My wife and I were in southern Chile/ northern Patagonia in Feb. 2024 looking for an English-speaking guide to take us out to the marble cave for some kayaking. We found the right outfit. I've done more than my fare share of similar water sports, but my wife is always nervous and cautious about such activities, especially around water.
We contacted Mai (who runs the outfit,) through TripAdvisor/Viator. And were very pleased with the choice. Mai was very responsive, even on short notice, and provided all the necessary gear (includ. booties and wet suits). This outfit checks all the boxes: Mai is patient, competent, professional, strong, knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. I'm not sure how much more you could want.
The weather was sunny and comfortable, the water was calm, and everything was well planned and executed so my wife remained at ease.

Our guide Mai was very helpful, knowledgable and professional. The views of the unbelievably blue lake surrounded by snow capped mountains and marble formations were out of this world. Equipment was well maintained and it was a good exercise to paddle to the caves. Mai told us about geological history of the caves. Highly recommend this tour.

The kayak tour was a great experience. A clear recommendation. The guide was extremely helpful with tips and information via WhatsApp before the tour. The lady speaks perfect English and can answer any question. Your expertise in kayaking, weather, tour guide combined with your English skills made you one of my most valuable people on the trip.

I did a Marble Cave Kayak with Mai and it was absolutely spectacular. I met with her at Puerto Rio Tranquilo and turnbdrove down to the area where Kayak tour begins to Marble Caves. She gave really good lessons and pointers for kayaking out to the caves, practiced a bit and then we started kayaking. Once we got to the caves, she gave a brief history of the Marble Caves and then had the chance to look around. She did not make me feel rushed, took my own pace and asked if I wanted to look some more before heading back. She was spectacular and would highly recommend her!

We loved the kayak tour we did with Mai at Cormoran Expediciones. We had to get up early but it was so worth it! Mai showed us how to use the paddles to control the kayak and gave us time to practice before we set off. There were only 4 people in our group and we had lots of time to explore the marble chapel, cathedral and tunnels. Mai was very knowledgeable and we felt very safe. We enjoyed the kayaking there and back too, it really is the only way to do it! 100% recommended.

It was such a wonderful experience and Mai was a wonderful guide. The kayak tour offered the opportunity to experience the silence of nature and as we quietly floated by the marble rock formation, I could tell why it was called a Cathedral. It felt like you were in a sanctuary of worship. Mai offered us the space to quietly be by ourselves as we floated among the marble rocks. That is a truly sensitive guide. Much appreciation for Mai as a guide. This ride should not be missed.

Amazing and easy tour. The guides were very helpful and communicative. No complaints and loved the small group size they offer. It was only us and one other couple. I 100% recommend; very worth the money.

Is this tour offered on cruise ships coming thru or is it too far inland? I'm considering a HA cruise that takes in pantagonia but might not hit ports close enough!
