Very worth a try, learn something new.
This class offers great insight into the culture and background of the Ninja and Samurai. The experience was a strong touch into the aspect of star throwing, blow darts, sword work, and other activities. The instructor has many, many years of experience and provides an atmosphere of learning and calm. If you want to dip your toe into the very top surface of Japan's historical warrior class, take this course.

      Best ninja experience ever
Absolutely amazing experience!! We had a small intimate group where we all got dressed in our ninja robes, learnt about the different ninja meditation techniques, learnt about different ways of ninja walks and then about a variety of weapons. The 2 hours flew by so fast and was so much fun - we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend for everyone to attend!

Perfect balance of history and fun
I took my 14-year-old son, and we BOTH had a wonderful time. We learned about the history and context of the ninja - and it was fun to do the activities. The instructor was excellent. Highly recommend.

      Ninja time
Trained with Ninja teacher Budou -- who was so kind, patient and wonderful. We got to dress up like real ninjas, learned ninja culture and had so much fun during the hands-on sessions! Appreciate how he explained in detail about the origin, history & philosophy of ninjas, the type of tools/weapons used, and how each weapon can be used in so many different ways! I especially loved the "scenarios" where we role played as ninjas on a mission. We had to stealthily advance using ninja walking style. Then we threw shurikens, flicked chopsticks, blew darts out of a pipe and used sword techniques, in order to make our quick escape! This session was so incredibly fun yet informative. It allowed us to understand ninjas a bit deeper than their simple portrayal in popular culture. We thoroughly enjoyed it and had so much laughter together. Totally worth it and made incredible memories during our trip! 😁🎉

      Dreams Come True
I recommend this class 10/10. The hardest part for me was realizing I enter the commercial building and then I took the stairs up to the space. I did the 2 hour class with two other people(father and son). I'm 6'4 and the ninja attire provided fit me great. We learned the history and education of being a ninja as well as samurai. We learned how to do the hand movements. Not walk on the chestnuts with our eyes open and close. How to throw stars, the different name of weapons, blow darts. We got to take videos of doing the activities. My favorite thing was probably creeping to a wall and blowing the dart to take out the target. 😂 Then we did Samurai training where we learned how to remove the blade and put the blade back. Like it's so much stuff that we learned and did. It was so fun. If I lived there I would probably became a full time student. Accidentally lost all my pictures and videos of my stay in Tokyo 😭 but I plan on returning.

Made you feel like a Ninja for a day! 🥷🏾
The best 2 hour ninja lesson experience I had while visiting Tokyo. The class is small and intimate. Learned details on ninja samurai culture and techniques. I have always been obsessed with ninjas since the 80's watching tv series like Shadow Warriors and The Master. And now, Shogun. Perfect for ninja samurai enthusiasts. And trust me, you will sweat a little too but will not regret it.

      Incredible experience, even better sensei
Hands down the best activity we did while in Japan. It is the perfect mix of fun and learning. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect and what made it absolutely sublime was the sensei. He was excellent, encouraging, funny and his English is great. Would definitely recommend for families that are competitive!

Great FUN! Come in groups for maximum fun
Instructors were masters / performers and they were super friendly and hospitable. Crafted a very memorable 2 hour lesson where one will not just have an introduction to the mystical world of ninjas and samurais but have the opportunity to partake in highly fun activities and re-enaction. Highly recommended for anyone coming Tokyo

      Great hands on activity.
This was a great activity to finish our Japan trip on. The two hours flew by as we were shown how to be real life ninjas. 🥷 my family (kids 11 and 13) and I really enjoyed using all of the weapons and we all seemed to excel in a different one (mine was the low dart!) The instructors English was good and his helper was also really nice. Highly recommend.

This was a great experience. I came with my brother and we were a bit unsure when we arrived as it was in a nondescript builinding in an area that is far from tourist spots. Nevertheless, once we entered we realsied we were in safe hands as our sensei welcomed us and made us feel comfortable. The lesson was a combination of information about who/what Ninjas were/are as well as the various weapons they use and stealth techniques. I found the lesson really interesting and there was a good amount of participation and time to get hands-on with the weapons. Very cool and would reccomend to anyone interested in Ninjas or anyone who just wants to try their hand at throwing a ninja star!

My family of 5 (including 3 children ages 11yr-B, 13yr-B and 15yr-G) all enjoyed this experience. Raven educated us about the history of the ninja and the samurai and was able to answer all the questions we had. We all had plenty of turns practicing to throw ninja stars and use the blow pipe to shoot darts. After the class we looked at the showcase and Raven enlightened us to what a lot of the weapons were. I would recommend this activity as a great inclusive family day out.

The hosts were really accommodating with our schedule mix-up. We are so glad we did the experience, with a 7 year old and 10 year old, the one hour lesson was perfect and the kids really enjoyed throwing the ninja stars and trying blow darts. Our teacher Mr. Takahashi was great with the kids. Showing up earlier will allow more time to get dressed in the ninja outfit. Thank you for a fun experience!

Teacher was good and very friendly and smart, and it was fun to dress in the gear. The venue, however, was pretty disappointing. It was top floor of a small office block in the middle of nowhere. The room felt like a classroom and didn't have the authenticity we'd hoped for - all a little rundown. NOT AT ALL like the photos shown here - there are no black walls and dark spaces. This is a stark white classroom. There was no sword play - but we did throw a couple of throwing stars and did some blow darts (which were not authentic in any way, Lol). Overall it was a bit disappointing.

My family & I had a brilliant Ninja session in October. The instructor spoke fluent English and was both knowledgeable and welcoming. After giving us a demonstration and brief talk we were able to try a number of activities including throwing Ninja stars and trying to blow darts. The instructor was very patient and was generous with his time, the session lasted well over 45 minutes. The dojo is in central Asakusa, only a few minutes walk from the station and close to the temple. If we are fortunate enough to go to Japan again we will definitely book a second time so we can try the Samurai session.

It was a unique and absolutely, great experience!
The “ninjas” suburb were super friendly and informative. To experience a quick run of culture, meditation and “weapons exercises” in ninja clothing was very special! Thanks for that!!!

    An amazing & unique experience.
Glad to be able to dive into a Japanese culture that is often seen in cinema or manga but not often talked about.

The sensei taught us the philosophy of what being a ninja is with as well a practical part (throwing shuriken & even chopsticks!)
I also got to wear the ninja clothes which I loved!

Definitely recommend this place, worth the price for sure.

My wife and I did the Ninja lesson today. We were both blown away by the whole experience. We were treated to the history of both the Samurai and Ninja as well as demostrations with swords, fans and meditation. We were taught how to throw ninja stars and blow darts as well as a lot more. I cannot recommend this enough. The staff were wonderful, full of information and want you to enjoy this experience to the max. If there was one thing to do during your trip, this has to be it!
