- pegeej0 contributionsDO NOT USE THIS SERVICEDo not buy your ticket on this app. The ticket was never available to view. It was emailed and we followed the link to get the ticket. Myself and the customer service employee at 101 could not get the ticket to show. I had to purchase another two tickets. I canceled my ticket on this app but was not offered a refund even though the purchase tickets never were assessable through email or the pdf TripAdvisor sends. I wasted my money and time and will not be using this app again after my last reservation with them. I don’t recommend this app to anyone.Written 28 October 2024

- GlenDubai0 contributionsRefreshing Tdriveour of Taiwan Heritage Village.A short ride from Taipei and you start climbing into a moutainous are with view of waterfdalls and then descend into a valley with a view of the most inviting lake of crystal clear water. Moving alongside the lake for a few kilometers you then start up into an other range of mountans also with numerous waterfalss that obviously feed into the same lake. On arrival at the village you are ushered into a theatre with a crafts centre in the foyer to view ladies who are busy with the craft of weaving cloth which is then used in making their traditional clothing.People of the Ayatal Tribe present Gaga Theatre which puts their traditional tribal music and dance to the task of displaying their culture to the audience. The audience has the opportunity to understand the Atayals values as hunters, gaterers and acraftsmen as well as their ancestorel disciplines, tribal ways and foods. After the show there is the opportunity of going to an Atayal Village Market wher all forms oif their handicrafft can be purchased along with their traditional foods including bamboo rice and other pork dish delicacies.Written 30 November 2012
- Spears850 contributionsrecommended Wulai toursI don’t have to say much about my Wulai tour with Sanpu travels. But yes, what made the actual difference was the prompt and quality services by the tour operator. I along with all five of my friends on the tour was very very happy on our return. We kept on talking all things about the tour throughout. I will recommend Wulai tours to others friends and relatives.Written 3 August 2011

Can’t “hop and off” as you’d be waiting hours for the next bus
Can’t take photos, as there is a glare on the windows.
Only did Blue line, didn’t do Red Line as I’d had enough.
But met some nice passengers and it’s a good way to get an idea of some of the City.

If you want to see a bit of the City with an opportunity to get off now and then, this is a good option as long as you keep expectations realistic. If you don’t get off, in about four hours you can ride the two lines (Blue and Red), passing by (or at least near) many of the important sightseeing and shopping areas, especially on the west side of the City. Thus you get an orientation to the City that can be helpful if you have limited time.
The tours begin on schedule at the original starting point, but after that the published timetable is useless because of the vagaries of traffic.
Hopping back on can also be problematic because some stops are not marked.
It’s best to plan in advance where you want to spend time. If you tell the attendant where you want to get off, she will come and get you at the right time.
The attendants we met were consistently friendly, spoke good English, and helpful.
The biggest flaw is that many of the landmarks aren’t really easy to pick out from the bus. The exceptions are the huge places, such as the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall/National Theatre and Concert Hall complex.
It’s worth the time and $!

- The service is well organized
- The departure is right on schedule
- There is the Blue and the Red routes
- I found out that they are different brokers. I pay $21:50 American dollars for both routes
- You also can pay at the bus
- If you are not familiar with the city, go early because going throughout the Square Shopping Center is very confusing
- The initial stop is located outside Taipei Main Station, Exit M4
- Part of the upper floor of the bus is very hot. The air conditioned area is very small
- The lower part of the bus is all air conditioned but the viewing is very limited
- Bring water
- This Tour will give you a general idea of the city and its different districts. Later you can explore on your own the areas of your interes, by Metro

No hop on or off for this eager tourist, waited patiently at stop 16 for 1.5hrs. Timetable QR codes didnt work. A shame. If you're an english speaker their website is difficult to navigate. Maybe do what previous reviewer said... catch taxis and support local workforce.

Love this service as which help us to look through taipei as we hardly to walk around with young kids and elderly. We hop on at Taipei Main station and tour around. The Bus is very punctual which is very important to us. Managed to drop us back right in front our hotel in Ximending. However, In sound system and translation part need to be improved. Keep it up.

4 hours unlimited ride through KLOOK is a good deal. 4 hours, without going down in stops, can be enough to complete the loop and do it all over again.

The top deck of this bus is something I would not recommend in the month of August. Protective sun canopy was half open and mist spray to rear was non- operational. If you want to get around select your spots and take a taxi.

Our group booked this tour after arriving late the previous night. This tour was much nicer than similar tours we’ve taken in other cities. The best part of this tour was the hostess, Sherry. She was extremely polite and helpful. She notified each rider personally when their specific drop-off spot was approaching. Also, the minute rain started to fall, Sherry was immediately passing out plastic raincoats. The audio presentation was informative and interesting. Overall, an excellent way to see a very friendly city.

You can visit all key attractions in Taipei with these two tours. Raining is daily in Sep so always bring your umbrella to get around the sites!

We did this today and was really disappointed. The tour was in English but on a tape so there was no atmosphere and in between there awful music. The actual tour gave information but you had to guess for yourself when you were upon it. We initially sat outside but t was just to hot and then we had to wait for a long time to get indoor seats - I would recommend the indoor seats! The problem is the viewing as all the windows have writing on then so your view is marred by window stickers! We have done a few bus tours around the world - this one could do with learning some lessons from other cities! Get a personal touch, have a specific tour guide, move the window stickers and give the whole tour some atmosphere!!!!
But it’s a good way to sit and relax and see the City - we had a map so was able to try and work things or for ourselves which helped!
