- WalkerTucson0 contributionsGreat experiencesJamming Adventures offered a great deal for multiple experiences of the beautiful Adriatic Sea, the coast, the National Parks, and did it all with a wonderful, personal touch. Herb has designed great experiences and Robert, our guide, was exceptional. We were also pleased to be able to join a tour with three other couples who were so great to do all the activities with.Written 15 September 2019
- scubatravelgirl0 contributionsAction Packed & Relaxing tooMulti sport adventure was a blast with these guys! They provide all the equipment and Hrvoje & Robert take pride in showing you their country. They have a comfortable van for day trips to amazing National parks, laughing & sharing tunes while off to new activity everyday without any of the hassle. Jamming Adventures has nice apartments with the package in a fabulous marina town on Murter Island. They had groceries in our refrigerator upon arrival and gave us excellent bikes to use for the nearby beaches & restaurants on easy paths around the area. Lots of hikes for sunset views, historical sites and ruins to explore right on Murter! We went the first week of June & were happy to have them take care of all logistics & avoid crowds. Sign up & see Croatia with the locals. Herb & Robi are kind, patient & fun! Start training a bit with kayaking, biking & varied terrain hiking...it will be worth it.Written 14 June 2019
- nadsat250 contributionsA cool, active adventure trip in a beautiful countryJamming Adventures offered a great opportunity to explore a beautiful country and coastline with activities that included kayaking, hiking and cycling. It was all very well-divided in terms of time and schedule and offered a great variety of experiences throughout. The activities were very involved, but never too intense. Our guide was wonderful, very friendly and very patient.Written 28 October 2018
- olycaromile0 contributionsA great way to explore new territory!I was looking for an active trip that would give me a chance to see new sites away from the cities while feeling comfortable traveling alone. This trip was perfect. It offers a good variety of activities on the river, mountain, road and sea and an opportunity to explore three national parks. The groups are small so you can get to know your fellow travelers. I had a great view of the sea and sunrise from my apartment and the beach to watch the sunset was just a short walk from there. Restaurants in town offer great food— from pizza to fine dining. But one of the best parts of the trip was the staff. They go out of their way to ensure you have what you need and feel part of the group. Herb is a terrific guide and maintained his good natured attitude despite a day of flat tires, lost dogs, and guests that wandered off every time he turned his back. I’ve never done an organized tour before, but will definitely try it again. Thanks!Written 21 October 2018
- tamlutz690 contributionsCroatia was beautifulLoved Croatia, The food, wine, people. I would have planned a day buffer with the chance of flight issues. However, the tour guides were very accommodating and helpful. It's on my list to go back.Written 20 October 2018
- whatcamefirst0 contributions"Moderate" level of shape is subjective :)Everything about the week we had in Croatia with Jamming in late July was magical. From the moment I landed in Split (albeit 10 hours and two flights longer than it should have been), Paul was waiting to drive me to Murter to meet up with my friends who had arrived (on time!) much earlier in the day. It was nearly midnight and the drive was about an hour & a half but Paul was friendly and chatty and didn't seem bent out of shape in the slightest. I met Hrvoje (Herb!) in the early morning before we left on our first day of adventures and loved him immediately. So friendly, funny and happy. He's also like a walking encyclopedia --- I'm sure every tour guest asks the same questions but, if he was tired or annoyed, it never showed. He was continually kind and polite and answered a million different questions a day (and listened to A LOT of singing) from our group of four, very chatty women. The adventures themselves were awesome. Every day was something new and/or different, incredible scenery. We didn't do as much kayaking as I had hoped but that was due to weather. The silver lining though is that we got to visit Plitvice instead and I couldn't imagine not having had that experience. I did not enjoy cycling ... at all. I hadn't done it in about 25 years and let's just say that 20 miles on a road and with a fair number of hills was not a great way to be reintroduced! Herb was lovely though and put up with my abject terror and frustration throughout that experience as best as anyone really could. But again, the silver lining was getting to experience Krka at the end of that bike ride and I wouldn't have missed that for the world. In general, the activities were more strenuous than I had anticipated. I am a 39 year old woman in decent shape and do not work out regularly but often enough. I also walk five miles a day to/from work. In reading other reviews prior to our trip, I wasn't too worried about being in good enough shape but, after the first day of kayaking 6 miles on the ocean at a fairly punishing pace, I realized that the operational definition of "moderate" is key. As Herb said, Americans just aren't typically as in shape as their other guests. I cannot disagree just based on our little group, despite my pride wanting to! If you're in doubt, I would *strongly* encourage you to do each of the activities (road cycling, ocean kayaking and actual hiking - not just walking through the woods aka "hipster hiking") locally prior to your tripWritten 19 October 2018
- appledownunder0 contributionsAmazing week with Jamming AdventuresI did the one week tour of Croatia with Jamming and it was so much fun. Our tour was very small with just 5 people. As a solo traveler, I had my own apartment and plenty of food to prepare breakfast for 5 days. Our tour guide Herb was terrific, leading us through a new adventure each day, with great enthusiasm and humor. Each night we returned to Murter Island where we have a variety of great restaurants to choose from for dinner. One of the nights, Herb took us to a local restaurant that specializes in roasting a whole pig and lamb on a spit which was absolutely delicious. The best part of this tour is that we get to see all the highlights of Croatia with a small, personalized setting rather than just shepherd through in a giant tour bus like other tourists we see along the way. Plus staying on Murter Island, away from the move of tourists in Split or Dubrovnik provided a nice, tranquil way to unwind and bond after each exciting day of activities. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys active vacations without the annoyance of dealing with mobs everywhere.Written 12 October 2018
- Laetitia P0 contributionsAmazing kayaking tourI was in a group of 5 people doing the 1 day kayaking tour - we had a great time kayaking around the island with our awesome local guide Herb. The weather was still sunny and the water super clear so it was the perfect time for kayaking, and everyone was really friendly and helpful in getting us set up. One of our group was on the last day of the 7 day tour and said that she had a great time exploring in and around Murter the previous days. They also recommended a great restaurant which we later visited - and spotted the JA crew eating there as well! Would really recommend booking with Jamming Adventures if you’re spending some time in Murter, it was definitely one of the highlights of our Croatia trip :)Written 9 October 2018
- Wanderer7020510 contributionsGreat tour! The perfect way to explore beautiful CroatiaOur group of 4 had a BLAST on this tour. We did the 3 day, 4 night tour and were so happy with the accommodations, transportation and our guide...and of course the scenery! Croatia's national parks are an absolute MUST. Our guide could not have been more helpful and attentive...everything went off without a hitch. It's a great mix of planned activities and free time so we were happy to have busy mornings and chill evenings. I wholeheartedly recommend Jamming Adventures to everyone...I hope to be back for one of the longer tours.Written 4 October 2018
- Carrie W0 contributionsThe 5 star reviews are legit. Great tour outfit! If any of you are considering traveling to Croatia, I can't say enough good things about the tour company we used, Jamming Adventures. I've never booked a tour before, but found these guys on The Clymb earlier this year and the excellent reviews and super reasonable price convinced us to give it a try. We were not disappointed. There's a reason this team gets all 5 star reviews. They really are that good. It was incredible. Full apartment and breakfast included. Amazing view of both sides of the island from the balcony. Fresh figs growing outside my door. Hammocks in the courtyard. They pick you up and drop you off at the airport. And all your adventures are set up for you. We did a few days of biking. A few days of hiking. 3 days of kayaking around the island or to other islands. A few stops at various beach bars to swim, snorkel and grab a beer. And you get a day off to go explore or just chill out (it rained non-stop on our day off) but otherwise the weather was perfect. There are local group dinners and wine tasting. Or you can skip it. And the group sizes are small (no more than 8 and our group was only us and 2 other women so you get to know your other guests. The company is co-owned and we got to meet both owners and hang out a bit. Both are super cool and have traveled quite a bit. But the best part was our guide, Herb (Hrvoje) He's a local guy who knows the country, helps you learn kayaking or biking if you aren't familiar with that, and made the trip feel more like visiting a good friend than hiring a guide. I really can't recommend this company enough. It was super laid back and we got to see and experience so much without having to do any of the leg work. There were adventures planned but plenty of time to go run or grab dinner or just relax and catch sunset on your patio. Or just go to bed early. If you want to see the best of Croatia (which will only leaving you wanting more) and you don't want to do all the planning yourself, book a tour with these guys. You will not be disappointed.Written 3 February 2018
- MarinaSTParis0 contributionsGreat Group, Fantastic sport activities in a Beautiful PlaceI had a great time in Murter through Jamming Adventures. Everything was really well organised, we were kayaking, cycling and hikking in beautiful places every day. They have a van and we were traveling in the best spots in Murter. I didn't know Croatia before and I was amazed by the beauty of Murter area. I wanted to do some sports during my summer break and I had a great time with a very friendly group. The accomodation was very convenient as well, one flat with a balcony, near the beach and the town centre. They also picked me up and brought me back at the airport. I loved everything of the 10 days I spent. I definitely recommend doing a tour with Jamming adventures. I look forward to joining another tour soon.Written 24 October 2017
- greencat2220000 contributionsPerfect way to explore Croatia's natural beauty!I'm usually a little hesitant to book a group tour that lasts multiple days because you never know what you're going to get, but not knowing much about Croatia beforehand decided to book the one week kayaking/hiking tour. From beginning to end the tour not only met, but exceeded my expectations. The days consisted of either hiking/bike riding or kayaking through some of the national parks of Croatia, along with some pit stops in wine country. The pace was steady, but leisurely enough that you were able to still enjoy the surrounding beauty. Our tour guide Hrvoje was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, upbeat and kept the dynamic in the group fun. At the end of the day you returned to the provided accommodations which were nice, clean apartments with balconies and kitchens fully stocked with utensils. One word of advice, if you like to sleep with the windows open like I do, use the mosquito repellent diffuser provided and bring along some extra bug spray as well. Paul and Hrvoje also had great recommendations for dinner and things to see in Murter after the tour part of the day was over so definitely ask for their recommendations, you won't be disappointed!Written 16 October 2017
- Alicia Y0 contributionsGreat Active Way to See Croatia's Natural BeautyHad a great experience on the one week trip with Jamming Adventures. Did not have much experience with kayaking or cycling, but am young and relatively fit, and found everything to be manageable and enjoyable. While there was about 3-6 hours of physical activity every day, it was taken at a very laid back pace, so the trip was relaxing while still being active. Water shoes, waterproof sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, bug repellent, and a euro plug adapter are a must. Spent 3 days kayaking around various islands, including the islands of Kornati National Park, swimming/relaxing at beaches, hiking to the top of the islands to see the views, cliff diving, and eating. Spent 1 day cycling, wine tasting, seeing/ in swimming the waterfalls of Krka National Park. Spent 1 day hiking in Paklenica National Park, saw caves at the top of the hike, went swimming in a swimming hole. There was also a free day. Our guide, Herb, was great- friendly, informative, and accommodating. Accommodations, based on the island of Murter, are nice apartment flats with full/queen size beds, balconies, closets, and bed stands in each room. Use the provided mosquito repellent diffuser in your room. I think most flats consisted of 2 rooms that shared a full kitchen (stocked refrigerator, stove, utensils, cooking ware), and bathroom (towels provided, but bring own toiletries).Written 3 October 2017
- Una890 contributionsWeek tour - kayaking, hiking, cyclingI joined the kayaking, hiking & cycling week long group tour in July despite not being able to swim & with very little kayaking & cycling experience but with a very good level of overall fitness and I absolutely loved it! It really got me out of my comfort zone. The staff are very friendly and relaxed, the activities are well organised in beautiful scenery & you get a great mix of activities with one or two surprises here & there. Everything was spot on. If you're half-thinking about doing it, just book it now! I would definitely recommend it!Written 8 August 2017

This trip was extremely well organized with regards to the airport pick-ups, lodging, and itinerary. We had the same guide (Herb) throughout the trip who did everything from driving to the national parks and guiding the adventures. Herb has unstoppable energy, and he goes above and beyond to accommodate all group members and to ensure that everyone is comfortable and having a blast. The national parks are a dream, and the best way to experience them is through kayaking, hiking, and biking. The island is easily walkable with plenty of restaurants and shops. This is the best way to see Croatia, and I would highly recommend this experience to people of all ages with an average fitness level. (I brought wine with me on a lot of the hikes, bike rides, and kayak trips and had a blast)

WOW...!!! What a Great way to experience Croatia. The island of Murter has the best location for enjoying all the activities this region has to offer. The hiking, biking, and kayaking tours are extremely well planned based on your groups abilities, and the Guides make the entire trip one to remember...!!! Hrvoje and Robert made us feel like family from the moment they picked us up at the airport ,until they made sure we connected with our next accommodations in Trogir. Our apartment was great with beautiful views. I HIGHLY RECOMEND JAMMING ADVENTURES FOR GREAT VACATION EXPERIENCE...!!!
