Cross meter-high sand dunes and visit Bedouin villages on day trips. Explore the famous Wahiba Sands desert and meet the remaining Bedouins who live a traditional life. A ride on the camel is energy-saving and you will be completely relaxed in a short time and enjoy the trip on the kings of the desert. These majestic animals are the only ones to have replaced the wheel and are perfect for traveling through the desert. If you choose a 2 day trip, we will set up an authentic camp for you and you will enjoy a delicious local meal under the stars. Drink Arabic coffee and taste dates or Omani halva.

    2 km before Sama al Wasil Camp, on the left, there is a small village that is your meeting point You need a 4WD vehicle, reduce tire pressure to 20psi If you don't have a 4x4 we can arrange a transfer, 35 OMR car to 5 people from Al-Maha gas station
End:This activity ends back at the meeting point.

      Memorable trekking tour with beautiful views over the Terrasse of the green mountain. We met locals and had delicious home made lunch with a wonderful kind guide.

      Totally worth it
      We had an amazing experience in the wahiba sands thanks to the well organized and kept schedule by Jacqueline. To someone looking for an different experience away from crowded gatherings i highly recommend it. From visiting the omani family to the offroading in the dunes to even arranging a camel ride on request everything went smoothly and spot on. Totally worth it and kudos to an well arranged outing. Looking forward to visit again sometime soon.

      Unforgettable moments!
      Far away from any tourists, individually according to desire, we were driven by Jacqueline in a breathtaking, but safe drive through the beautiful dunes of the red Wahiba desert. Great was the visit to a Omani family with their 8 children, where we had lunch, typical Arabic food with rice, chicken, dates and coffee. On request, she even organized a camel ride before going to safari. Everything was well organized and had nothing to do with mass tourism. Many thanks for these unforgettable moments in Bedia, which we were able to experience with you. All the best for you and your little girl
