Bluenose a replica of the Grand Banks fishing boats in Maine. Whitsundays sunset sailing cruise departs from Abell Point North Marina. After being welcomed aboard traditional 62-foot gaff rigged schooner by the friendly crew enjoy a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and nibble on delicious snacks as you take in the views of Airlie Beach from the water. Help hoist the sails or sit back, relax, and enjoy ambience as you cruise across the bay.
  • See a Whitsundays sunset from the deck of a traditional gaff-rigged schooner
  • Learn about sailing and maritime history by helping the crew raise the sails
  • Sip sparkling wine and nibble on provided appetizers
  • Return to shore in plenty of time for dinner
What to Expect
After a full day of activities in Airlie Beach, make your way to Abell Point Marina to meet your departing sunset cruise. Step aboard the traditional gaff-rigged schooner, where you receive a glass of sparkling wine to kick off the trip.
As the boat departs for Pioneer Bay, lend a hand to raise the sails if you like, or just sit back and relax. Traveling on a boat allows for the best possible views of the sunset, Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island, and Pioneer Bay. Be sure to have your camera ready to snap photos in between snacking on the provided appetizers.
After the sunset, the schooner drops you back at your departure point in plenty of time for dinner.

The fourteen of you would definitely fit. Maybe just give them a call in case they have other bookings that might have already taken up too many spaces for you all to fit.
