About the operator

- beverleysL6187QA0 contributionsLovely Air BnB apartment with visit to olive grove and vineyardWe stayed at a lovely Air BnB apartment run by Kathrin who is a recognised as a superhost, which we found to be true. She couldn't do enough to help with any query or problem. Kathrin organised a wonderful trip to visit her little paradise of land in the mountains with olive and fig trees and the vineyard. As we walked around she explained how it was managed organically. We were then showed how the wine was produced and bottled and also given tasters of liquers. As a lovely finale we were treated to a tasty and plentiful selection of ham and cheese and sweet treats whilst tasting the red and white wines produced on site. It really was a highlight of our holiday and made all the better by Kathrin's infectious enthusiasm. Thoroughly recommend.Written 5 August 2023

The most wonderful wine tasting experience in a beautiful place with the loveliest people.
Went with 5 close friends and it was one of the highlights of our holiday.
Delicious family produced wines, fresh figs picked straight from the tree together with fresh bread, local cheese and meats and olives and olive oil made from the trees we sat underneath. Idyllic.
Nothing was too much for Kathrin and her family.
First we had a really informative tour of their family vineyard.
And then we had the wine tasting. Kathrin and her lovely daughter refilled our glasses and plates until we were replete. She had candied orange peel and homegrown almonds for us that morning.
Then Kathrin played the accordion for us and together with her daughter she sang a traditional Croatian song for us, which we listened to as the sun was going down over the vineyard.
A truly magical, not to be missed experience. I would go again in a heartbeat.
