What to Expect

Day 1: Manali Local

Stop At: Hadimba Temple Road, Hadimba Temple Rd, Old Manali, Manali, Himachal Pradesh 175131, India
The first day of the tour is when the participants in this adventure get together for a briefing to set expectations and meet the team as well as get an opportunity to test their bikes via a short ride around Manali. The ride is followed by a visit to the local market to ensure everyone has adequate supplies required for the tour, like waterproof shoes, medicines etc.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Solang Valley, Lies on the western bank of the Beas River, Manali, Manali Tehsil India

Day 2: Manali - Keylong

Stop At: Rohtang Pass, Himalayan Ranges India
We begin our journey from Manali to Leh through the Pir Panjal ranges of Himalayas with a steady ascent of 51kms to Rohtang La pass, situated at an altitude of 13,060 ft. Rohtang is one of the main tourist attractions in Manali and as such its very common to encounter traffic jams here. After a brief stop at the pass, we cross over to Lahaul Spiti district where we descent to Khoksar. We halt for lunch at Khoksar as the team finishes the check post formalities. We continue riding along the Bhaga river to the district headquarter of Lahaul, Keylong which is our resting point for the night.

Day 3: Keylong - Sarchu

Pass By: Baralacha La Pass, Himachal Pradesh 175132
On the third day we ride from Keylong to Sarchu. The journey is around 110 kms but the riders will encounter few water crossings and The second high altitude pass of the trip, the infamous Baralachala. Sarchu is a vast open ground with many tented accommodations. It is situated at an altitude of 15600ft and is a very important stop on this tour. Spending a night here tests the physical fitness of the riders but we ensure that our riders are put up in the best facilities and have access to emergency services.

Day 4: Sarchu - Leh

Pass By: Tanglang La, Leh-Manali Highway Road Ladhak, Leh 194101 India
The longest riding day so far, on day four of this tour we cover the 260km distance between Sarchu and Leh. While the distance is long, the quality of roads makes the ride smooth. On this day we cross the famous Gata loops, Pang, the More Plains and the second highest motorable pass, Tanglang la. We aim at reaching Leh by early evening and hence start early from Sarchu. Day 5: Leh Local

Stop At: Shanti Stupa Road 500 steps from Changspa Road, Leh 194101 India
After the long distances covered on the previous three days, this day is for much needed relaxation and for local sight seeing. The highlights of the day are the visits to Leh palace and shanti stupa. The evening can be spent at leisure exploring the local market in Leh town.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 6: Leh - Khardungla - Leh

Stop At: Khardung La Road, 194101 India
On this day we ride to the Highest motorable pass in the world.. Khardungla. The trip to and fro would take approximately 3-4 hours and we have the rest of the day to explore the Kargil War Memorial as well as Alchi monastery
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Rezang La War Memorial, Tsaka La Rd, Leh 194201 India
We visit the War Memorial which showcases tales of valour of Indian Army
Duration: 1 hour

Day 7: Leh - Pangong - Leh

Stop At: Pangong Tso, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, India; Ladakh, , India;, Leh 194101 India
We ditch our bikes on this day and take a taxi to visit the highest salt water lake in the world, PangongTso. The lake is located about 170kms away from the Leh town so we begin the day early. After having lunch at the lakeside and spending a couple of hours at the shore of the lake, we make the trip back to our hotel where we retire for the night and the tour officially ends next morning when we drop the clients off at the airport.
