This tour was amazing. We were able to see so much and learn about Portugal. From the moment Ana picked us up through when she dropped us off, she was kind and informative, working hard to make sure we had an excellent experience. She gave us options to ensure we were able to make the most of the experience. The castles were beautiful, and Ana was so knowledgeable and passionate about the Pena Palace. Lunch overlooking the ocean was spectacular. I would give this way more than 5 stars if I could.

Ana was very informative and she brought a lot of fun to the tour with her forwardness. It was a breath of fresh air for my whole family. The lunch place was excellent.

We booked online last minute the night before for a 9am pick-up from our hotel and the trip was confirmed within minutes. Fernando was great! He was on time, very knowledgeable, and fun. Only downside was not having much time at the Palace of Sintra or Cascais, but we only booked a 4 hour tour. We did have plenty of time walking around the town of Sintra and it was adorable. In hindsight, we probably should have booked a 6 or 8 hour tour, but that’s of no fault of our guide and would highly recommend booking with this company!

Had a great day with our guide, Ana. So worth paying the extra dollars to have a private tour to see Mouros Castle & Pena Palace inside and out without having to line up for hours. Ana was very knowledgeable and lots of fun. Cascais and the beach were lovely as was lunch at a great restaurant. Top day!

Great time today with Gonçalo and David—nice, energetic, flexible, and spoke great English. Saw some great castles and scenery.

Due to the risk of fire, the initial plans had mostly been changed and we could not get to the places we had wished to go(Pena Garden and Palace, Quinta da Regaleira&cabo da roca).We were let know only on the day of tour that we cannot go to Cabo da Roca. As the alternative, however, the National Palace and the Palace of Quelez were both a reasonably enjoyable . The tour guide (Mr.F)seems like a good person, but It was disappointing that he kept saying that "Today is not a good day to visit Sintra" and kept asking "Do you have any questions?" so we asked him a question once, but he didn't answer until the end. Also, we suppose bottles of water were included in the tour fee but he seemed to have forgotten multiple time and we eventually could not receive them. As a whole, the tour was not so neat. We are considering to visit Sintra once again, but we think we don't know if we will take your LRS Private Tour again.

Enjoyable day out. Very helpful tour guide. We were collected from port and taken to Sintra village and Castle grounds. Our guide gave relevant information in bite sizes and dropped us back to the ship. Gratefull

We had a great day with Luis as our guide. The castle and palace are amazing and Louis was very informative in a natural relaxed way. Highly recommend.

David was a warm, young host who worked like clockwork. Picked up at 9am and we arrived back to the hotel at 1pm on the dot. David is not a tour guide that talks like a history script, so you’re free to ask as many questions as you like or just stay quiet when preferred. We had one of the busiest days David had seen at Quinta da Regaleira so a long line to go through and the Sintra staff really rush you. (Which is no reflection on this tour, just something to be aware of - don’t expect a lot of time for photos inside in peak season). If you have limited time this is a great option to see Sintra town and Quinta da Regaleira. If you’ve never been to Sintra before I would suggest ask them about the full day tour instead.

Perfect day around Sintra. Full day tour recommended to get the most out of your time. Wear comfy shoes for climbing hills-roads and surfaces can be slippery. Also bring layers as wind can be cold. Guide David was awesome-lives locally and knows the area very well. Smooth driving despite crazy roads and very calm and easy going manner. Made for a relaxing day. We definitely recommend this tour but ask ahead if you have mobility challenges.

Anna Campos is a great guide who is very knowledgeable. She is especially great for those traveling with children since she is very motherly and eccentric. Her motherly nature helped the kids feel comfortable and her eccentricity entertained them endlessly.
