Best Private Tour Guide of Kyoto - Mr. Kazuo Sumi
Mr. Kazuo Sumi is a very friendly and informative guide. He was kind enough to work out an efficient site seeing plan for us (since we were in Kyoto for just 8 hours! Just like an elderly gentleman, he guided us through the metro / bus / tram network and at each location, took his time to explain us everything about the significance, Japanese culture et al. Even his knowledge and guidance on the right souvenier shops and local markets helped!!! He worked with our pace and our plan which made this a truly private experience

      Excellent experience and tour guide
Rue was our guide and she was excellent. I did not have much exposure to Japanese history before I came here and she definitely filled in a lot for me. She is extremely knowledgeable of Himeji Castle and pointed out many details that I would’ve never picked up had I went on my own. I will book another tour with her next time when I come back.

      Expensive taxi ride
Communication breakdowns with three individuals resulted in an inability to adjust the tour schedule without impacting the completion time. Consequently, the tour duration was reduced from nine hours to five and a half hours. While acknowledging partial responsibility, we note the limited flexibility offered. Despite our expressed preference for minimal temple or castle visits, the initial destination was a temple requiring over an hour's travel time. The attached photos are of the Monkey park and rickshaw ride in the Bamboo jungle. We had a difficult time explaining that these were our priority destinations. We had to pay extra for these activities on top of what amounted to a very expensive ($1,000+) taxi ride.

      Great Private Tour of Tokyo!
We had a great private tour with Kei. Communicating with him ahead of time was easy and gave me confidence that we were going to make a great use of our time. He set a great itinerary based on what we were looking for. Super friendly and knowledgeable. I loved how he shared lots of Tokyo’s rich history and his passion for the city. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo!! Ask for Kei!

Private Day Tour Tailored to your Interest
This tour was absolutely tailored for my husband and I visiting Japan for the first time. We were able to choose the sites. We wanted to see oh while using public transportation, so we would feel at ease. Koba was outstanding and went above and beyond, providing me with information about each site that we visit as well as helpful hints to using the metro.

Excellent day with a wonderful guide
Minori was our guide and she really looked after us. She was well informed about all aspects of the Island and was very flexible with what we included in the trip. Unfortunately for us the Pagoda was being repaired so was not visible and the ropeway was not operating because it was winter so we could not go to the top of the mountain. I would definitely recommend taking this tour.

Highly recommended day trip from Sapporo
Great day trip from Sapporo! Our guide, Mr Roy Aoki, is very knowledgeable of the history of Nikka Whisky and it's founder and personally guided us throughout the distillery in Yoichi. Our Otaru visit is very rewarding, thanks to Roy who recommended the best place to purchase a music box and best place to have snacks. More power to your tour agency👏👏👏

      A memorable- lifetime experience
Rita and I are world travelers; we came to Hiroshima knowing it was going to be a unique experience and indeed it was. Yuko, was our tour guide; professional, extremely knowledgeable. We found in her a great ambassador of peace and felt touched and encouraged to continue working towards peace too. Thank you Yuko for this memorable tour to your resilient city and people. Please do not miss this experience and tour.

      Great Tour
We had an 8 hour tour with Nobu, who was fantastic! Nobu took us all over and shared plenty about Tokyo and Japan with us. We had seen a lot of the sites previously but had a whole new level of appreciation for them after visiting with a guide.

      Great Tokyo Day Tour
Izumi provided a great day-tour of Tokyo! He shared a wealth of information about Japanese history, speaks English very well, and is very kind. Highlights for us included visiting the Asakusa shrine (Buddhist temple) where you can get your fortune revealed, fish market (we had sushi lunch at Sushizanmai), a book and stationary store with traditional offerings, the Meiji Shrine (Shito temple) as well as Mizukoshi (a posh department store). We recommend doing this tour early in your visit in case you see something you want to revisit (we did)! Also, have no fear of the Tokyo subway. It is clean and safe. Moreover, Izumi will help you navigate the system.
