About
This is a small group tour to ensure a personalized experience so you can be you. Away from daytime bustling and jostling, immerse yourself in incredibly serene Asakusa and listen to our guide recounting its 1400-year history. Savor subtle and profound beauty of historic landmarks lit up by night illumination. Just as Asakusa’s history started by the Sumida river, so do our tours. Step back and forth in time with us as we help you navigate the softly illuminated charming streets of Sensoji Temple, guiding you to the best spots to satisfy your eyes and your curiosity! After discovering Asakusa's charm, make your way to three distinct but typical izakaya restaurants. Savor traditional dishes and drinks. We will share culture and history which triggered their birth. Find out the depth of sake in its varieties, flavors, and production processes which have been refined over centuries.

Yasu was a great tour guide! He knows the Asakusa area very well, speaks fluent English and japanese. We did a nighttime tour and he gave us a very informative historical background of the city, brought us to several different local Japanese places that we would not have been able to experience without hes expertise. He introduced us to traditional Japanese cuisine and saki tasting, he explained different cultural and religious beliefs that helped us to better appreciate our time in Tokyo. Yasu's informative tour encouraged us to go back to Asakusa the next day and do more exploring during the daytime, and this ended up being the highlight of our staying Tokyo. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo! Yasu will not disappoint.

Yasu took us to three different bars in Asakusa. Each of them had distinct atmosphere and taste of Japanese alcoholic beverages. He also taught us not only about the history of Asakusa but also many stories of Japan. We enjoyed a lot with him.

I'm pleased to know that you have enjoyed three distinct types of izakayas, dishes, and drinks. Each of them was traditional and closely related to our history and culture. It was great that you have enjoyed not just food and drinks but the story of their historical and cultural backgrounds. Yasu

Yasu was a friendly, knowledgeable tour guide. Despite there being only one couple on the tour (us), he helped keep the conversation going by sharing cultural and historical insights and asking us questions. The food at the first stop was delicious, especially the beef tendon stew.

This tour would be more interesting to us if the culture and history was shared primarily through the food found in Tokyo's izakayas. There is a history there that we think visitors to Japan would be keen to hear.

Thank you for letting me know how you felt during the tour. It's also good to know that you enjoyed the beef tendon stew. Extremely precious is your suggestion for sharing culture and history through the food found in Tokyo's izakayas (bars). This tour consists of two parts: 1.5 hours for history followed by 2 hours for izakayas. The original design is to focus first on history and then on izakaya experiences. However, since history is our core strength, we believe our guests will get more if we position history and culture as a common thread through the entire tour including izakaya as you have suggested. I really thank you very much for opening our eye on this vast opportunity for increasing values we offer to guests. Yasu
