My tour guide: Jack Chou was amazing – well-rounded and knowledgeable about everything and able to converse on many topics while driving to multiple destinations. From the start, he introduced himself right away. He had a great presence and pleasantness about him. I enjoyed our conversations and learned a lot of new things in Taipei. The weather was not great – rained most of the day. However, I did get to see a lot of great places: Yehliu Geopark – impressive, Shifen Waterfall – wow, Shifen Old St/Pingxi – my favorite event especially the sky lantern launch on the railroad track and Jiufen Old Street – a lot of history, shops, places to dine & views. I am amazed by the tea ceremony and delicious food at Yu Tzu Fan Shu Cha plus the amazing scenic view. Jack helped make recommendations on the best teas to buy, lunch destination and carried all my purchases while I window shopped. He made it easy, safe and worry-free in reaching each destination. I enjoyed this private tour a lot and would highly recommend Jack to be your guide.

Vincent Hsu is the best of the best! Having been on many group tours, this tops the list as our favorite tour ever. Even though it was a long and tiring day with young children and older family members, our tour guide was very aware of how to handle each type of energy level and interests — ranging from chatting with the older crew to playing games with our two kids to keep them very engaged. Everything was precisely timed and he got us to a dinner punctually at 7pm even without rushing! Best part? We didn’t have to stress about taking photos throughout the tour. Vincent takes beautiful pics and zaps them to you at the conclusion of the tour. He pours his heart into his work — you won’t be disappointed!

The sights were wonderful, but the driver/guide/organization? Not so much. We had used YOLO Travel for an earlier trip and it was great, but this time was an ordeal. Our driver/guide Sean was really nice, but he had not reviewed our tour and thought we were on an 8-hour tour which covered other things, so he took us to the wrong destination for our first stop, which meant we did not have time for the sky lanterns. Also, the driving was awful. The start-stop/slow-fast driving made all of us car sick -- Sean had to stop at the side of the road so one of us could throw up and the rest of us felt awful. I should add that we are all ex-military, so we are normally extremely motion tolerant; this was bad. There was no easy way to fix the tour, and no one to call. Two stars becuse the sights we did see were amazing and Sean was really nice. But would not recommend.

We only had one day to visit Artie and chose to maximize our time by booking the full day city tour. Our guide, Nicholas Ying, was amazing! He was so fun to spend the day with and had so much knowledge about Taipei and Taiwan. Highly recommend this tour and Nicholas!

We had an amazing trip with our tour guide, Vincent Lee. He was super helpful, attentive, and was a pleasure to have as our guide. He also had videos introducing the destinations and foods we were going to, and introduced us to the best shops in each area. Most importantly he knew all the best photo spots and angles and was our personal photography. Thank you again Vincent!

A group of friends and I booked a private one-day tour to northern Taiwan, and we had an amazing, unforgettable experience. Our tour guide, Vincent Hsu, truly made the day special. He was not only kind, patient, and funny, but also incredibly attentive to our preferences. Vincent tailored the tour based on our requests, which we greatly appreciated. We enjoyed one of the best meals we had in Taiwan and had plenty of opportunities to shop. ROGER LO!! One word, EXCELLENT!! Why excellent? Several reasons…. My wife and I have experienced many tours in our life. Roger Lo was the best ever!! Whatever we asked for he executed with the above and beyond mentality. Before going starting the tour, I told him that one of the wish was to try some Chinese oyster vermicelli. So what does he do? He shows up with two big bowl of the delicious Chinese oyster right in the very beginning of our private tour. Furthermore, he took his time to explain every little detail of everywhere we went to. And one of the most important thing is that he is an excellent photographer and a great historian… will never forget the 15 dishes plus that we had together… :-)). Thank you YOLO Tour and Roger Lo.!!

A group of friends and I booked the 3-day tour to Sun Moon Lake and Alishan, and it was the highlight of our trip to Taiwan! Our guide, Caleb Wei, was amazing. We appreciated his personality (he was kind and patient), his great tips on foods to eat and places to visit, and his history lessons at every stop we made. We enjoyed the entire itinerary - from biking around Sun Moon Lake to seeing the 5 wonders of Alishan (including the sunrise and sunset, the sea of clouds, and the railway).
