I bought the ticket thinking I can skip the line but very disappointed because there were hundreds of people in this e-ticket line itself. Took more than a hour to get entry.

Got there before opening. Had to queue for about 30 minutes but once doors open processing was quick. Would recommend this type of ticket.

Hello, It is not necessary to book ahead for the Hermitage but advisable as queues can be 2 hours in length. Book online if you can. Cheers Ray Roberts
