About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- E7431UWamyg0 contributionsSlightly disappointing. Good job for spice plantationVery long drive to get there. Which isn’t that bad as we had the private taxi there But just note that when you book private. It doesn’t mean that it’s a private jeep tour aswell. That’s shares. Unless you want to pay around £40 extra which is a rip off considering how much you’ve already paid for this tour. Our jeep guide made no effort to speak to us, and another person on the tour did the translating for us as we were about to get charged for extra things that we didn’t need to be charged for. The spice plantation was lovely, the tour code there was very knowledgable and it was really interestingWritten 6 March 2025
- stevejd20140 contributionsAn easy short day tour away from Goa.This tour was a pleasant escape from the hustle bustle of Goa. We were picked up in a small private vehicle with an attentive driver who navigated safely throughout the day. The butterfly tour was pretty ordinary and as it is “open” the butterflies are seasonal and we didn’t see any. The overall complex was pretty underwhelming but the host was friendly and we enjoyed a pleasant chat and cuppa afterwards. The 45 minute spice tour was interesting and we purchased a few spices afterwards. The buffet was really great and all the staff were really attentive and the surroundings around the spice plantation were really delightful. Overall, the tour wasn’t particularly spectacular, but it was a nice day out of Goa and represented average value for money. If you want a short day out of Goa it was comfortable enough and ok.Written 2 March 2025
- A_T_R_I_P_A_T_H_10 contributionsA Perfect Day in Nature at Dudhsagar Falls and the Spice PlantationThis full-day trip into the forests and spice plantations was a wonderful experience. Dudhsagar Falls is absolutely breathtaking, and once you’re there, it’s impossible to resist taking a dip in the waterfall, so carrying a change of clothes is a good idea. If you’re traveling with kids or have specific food preferences, it’s best to bring your own breakfast since the options are limited. The lunch at the spice plantation, however, is much better and adds to the experience. Overall, it was a great way to spend the day surrounded by nature and exploring local culture.Written 26 February 2025
- Robert J0 contributionsLong trip but impressive fallsA two hour trip to the falls but plenty to see on the way. Keep ride to falls was exhilarating as driver kept up a good pace! Walk to the falls is 15 mins and you need good shoes and good balance. Swimming area was very busy. Would be great to see falls in wet season when they are more spectacular.Written 21 February 2025
- 276satex1230 contributionsBest way to see Cochin. Our guide Riyas was very informative and helpful. Felt we got a good mixture of sights of Cochin. We were greeted with a flower Lei and a big smile. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip.Written 15 February 2025
- Jet475475060510 contributionsSkip it, take a cab insteadAlicia was helpful and organised a hotel pickup for us. The driver and a car us all we got. The driver was not a guide and would just drop us at a point and we had to find our way around A crucial thing like dress code is not mentioned in the trip details. We could not enter a Cathedral since we were wearing sleeveless dresses. Spice plantation was overcrowded and while our guide Shrutiks was good, the food was lacklustre. We skipped it. Skip this. Not worth it. Hire a cab and gi by yourself, because that’s all you get here. Cab and a rather quiet and unfriendly driver for 10 thousand bucks. Cab outside will charge 60% of that and not a penny moreWritten 9 February 2025

- cpw650 contributionsVery, very long day for little to see!!Trip firstly cancelled at 9.30pm on day before but rearranged for following day; not best start as pick up time was 6am and would have liked more notice of cancellation! Anyhow, 6am start way too early, I’m on holiday to relax and enjoy, not to get up at 5.30am!! Didn’t reach falls until 5 hours later after further pick ups and change of coach. Ride down to falls in 4x4 took 45 mins and def not for the faint hearted, very, very bumpy and uncomfortable, beware those with any back or joint ailment! Further short walk over very uneven and rocky ground, again beware those not particularly fleet of foot! When finally reached, falls were impressive but very busy and virtually impossible to enjoy a swim with crowds. Another 45 minute ride back in 4x4 to pick up coach and 45min drive to spice plantation which was interesting and very good lunch. Then back on coach which after drop offs didn’t land us back for another 1 hour 40 mins. Overall an overlong day with very early start. Would I recommend, I’m afraid not!Written 26 January 2025
- Venture7290670 contributionsSecond to NoneIndeed that was exactly how I felt during my tour of the Paul John distillery in Goa a couple of days ago. I have done similar whiskey tasting tour in Scotland of leading brands and felt my experience at Paul John was nothing less. In fact more in certain respect. Asmita who took us around was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and extremely professional in her job. Am grateful to Heemanshu- global brand ambassador of the brand for arranging the tour. Am definitely a convert now. The distillery employs best in class manufacturing processes and his perhaps the best kept factory premises I have ever seen. Congratulations to the team and I wish Paul John to soon become the top most single malt brand in the world. CheersWritten 25 January 2025
- easytraveler20190 contributionsLovely place to see.I gave it 4 out of 5, due to that when we got to the waterfalls you had a difficult job to get to the water. Way,way, way too many people there. You could not sit for long. Needs to be less people taken up there at a time.Written 15 January 2025
- Global6708210 contributionsA great day trip.A fabulous trip, we did the private transport option and had a very nice driver Sanjay who collected us and drove us first to the jeep safari and waterfall experience, and then on to the spice plantation. The waterfall is stunning- would recommend wearing trainers as there’s a bit of climbing about on rocks and change of clothes if you are going to take a swim there. The guide at spice plantation was really informative and tour wasn’t too long, we found it really interesting. Tip- don’t buy bananas to feed the monkeys when you are waiting for your jeep - they shouldn’t be fed.Written 15 January 2025
- Hazard57210 contributionsUSA Family of 4 - Good time, do it, Bring a Swim Suitamazing, bring a swim suit and Swim under the Falls, yes do it! The walk over rocks to the falls is not easy, bring Crocs or good hiking shoes that can get wet.Written 1 January 2025
