      Niki de Saint Phalle
This place is a worthy stop on the Tuscan trip adventure. It was mind blowing to see and touch Nikki's creations. We have many of Niki's works here in San Diego but had never knew about her home near Capalbio. My wife had tears in her eyes when we walked up the hill and saw the vastness of the site. It is an amazing work to see and experience. Robert, Casa Di Leone.

      Mind blowing
This is like Gaudi on steroids, absolutely magnificent. The artist had been to Spain back in the 50’s and was so inspired by Gaudi’s works, she decided to create her own park and also a house which she lived in. When the artist passed away in 2002, it was then opened to the public, and so glad it was. Each sculpture is made so that visitors can experience and view each sculpture inside and out. Everyone is encourage to climb/sit onto the sculptures.

      Whimsical wonderland
A magical and whimsical garden of Mosaic Sculpture by the artist Niki Du Saint Falle.. my wife and I are both lovers of the arts so it was a bucket list stop to visit the Tarot Farden while we were in Italy.. I would suggest that anybody who visits should familiarize themselves with the work of this wonderful Feminist Artist and Sculpture before going to fully recognize what she was creating.. it is a sight to behold with huge interactive sculptures made of countless ceramic tiles and reflective mirror glass in a rustic Italian setting..

The Tarot Garden and Much, Much More!
Oh goodness. Where to begin. Monica is such a fantastic hostess to a beautiful and unspoiled part of Tuscany. I enjoyed the carriage ride and being able to go swimming in the clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea! Having lunch at a rustic outdoor eating place was an added bonus. But, of course, the true jewel of the tour was getting to spend some time in The Tarot Gardens. What a feast for the eyes!

A private tour and day with Monica
My wife and I spend a day with Monica for my wife’s birthday. She picked us up at our hotel and we toured Volterra and San Gimigniano and also toured a beautiful winery (Umberto and his family are wonderful) and had lunch with views on San Gimigiano and the Tuscan landscape). The in depth insight about Tuscany , the Etruscans and the history as well as everyday life then and now are so much richer then on a typical tourist trip . Her English is great and she is also just fun as a person to have around. Thank you Monica for a beautiful day!

      Customized Tuscan Tour
We had such an amazing time with Monica during this tour! She picked us up at our villa in Manciano and we had a wonderful FULL day with her. She communicated via email and Whatsapp well in advance of our trip to ensure we had the itinerary we wanted. She not only took us to wineries, but also to an amazing lunch, as well as we stopped quite a few times to hear a story about a specific area, or take a few photos. Our first stop was a small town called Sabana- she is well versed in the history of the area, we stopped in to see the cathedral and walked a bit on the main street of the village. We then went to the famous Antorini vineyards for a tour and tasting. The setup is absolutely gorgeous out here in the country and we had a beautiful setting for our tasting waiting for us. The host was so gracious and also served a very nice charcuterie board with our wines. She was helpful in understanding what to pair with each wine as well as what would cleanse the palate and prepare you for the next wine. We then went to one of the many "Agritourism" restaurants out in the Tuscan region; this one was called Aia del Tufo and it was fantastic! We sat in an outside 'picnic' type area (covered) and had a wonderful lunch, completely made from ingredients raised and produced by this farm. i will never forget the chicken cacciatore... best i've ever had in my life. We also visited a smaller winery called Sassotondo and my goodness, so much fun to spend time with these folks. One of the owners did a foreign exchange to the US and has actually attended Sturgis (LOL!).. what a sweet person and she walked us thru their winery, we were able to watch the team "at work" and then we had a lovely tasting here as well. We stopped here and there on the way back for photos and historic points of interest. We saw Pitiligiano from a distance and I can tell you, we will be returning to continue our exploration. Monica gave us a nice little gift as well!

      Imaginative and creative sculpture park.
We visited the Tarot Garden privately. The quirky and sometimes monumental creations of Niki de Saint-Phalle reflect the 22 tarot cards. We drove several hours for the visit and were happy to have seen the unusual exhibit.

      Best way to experience Tuscany!
My adult daughter and I visited Bibonna, Italy during Easter weekend and wanted to do visit local wineries. I did not want to drive so that I could enjoy the tastings so we booked a 5 hour tour with Monica. She was FABULOUS!! Monica is a taxi driver, licensed tour guide and sommelier...the perfect combination. We saw the beauty of the region, learned about the history of Tuscany and the importance of wine and olives to the area, and visited two amazing wineries. Monica was flexible and accommodating to make stops for pictures and answer all of our questions. The booking process was easy and she customized the trip to our needs. Monica communicated with me often leading up to our trip and called me when she knew we would be arriving to welcome us to Tuscany. She confirmed the pickup time at our hotel and was there early to ensure we got the most of our day. My daughter and I had an amazing experience and Monica was well balanced in making us feel like we had a friend guiding us, as well as giving us space to share the moments with each other. She has a great relationship with the staff at the wineries and makes sure you get the most out of the experience. She loves her home region and the wines they make and her love of all that is infectious. I would highly recommend any sort of tour of the Tuscan region with Monica, but would encourage you to let her guide you to the more local and out-of-the-way destinations. You will experience what most tourists do not. I plan to return on a trip with my husband and guarantee you we will be calling Monica!
