      Take this tour!!!!!
We did the Eco Tour and it was fantastic!!! Adino, Arion and Shakimba were our crew and they went above and beyond in every way possible. The boat was a 52" Jet boat so could get closer to the shore for pickup drop off than those with outboards could. It was super comfortable. We went snorkeling twice which was awesome. Some hiked others just relaxed onboard. Drinks were provided as was an excellent lunch onboard. The captain, Adino I believe but if I'm wrong forgive me!) was excellent. He explained all about the biology of the various species of seas turtles found around Antigua. We visited several nice beach areas and reefs. This is one a the best tours I have taken. The group was great the weather excellent. 5 stars is not enough!!!!

      Lots of fun
A lot of fun! Because of wind, The Atlantic Ocean side of the island had larger waves. The pilot of the boat was a skilled driver. The title of “Extreme” applied today, it was a little scary when the waves blocked the sight of land.

Best tour/excursion we have ever taken.
We have gone on quite a few cruises and usually do independent excursions. I can say that this is the best excursion we have ever had. The crew is top notch. We took our school aged children (the youngest being 7) and parents (70s) and everyone loved it. The crew was amazing with the kids. The amount of things you get to do on this tour is great and we never felt rushed. I was worried about how "extreme" is was going to be based on other reviews but if you have ever been boating before, this is really no different. My youngest child who was never on a small boat before told me the boat wasn't going "fast enough." They pick you up right at the port and will have you back to the ship in time. This tour is worth every penny. You will not regret it. When we cruise again we want a stop in Antigua so we can do this tour again.

      'Xtreme' tour is 'Xtreme'
My husband really enjoyed the tour. The ocean was rough that day so I found it to be more intense than I would have liked. Not that it was in any person's control. The conditions were what they were. We also snorkeled in rough water at the Pillars of Hercules, which is a neat rock formation but not necessarily great snorkelling. Many other places were recommended for snorkelling in Antigua. Lunch was good. Our captain, David, and crew were really great. They shared lots of Interesting Island info as we went. And we saw so many beautiful sights that you can only see by water.

Thrill Ride Tour run by Experts!
First, the email communication to book this cruise is simple, straight forward, and timely. Words like "extreme" are used as sales gimmicks. This is the real deal. The tour involved everything from calm waters to large (6-8') swells on the windy Atlantic. The boat seems small for those waves, but the Captain is extremely experienced and an obvious expert! We felt a thrill from the uncertainty in the waves, but never in danger due to his skills! I toured with extended family and two kids (5/6). They enjoyed every part of the trip! The crew is patient, helpful, and generous with the rum punch. They also manage time very well. We had beach time, lunch time, snorkel time, and a educational lesson on the history of the harbor as well as extra tidbits about the island. Nothing felt unduly rushed and we were never bored. I would recommend the tour to anyone between 5 and 100. Lunch was simple but delicious. Prepare for blazing sun, wind, passing showers, and to be splashed often. Leslie, Tyrese, and Rasheed were awesome tour guides and will ensure you are back well in time for your cruise ship schedule.

      10/10 Experience All Round!!
Amazing tour around the island with Leslie, Rasheem & Tyreece! They brought amazing energy to the boat and were very informative about the island. My favourite parts were Stingray City where I held a stingray (very scared before to do this but the park ranger explained everything very well and the stingray were super friendly!) and rum punch at the beach. We learned a lot about Antigua’s history along the way. Thanks so much to the team!

      Amazing 10/10
We had an amazing time on this trip with staff and other guest. A full tour other the island on a boat filled with history of the island and local knowledge, lunch was amazing so thank you to the staff! I was hesitant of holding a ray but the guys were awesome and told us how to hold it and relax us, I’m glad I did get a picture in the end because it’s a must do !!

      I’d go Again!!
‘When you get on the boat, you’re like Family’ Rasheem is a weird Uncle; Tyrese is like a really cool cousin while Brandon; is making us laugh and doing the work! Really enjoyed the experience however; the Atlantic portion is not for faint of heart however; felt very safe! Great information and history shared in an incredibly fun environment! Wanted to stay on the boat and ‘hang’ with this crew! Well worth the fee!

      Brilliant day 🤩
Fantastic day out and well entertained by the crew captain David, Mark and Tyreen. Sailed around the whole island, visited some great beaches and swam with the stingrays. Lunch on one of the beaches was delicious, as was the rum punch. The historic talk about Nelson’s Dockyard very interesting and educational. Definitely worth every penny.

      The best speedboat tour ever!
The best day! Dave, Tyresse & Mark were the perfect hosts. If you are expecting a slow guided tour around the island book another trip. This is fast, bumpy and you will get wet! We would 100 percent do it again. Great lunch too!

      Fantastic day.
Fantastic day, weather was mixed but the trip was fantastic, the lads onboard Desmond, Lesley and Mark were very informative and the banter between them and guest made the day fun from start to finish.

      Great tour and great crew!
We had a great day visiting all the points of interest - Hell's Gate, the different islands, and the mangrove area. It was raining when we walked to the beach pick-up point and the weather looked ominous, but once we got on board, the rain stopped, the sun came out and we had was a fabulous time. The crew were professional, friendly and helpful, and our lunch on board was really good. The water where you could snorkel was rather choppy, but those who went enjoyed it. We'd recommend this tour.

We chartered with Antigua Adventures for a full day tour. The office staff (Brichelle and Nell) were excellent- super pleasant to deal with, responsive and informative and clear in their communication about the details. Our boat was called Seduction. And we liked it so much we did it twice! The boat was spotless and perfect for our family of 4 (two teen boys) but could have easily fit more. We went out on a Monday and liked it so much we asked if we could also go back out on Wednesday and by chance the boat and the crew were available. We can’t say enough good things about our captain, David and his first mate, Dino. They were professional, kind, funny and flexible and willing to make suggestions of activities or spots they thought we’d like. We fished, swam, snorkeled, lunched, chilled out with music and also visited Laviscount Island- which was worth it and fun. As I said, we enjoyed our time with them so much we went out with them twice. We’ve chartered all over the Caribbean and our experience with Antigua Adventures was definitely one of the best we’ve ever had. When we eventually make our way back to Antigua a trip (or two)with these folks will absolutely be on our itinerary. Thanks for the amazing two days!

We loved the Adventure Islands tour with Adventure Antigua! They picked us up at the port, minutes walk from Cruise ship. Instructions were easy. The boat ride to the Laviscount Island was scenic and worth the $170. The turtles were amazing. Quick stop to Hell's gate was interesting. I really enjoyed the snorkeling at the last stop but i wished we could have stayed another 15 minutes. I felt rushed there but overall I'm very satisfied and so was my friend who didn't get into the water. I definitely would recommend Adventure Antigua. I almost went with Sun Paradise but the tour was slightly different. Thank you Adventure Antigua for a fabuous day in Antigua!

We had a great, day long adventure on a very comfortable boat. The Captain, ist mate and crewman were quite skilled and the best in showing us the sights and experiences in Antigua. The Laviscount Island stop was amazing (feeding & touring the island followed by a tasty lunch. The swim and hike thru the cave on Hell's Gate was fun. Later we snorkeled over the reefs and saw an array of fish & manta rays. It was a wonderful time & I'd recommend it for all who visit Antigua.

It was such a nice day tour, very chilled and not rushed. The guide explained all the islands/coast we passed on the boat too, so we get more than the main activities. The tortoises are so cute, this is definitely the best part for us.

There was some confusion in the morning as our hotel booked the wrong tour for us, but the team from Adventure Antigua sorted it out and we managed to get on this tour that we wanted last minute, this is much appreciated.

Beautiful coastline. We stayed at Pineapple Beach Club and drove to the first collection point at Jolly Harbour to make the most of the trip. Saw different beaches and hotels and forts along the coastline which was interesting. We went past Stingray City to have a look and saw some stingrays from the boat. We then saw the Aldabra Tortoises at Laviscount Island. There were many of them and some were huge and very old! We got to feed them bananas and carrots and they seemed very happy in their spacious area. Next we got to see the baby tortoise nursery. Each person got to hold a baby which was lovely. They had a few different parrots there and an iguana. Some had their cage doors open so they were free to go about the island which was nice to see. We did a tour of the little island and then stopped for a delicious lunch and juice.
We then went onto Hell's Gate. We walked through the caves and up to the top of the rocks. The views were gorgeous from up there. We then went snorkeling and saw fish and a Stingray. Had a very quick stop on Maiden Island and saw a large starfish and then started our journey home. An interesting and scenic tour with a great crew.

Great time! Well organized with very good and caring guides. Amazing powerboat ride to laviscount island where we spent time with tortoises, birds and saw some iguanas. Also had a nice catered meal. Then a trip and hike to hells gate where the guides even helped those who don’t know how to swim (like myself!) to get to the island. Lastly time spent snorkeling or chilling on the boat while we had catered banana bread and rum punch. Relaxing, beautiful views and just a great day spent in Antigua. Would recommend to everyone!

We took the Adventure Islands Tour in February 2024 and had a really great day. Everything ran very smoothly and to time, from our pick-up/drop-off at Jolly Harbour to the various stops we visited on the tour. We particularly enjoyed the stop at Laviscount Island where we saw giant tortoises, macaws and iguanas, as well as enjoying a delicious lunch (jerk chicken and pasta). We chose to swim/snorkel in the water rather than climbing up Hell's Gate which was still really nice and it's great how they offer different options to make the tour accessible for all. At the stop designated for snorkeling, we did the short guided snorkel which was fun, but perhaps a bit more guidance could have been given for absolute beginners like us on how to do it! Overall it was a brilliant day out and special thanks to Graham who was really friendly and knowledgeable about Antigua.

Couldn't rate our trip with Adventure Antigua highly enough. Great crew who took us to Laviscount Island where we got up close with some amazing wildlife. The tortoises and birds found here have all been rescued and wouldn't survive in the wild but are living on this beautiful island and are cared for by people who have built an incredible bond with them. The birds have all been bred in captivity but take turns to have time outside of their cages (otherwise they'd fight) and live their best life. The tortoises all came out of their shells deformed so again couldn't survive in the wild but this is the next best thing. This is eco tourism at it's best. Then back to the boat and a swim to Hells Gate before rum punches and banana bread on the way home 😍

We went on their Adventure Island tour that takes you to see tortoises and tropical birds, a visit to hell’s gate, and then snorkeling. We can’t recommend this trip/company enough! The crew was fantastic- there was Dino, Bradley, and our captain who we unfortunately forgot the name of. They were funny, informative, kind, and just made for an all around wonderful experience. We did a hike up Hell’s Gate which was lovely, but just fyi for any one with mobility issues it does require climbing on rocky terrain around sharp rocks. It was amazing and we would do it again, but it was a little more physical than we thought. It wasn’t a packed tour which made everything that much better! We would absolutely rebook with them if we came here again!

This island is run as an animal sanctuary for rescue giant tortoises (among others). You get to meet these oldest living creatures and feed them carrot sticks. Just mind your fingers as they have a very big bite!! Some of the tortoises have natural birth defects such as only three legs or an indentation on the shell (tortoise eggs are very delicate and can get damaged before hatching). The tropical birds include macaws and cockatiel as well as indigenous island tortoises and iguana. This visit can be added on to the swimming with the stingrays tour. So if you have the time, please support the work they are doing with these ancient reptiles.
