We did the half day tour to Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall and the Pingxi Sky Lantern. Our tour guide and driver was Hicks Wang and he was excellent! We recommend booking your tour with him.

Roger was an amazing tour guide for the jiufen tour. It was rainy that day but he was prepared with umbrellas,raincoat and making sure we were safe. He was very friendly and gave us his best recommendations on where to visit for shops while we explore on our own. I will definitely recommend the jiufen tour with Roger!

The was an extremely good and personal tour. Our guide fully catered to what we wanted to do. Also very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Would highly recommend.

This tour was an excellent way to be able to see Taipei city on your own terms within a short time frame. My guide and driver was more than happy to answer my million questions about Taiwan and he was happy to adapt to my schedule (sometimes I just wanted to drive by a location rather than stop and get out). My only complaint is that I wish there had been two of him (one to drive/park and one to guide). Sometimes I had to go alone to locations as we were unable to find parking. Which is not his fault at all, but it would have been nice to be able to ask him questions about certain things or have him take my picture at certain locations. If I were not solo travelling this would have been less of an issue. All and all though I feel that I got my moneys worth.

Shifen and Juifen old town were very scenic and beautiful. Great for photography and the lantern painting and lighting was a great experience. The tour provides an excellent trip outside of Taipei for a break from the city. Our tour guide Alex was friendly and passionate and told us loads about the history of the area and Taiwan’s rich culture and history. Would definitely recommend for anyone in Taipei for a few days to see a bit more of the region than just the city.

Very interesting tour covering a variety of locations with good scenery and pacing and ample opportunities for shopping and eating. The guide was extremely conscientious and informative and helpful. Very enjoyable experience.

We had an excellent tour with Hicks. He was on time (early even), picked us up directly from our hotel, had an agenda in mind but walked us through it and asked if there was anything in particular we were interested in, and knew a lot about the city and stops we visited. We would definitely recommend this tour to any travelers wanting to see a lot of Taipei in a short amount of time.

Went with my brother, and it was great to have a private tour with just our guide Sean! He answered all our questions, and provided background to the different sites. It was great getting away from the crowded city, and enjoying nature early in the morning before other visitors arrived. There are a couple of places to buy food/snacks in the Yangmingshan park area. A definite highlight to our trip, was seeing the amazing formations at Yehliu!

Nicolas took us through Maokong, the temple, and tea plantations / houses in this area. He was so very knowledgeable and helpful, providing a lot of historical & cultural context. My husband and I love tea, so it was a real treat to learn about the intricacies of tea production and making from a guide who is a tea connoisseur. He went above and beyond and after the main tour, took us to one of the best and most unique tea shops in taipei to experience and buy rare, high quality oolong.

Had a short layout tour in Taipei, our tourguide Mr. Jackson provide a great hospitality, he able to provide a lot of nice information about the city and also recommended us a lot of places to visit based on our availability. My kids manage to tried out the Taiwan's famous Mango Avalanche dessert and dishes from the famous Ding Tai Fung 鼎泰丰, all thanks to Jackson.

One of the best tours our family has experienced. Seeing these popular destinations at night added to their beauty. Our guide, Chiao-Chiao, is a true professional. Her knowledge and insights made the experience truly special. Take this tour!

The tour guide was terrible. The first thing he said to me was “looks like we have a lot of items on the itinerary, which would you like to cut? That should not have been a question as it was designed by the tour operator. When we got to the National museum, he wanted us to wait to join a big tour. We ended up going through the museum ourselves while he chose to wait in the lobby. Had I not mentioned Dihua street he would have skipped it. When we got there, he told us to explore ourselves and he would pick us up in an hour. The whole tour was like that. He asked if we wanted to go up to the observation deck or just take photos outside. Either way he wasn’t going to accompany us. Dropped us off at the mall at Taipei 101 and that he would come back in 90 mins. I told him we didn’t need to shop, othetwise I would just go to south coast plaza at home. He then said he would come back in an hour. Needless to say our tour ended early. We are seasoned travelers as a family, and we have never encountered such bad local guide. Personal grooming was also lacking. Facial hair, nose hair and ear hair should have been shaven/trimmed.
