This was a good journey which provide a valuble and good service . They guaranteed 80% of seeing a whale but we already have seen two whales . We are lucky ❤️⭐️ thanks the seats was good we enjoyed a lot .....

We went our first tour on SriLanka by this boat . Very happy to inform that we were excited and wonderful in this whole tour . We had a sunset tour . They provide the best music with beats according to our nation . The snack and the meals tasted yummy . We loved the journey and the staff cuz they were very considered about us ❤️

This trip is advertised as a 3-4 hr morning trip, inclusive of breakfast and morning tea. It cost 60 USD each. We went on the early morning whale watching trip which left the harbour at 6.45 am. After about 30 min we ( and several other whale watching boats) saw an adult fin whale surfacing for air. Shortly after and separated from the mother was a very small (2-3 metres) baby fin whale. All the boats chased and got very close to the baby (with 2 m). This lasted for about 20 mins. I leave opinion of the animal ethics of this to you. Most of the boats then left the baby. We were given watermelon, cake and banana to eat. Then as we had seen a whale we were told we are now heading back to the harbour. Arrived back approx 9 am. Again you can judge if you this this is a good experience for the money.

You need to arrive early at yoru boat so as to pick a good spot in the front of the boat, else seeing a whale would be difficult. Our boat was the Yamuna Cruise owned by Chaminda. This boat was piloted responsibly, they did not cut in front of other boats nor drove recklessly towards a whale once sighted. They maintained the recommended distance. Caution, in a three hour trip approx. you will actually see a whale for max about a minute in total plus or minus.

Trip was absolutely phenomenal! I got to see hot only whales, but also flying fish, turtles, and dolphins . Kushan made sure to explain any questions or concerns before and during the trip. A must do if you are in Mirissa.. Going back to the USA with amazing memories to share.

The captain and team are actively sailing around known dolphin and whale spots. It resulted with a great experience of watching a fin whale coming to surface right next to our boat.

1st of january we came Wow its amazing tour. We saw the Finwhales,Blue Whales and Dolphins.Captain was very Talented for the show the whales and the crew is very friendly. My Friend is the Ashen.He was working in this boat.He Show the whales and Dolphins Nicely.This tour is very intersting and I recommend this boat for the whale watching 100%. We really enjoyed today. Horrible and worst experience of our lives. Have done this in New Zealand and the experience here is below a 1/10. We booked a private charter with Chaminda given the reviews and checked multiply times given weather should we go out. His team and he insisted it’s ok and that we have booked and we will be fine. They also said it’s safe and ok to take young kids. The experience was beyond horrible - the waters were choppy like crazy, water flooded into the boat and the kids and family got very scared. The weather was terrible and not appropriate and unsafe. We shld not have gone out and they shld have listened to us. We had to come back in about an hour and obv did not see any whales. They showed us some spinner dolphins from far and said you saw dolphins. After the ride their ppl are like please tip us. And then worst of all when we are trying to call him post to fix things - either a part refund etc - they switched off phones Don’t be fooled by the reviews. You will regret it

Bad experience because this boat try to very close to whales and disturb them and otherwise he disturb others whales watching boats.

Amazing tour! We have seen whales, dolphins. We have saved turtle. At the end we have been swimming and snorkelling at the open ocean 🩷

We have seen many dolphins and few baby whales. Its better to go on sunny day as whales are seeking sun and warm places. Trip takes about 4-5 hours. Small breakfast was included.

It was a beautiful experience!! We saw the whale on multiple occasions which was amazing! The captain and team were very kind and shared interesting information with us! We absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!
