So thankful to Round Town Travel for arranging all our activities
We chanced upon Round Town Travel, after having lunch at a Chinese restaurant (China Garden) nearby. There was a signboard outside about their airport shuttle bus prices, which attracted us to take a further look at their offerings . Melanie attended to us, and helped us to book a few activities, including a 3-hour buggy drive to the waterfalls, Benidorm Palace show, Terra Natura, Mundomar VIP tour, and Airport shuttle. All the activities went without a hitch ! We were told where and what time to meet, plus related advice. In particular, we were very pleased with the reliable airport shuttle which arrived punctually at 6.35am in the early morning. We did not know anything about Round Town Travel when we chanced upon their office that day. So, we consider ourselves really fortunate that we met a good travel agency during our stay in Benidorm.

Great day out from Benidorm with Round Town Travel
The trip was very interesting and we learnt a lot from tour guide Kathy who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She was informative with the timings which made a big difference as you knew exactly what was going to happen and how long distances were to the next place. Everything went very smoothly and Pedro was a great driver. We will treasure this trip for a long time. Highly recommended for a day out of Benidorm. There was an error made with our pick up point but this was resolved quickly, If we had more time, we would have taken another trip with this company.

A very relaxing and enjoyable trip.
24-9-24 Day excursion from Calpe to Valencia, Coach Driver was Davide, & Tour Guide - Kathy. At the pick up point, we were advised of our pre-allocated seat numbers on the coach. Kathy worked very hard; was extremely knowledgeable; organised; and helpful. Throughout the trip her instructions were very clear and avoided any misunderstanding or confusion. Driver was pleasant and punctual.

Apart from the ignorant Dutch people on the coach it was a good trip vey scenic and a great running commentary on the tour of the area

        Another miserable experience
Booked tickets through a ticket office, the trip was with Round Town in Benidorm. The pick up point was allocated by Hello Tickets, and was not the most suitable for us. Received confirmation of the trip from Round Town, with a what’s app message, informing me to contact them if any issues. So I contacted them to rearrange a more suitable pick up point, but was told I COULD NOT ALTER IT. If I wanted to alter it I had to get in touch with Hello Tickets. So got in touch with Hello tickets via email as no telephone number available. But unfortunately just received a generic email telling me to get in touch with Round Town to make any changes. Then actually went to the Round Town office in Benidorm, tickets in hand, along with the Round Town confirmation email, stating get in touch with them for changes. But this time the man in the office was more than rude and again told me he can not change a pick up point and to go back to Hello Tickets. Both companies blamed each other, but couldn’t even speak to anyone at Hello Tickets, Round Town I was able to speak to but were useless in fact the guy was hostile. Would never recommend them, but they probably have the monopoly in Benidorm for trips so don’t see the need for any customer service, as they certainly don’t exercise any Custer care. After writing this I fully expect to get an unpleasant response, something along the lines I’ve read when customers have given a less than glowing review. But this is the miserable truth. Never again.

        Terrible place
Bought city tour tickets as both of us are not very mobile. Got told it stopped outside our hotel. Not only did the buses not run according to the timetable it wouldn't stop when we tried to flag it down. Shop assistant unhelpful and dismissed us. Couldn't of cared less but was happy to take our money

        Very Knowledgeable Tour Guide
Lynn, our tour guide for our excursion to Guadalest was very knowledgeable. She shared lots of interesting information about all of the villages and sights on our journey from Benidorm and also gave us a guided tour of the Dolls House Museum in Guadalest. I would definitely recommend booking any excursions with Round Town Travel and will do so myself on my next visit to the area.

We have just got back from our trip to the waterfalls. Definitely worth the money. We booked directly with Round Town Travel in their high street shop. The lady there was English and super helpful. Not only did they book this tour she have us information on local buses for free days out.

On this trip we stopped at 3 museums (salt and pepper collection, dolls house and micro museum) all interesting costing 2.50€ each site and then 6€ for meal deal (toasted sandwiche, chips and drink)

We had loads of time to mooch around the beautiful village.

We then drove down to the valley where the waterfalls were and the views were amazing. We braved the January weather and got into the water. It was cold but you soon warmed up. Not a chance to miss as it was so beautiful.

You will have a fab time on this trip

Well organised and enjoyable trip, which we felt was worth the money. The views from the top of Guadalest are amazing. However, research which museums you wish to visit beforehand, as they are offered at a discount on the coach journey and need to be purchased straight away.

It's not a massive walk to the end of the waterfalls, but we felt a little rushed as was unsure how long it would take to walk it all, especially if you want a swim and lunch all in 90 mins.

We had a blast during this fantastic half day out.
The bus picked us up exactly on time (thankfully, we were the last ones to be picked up and the first to return).
We then drove for 40 minutes into gorgeous Guadalest (skip the 3 museums, as they're not worth the 9USD per person), spent 2 hours there, enjoying the great view of the mountains and the amazing blue water reservoir.
We then drove for 40 more minutes and reached the Algar waterfalls area, where we spent 2 hours strolling and dipping in the freezing water (entrance, which is 5USD per person, is included).
After that, it was a 30 minute drive back to our hotel.
Our guide, a Spaniard, married to a Britt, was wonderful - funny, full of information and gave us great advice.
The guidance were both in Spanish and in fluent English.
We paid 27USD per person for this excursion and enjoyed every bit of it.

The coach turned up on time to pick us up and the drive to the waterfalls was good. Lovely coach and the rep gave us interesting information about the route and the area.
When we arrived we were told we would be dropped off at the top of the waterfalls as it was busy. This was good as the waterfall walk was all downhill +. The downside was because of previously heavy rain you could only use pool 5 and above.
After leaving the coach we walked to pool 5 the only one with a proper water fall and it was overloaded with tourists. We tried a bit higher up and it was 1 metre deep in parts. We enjoyed the shade in these areas and decided to walk down to the bottom of the falls.
And now the bad news, a reasonably fit person can easily walk from just above level 5 to the bottom in under five minutes. At the bottom more people who can't go in the water!
After this we left about 1 ¹/² hours and went to a restaurant recommended by the tour company where we waited to be picked up for 1 ¹/² hours.
      Summary.
For us this was a one hour visit dragged out to 3 hours. We liked the representative talk on the way but 3 hours was way, way to long to hang around a over loaded pool underneath 1 waterfall..
We didn't turn up for the trip we had booked to the chocolate factory we had booked the next day as thought we had better use of our time.
2* for blue water in and nice cool your feet channel in the waterfalls and the narrative on the trip to and from the waterfalls

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry that you felt the trip was too long for you. The waterfalls are beautiful and enjoyed by thousands of people each year, clearly they were just not for you. It's a shame that you chose not to take the trip the following day as that too is a fantastic trip, sadly you will never know because you did'nt go.

Was picked up on time at 9.30am and after short 30 mins ride to guardelest a charming village with plenty to see, didn’t visit any museums but visited the fortress with great views down the mountainside. After 2 hours , just right amount , travelled onto the falls around 30 mins away. A must see and 90 mins is plenty of time to take it all in , another 30 mins and back in Benidorm around 4pm. Lovely day made even more pleasant by sunny 23degree c temperature and good rep service from around Town travel.

Well the waterfalls were naturally beautiful, but would recommend that you either hire a car or go on an organised trip.
I wasn’t a fan of paying an extra 5 euros each just to sit at a picnic table and public transport to this attraction is non existent. Waited over three hours for a taxi to arrive.

We were picked up by our tour guide coach and it was about half an hour journey to visit Guadalest. This is a village that is in the mountains. The village is beautiful and has a good array and selection of shops and restaurants.we sat at the cafe that is across from the car park which was lovely.

Due to the location of Guadalest it is very hilly and has stairs but you have plenty of small lovely shops to look around and you can take your time. It is such a picturesque village to visit.

We then went to the waterfalls which again is hilly but is very beautiful. If you are planning to go into the various pools/ waterfalls then I would take footwear that you can change into to go into the water due to it being very rocky/slippy. The footwear really helps with this. Nearer the top is a selection of knee deep pools ideal for kids to paddle in with fishes, mid way is some areas supervised to jump into the water from heights. The bottom has the big waterfall but it’s a swim to get to through a strong current. I’d certainly recommend taking water shoes as it’s not sand in the pools, but stones and bare foot is rather difficult and painful, especially for young ones. There is no where to change. The water is typically about 13-14 degrees.

The restaurants here are cooler and cheaper, there are road sellers selling fresh fruit which in the heat was lovely.

The bus journey to and from is air conditioned and comfortable. Driver was very patient and took his time especially as there were some very tight windy and bendy roads. Our tour guide was great but sadly could not speak Spanish to the 4 people but we managed to use Google Translate that helped.

All in all this was a fantastic trip and I would definitely add it to your list to visit as the views are beautiful.

We went to guadalest and waterfalls in December 2019.Booked with roundtown. Duration approximately 6hours,pick up outside hotel.Went to guadalest first beautiful place amazing museums, few shops stopped about 2 hours. We went on to algar falls. When we arrived bus dropped us in near by bus park. From there we had to walk up a steep hill.We had tickets to gain entry which was not a problem this time of year not many people are here. Got the obligarty photo taken going in. Quite a lot of steps to negotiate and quite narrow if there are a lot of people could be a problem. The falls are good we swam in most of them even though the weather was good to water was cold but nice experience. To finish great experience not for anyone who has walking difficulties quite steep and can be slippy. Not great for buggies

Very nice day out, had ample amount of time at Guadalest, and the rep on the coach was very friendly and informative about where we were going and what there was to see and do there. We had two hours which was more than enough time to climb the castle which cost 4 euros each (bargain) and explore the shops below. The views were magnificent from the top of the castle. Algar was fun but very busy. Obviously this had nothing to do with round town or the location, more the time of year we went. There were hundreds of people everywhere and it meant a lot of time was spent getting past people over bridges etc but again we had plenty of time to explore and thoroughly enjoyed the experience would recommend highly for the price.

Two lovely locations to visit. A pretty , historic village with stunning views from the castle over the reservoir and hills. Plenty of choice for coffee etc and two hours sufficient time to explore. Waterfalls were beautiful and on a sunny, warm December day were a pleasure to visit. Very quiet but imagine would be very different in high season. Journey time from Benidorm about 45 minutes to each location.
Only downside was 6 pickup points meant that around 40minutes each end of day was a little tiresome
Angela our guide and Juan our driver excellent
Booking with downtown was 10.00 euros cheaper pp for identical trip with TUI
      Would absolutely recommend
