      Fantastic experience
What a lovely experience. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were warmly welcomed. Aly and his team are great. The knowledge of the surrounding area, along with the wold life is fantastic. Beautiful old boat that has a good range of spirits, hot and cold drinks and snacks on offer. Can recommend the hot chocolate! We saw the white tail eagles and some red deer in the distance. An experience not to be missed.

      Stunning day out
Absolutely great day. The crew were welcoming and friendly. We saw White Tailed Eagles several times both on the way to Acharacle and on the way back. Also saw a golden Eagle soaring high, and an osprey and two separate black throated diver sightings

      Awesome cruise on Loch Shiel
It was an 6 hours cruise on Loch Shiel. The skipper was great to talk with and knew a lot about the wildlife and history of the Loch. We've seen a lot of wildlife that day, such as: Whitetailed eagle, deers, osprey. If your in the surroundings of Glenfinnan and love wildlife i certainly recomment this tour.

A trip that should be 'eagley' anticipated...
Really great cruise from one end of Loch Shiel and back again, with particularly amazing sightings of the white-tailed eagles. Aly and Stuart threw fish for them to come closer and give an awesome display in front of us. There was a very fleeting and distant golden eagle, too. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. I was a bit surprised at the end to be stung for £8 (£2 a pop) for the lukewarm teas and coffees we drank, as we had assumed they were included in the price of the trip and it wasn't mentioned it would be extra when we were offered them, which was a bit of a pity.

A great trip and we saw the magnificent white tailed/sea eagles.
We went on the Green Isle Lunch Time Cruise. I’m on holiday in Ardnermerchan and desperately wanted to see the white tailed/sea eagles. The weather has been mixed to put it mildly and frankly I wasn’t keen on spending 3 -6 hours on a boat in the wind cold and rain so we took a chance and booked the short Green Isle Lunch time Cruise. Firstly the staff were so friendly, blankets, guide books and binoculars were provided they said they’d already seen the eagles earlier I couldn’t decide if this was good or bad news! . We set off and most of the passengers were looking for these beautiful birds, one person thought they saw one and the captain immediately took the boat closer to where they pointed too, no luck, them another one was spotted in some trees and again he took the boat that way then one just flew over. It was a magnificent sight, the captain got very close to the land and threw a fish onto the beach and then there were two of these birds flying above us and landing in the beach. Everyone was so excited even the captain of the boat who must of seen them lots of times, although I doubt the excitement ever wears off, a very knowledgable man on the boat knew all about the pair we were watching including their ages and names and lots of other information about them. I can’t praise this tour high enough I won’t ever forget it. I’m sure in sunny weather it would be even better but this is Scotland! It was such a privilege to see these magnificent birds so close up.

      Brilliant cruise
We all had a brilliant experience on the Princes' Bay cruise. The spotty weather was no bother because blankets and ponchos were provided. Ali and Stuart were fantastic guides, who were very approachable and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful cruise.

Our tour on Loch Linnhe in Scotland was an unforgettable experience. The natural beauty of the loch is simply mesmerizing, with its serene waters reflecting the stunning landscape around us. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, adding depth and excitement to the journey. One of the highlights was spotting golden eagles in their natural habitat. The guide's expertise and keen eye made this rare sighting possible, and it was truly a majestic moment. Additionally, we were thrilled to visit some picturesque locations that were featured in the Harry Potter movie franchise. For fans of the series, it was an exciting addition to the tour. The combination of awe-inspiring scenery, wildlife encounters, and cinematic history made this tour a fantastic adventure. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. This experience will stay with us forever!

Great day out, beautiful scenery and lots of action from the stars of the show. The White Tailed Sea Eagle's were out and about around the loch with lots of close up views. Thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see these magnificent birds of prey. Many thanks to Ali and his crew for a wonderful experience.

      Go!
Captain Ali made us welcome from the offset and showed his local knowledge and enthusiasm throughout He looked for wildlife and shared what he knew, binoculars were available as well as blankets A reasonable priced bar and hot drinks made the trip comfortable as well as a loo on board! We were lucky to be the only people on the trip but felt others has missed out on a beautiful trip on a sunny day Finally, we agreed this was reasonable priced

Go on this tranquil journey from Glenfinnan!
Excellent tour with Captain Alli! We saw the Jacobite Train cross the Aquaduct and had details about the area throughout the trip. He also shared beautiful photos of eagles and other wildlife on the river. It was a beautiful day and a lovely, tranquil ride.

      Let down
First off don't be fooled by the pictures showing the Jacobite train going over the viaduct. It's either been enlarged or a telescopic lens used. The viaduct is quite a distance from the loch. We booked and paid for this trip a good week before going and wasn't advised that the company would be closing for the season on the 11/10/23. We arrived at the meeting place before time, it's a good walk from the car park, took us about 7 - 10 mins as there was no signs of the hotel we needed to find, where we were told by another party that there was a delay of 20 minutes. After half an hour a man from one of the nearby houses asked if we were waiting to go on the trip, we said yes and had been waiting a while. He kindly offered to phone the guy who was supposed to be running the trip. He came back after 10 mins. approximately to say that the trip was cancelled due to the operator closing down for the season the day before 11/10/23. If it hadn't been for this person making a phone call I doubt the operator would have advised any of us the trip had been cancelled. After contacting Tripadviser our refund was quickly dealt with, within a few days

We loved our cruise on Loch Shiel on MV Sileas. The commentary was really interesting and the wildlife spotting opportunities were frequently pointed out, with lots of individual help to make the most of them. The boat was clean and comfortable and the crew were pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

I loved the cruise on the loch, a relaxing 1 hour boat ride. There were only 7 of us taking this cruise @13.45. The staff were very welcoming and informative. Binoculars were available to use if you wanted them which I thought was brilliant, although I just sat there and relaxed listening to the lady speaking of the history, wildlife & scenery. The weather was great too. Next time Im up in Glenfinnan I'll book the 2 hours cruise.

Had the boat to ourselves so that plus our wonderful guides and the gorgeous weather made the cruise a moment to remember!

Being a fan of Jacobite history, it was incredible to see the loch up close. The information provided was perfect.

I also learned that Sean Connery wasn't a fan of water like me!!

Will definitely be going on this cruise again, thank you both for a wonderful experience!

Went with our 2 kids, age 3 and 6, plus the dog. Absolutely brilliant trip, the skipper and tour guide were both friendly and enthusiastic and made it great fun for everyone. There was a sticker hunt and prize for the kids, and the skipper even let the kids drive the boat (a brave move)! Would highly recommend and we would certainly go again!

We booked this wee cruise last minute and werent disappointed. Very friendly welcome on board from Ali and Liam. Lovely tour along the loch with informative commentary from Liam. Great to see the 'location' for Hogwarts Castle. Even provided with binoculars for spotting wildlife. Sadly didn't see any but still a great trip. Socially distanced and provided with hand sanitizer. Will definitely do the full day cruise on our next visit to the area.

We were walking along the Loch when we noticed this cruise. We did a very last minute booking and had an amazing 1 hour cruise. Ali was working solo but nothing was lacking! We loved all the history tidbits he told us about. Even got to see seagull chicks on the little island! We were so pleasantly surprised when he pulled out binoculars for us to borrow and had great fun with those. Spectacular loch, and such a relaxing experience.
