Richie was a fantastic tour guide. Great communication before the trip began. It so happened that we were the only 2 people on this tour. Richie has a wealth of knowledge of the history of this area. We had the best day riding around the countryside and seeing the sights. Definitely recommend 👏👏

My wife scheduled us to take the 1/2 day tour and it could not have been a better trip with an awesome guide. Richie picked us up at our hotel and then we picked up the other 2 people as we made our way to Clava Cairns. Richie expertly navigated us across the Weak Bridge on our way to the Cairns for our Saturday trip. He got us there before the herds of other tourists arrived and we had a bit of quiet for the first 20 minutes there. He gave us the history of the Cairns as he walked us through the park. He then shuttled us over to Culloden Battlefield providing highlights on the way and then gave us time to explore the site. The site is well maintained and does an awesome job paying homage to everyone involved. Richie then drove us to the banks of Loch Ness with a quick stop to see the Harry Coos and then to Urquhart Castle. We visited the Great Glen Distillery on the way back to Inverness and the stop was well worth it. The gin was tasty and smooth and of course we could not leave empty handed. Urquhart Castle did no disappoint. We purchased our tickets to the Castle ahead of time to ensure we had access during the trip. We'd recommend anyone heading to the area to book a tour with Richie. We found their website to provide more information on all of their tours as well as the history of the company. Well worth the visit before you make the decision to book. Thanks again Richie, for making our first visit to Scotland that much better!

This was quite the experience. If you have the time I would def do this tour! Richie is absolutely wonderful! He was funny, incredibly knowledgeable, the scenery was gorgeous! I wish I could give Richie more stars.

Our guide, Richie, was wonderful, giving us information along the way to every stop. Since our accommodation was on his way to the start of the tour, he offered to pick us up! This tour was so much fun and Richie explained everything, he's so full of information! This was our first time in Scotland and this day trip made it so interesting and I feel like we learned a lot about Loch Ness, Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, Urquhart Castle and all the places in between! If you're going to be in Inverness for a couple of days, book this tour with Richie! You won't be sorry.

This was honestly one of the best tours of our entire three week trip to the UK! Richie is awesome!! He is incredibly nice and friendly and makes you feel like family. We lucked out and were the only people so we felt like we got a private tour! The places we saw were rich in history and beauty and Richie made sure to explain in detail lots of interesting facts and stories at all of the places we saw! Even though it’s a half day tour you feel like it’s a full day because you see so much amazing stuff! If you want to see Inverness absolutely book this tour, you will not regret it!!

Wonderful tour!! Richie was kind and approachable, knowledgeable and entertaining. He went out of his way to cater to our requests, and made our short visit to Inverness very special. He took us to several places the larger tours wouldn’t, and we really feel like we received a local’s experience.

I recommend this tour 1000 percent. Richie is a fabulous tour guide. It was like hanging with your buddy who happens to be a historian! This was a perfect day for my husband and I. We were in Inverness for only two days and wanted the chance to take in the most significant historical sights nearby and still have time to rest and spend time in the beautiful city of Inverness. We got everything we wanted and more. Richie was communicative, kind, and all around fun to hang out with. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable and also gave us our own time to explore and take the time we wanted. I will be recommending home to my friends and family and will certainly book again with him when I’m up this way next.
