This adventure exceeded our expectations and we would recommend this to anyone who is considering it. They really knew what they were doing and took their time to explain and answer question. We were super impressed by how fast we were in the Caribbean scuba diving so comfortably and Enjoying every minute of it.This is an excellent value

Booking this excursion through Carnival I was definitely nervous, I had a really bad experience with a dive shop in Mexico when I tried to get certified and it didn't end well. Leonard and the other instructor (so sorry I cant remember her name) were wonderful. During the skills time in the pool she could tell I was struggling and came to talk to me, that one on one made all the difference as we determined I wasn't getting enough air and just opening the regulator more solved the problem. After that the dive was flawless and my husband and I had the best time. Diving about 25 ft we saw a ship wreck and schools of fish, even a turtle hiding amongst the wreckage. I WISH that I had came here first for my certification because I think it would've made all the difference

I want to thank Mike the dive master and his crew for a wonderful experience. I am certified but having been diving for 15 years. My 3 other members have never dove. Mike was so calm and helpful for the ones with nerves that it was a very good and pleasant experience for them. I highly recommend this company for beginners interested in diving and becoming certified. Top 10 in my book! I'll go again next time I Have the chance!

I booked the introductory diving course via email. The booking experience was pleasant and straightforward and I was looking forward to having a great introduction to diving.

However the experience on the day started poorly and went downhill from there. I was told check in time was 8am so arrived then but nobody turned up at the pier until 9am. The check in went poorly as when they had arrived the person didn’t bring the materials. Finally after having waited around for more than 90 minutes I was eventually told that they didn’t have enough equipment for me to do the activity. I was offered a different time but instead took the refund as the level of professionalism did not give me any confidence I’d get a better experience a second time around.

It was a complete waste of my time and very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend the company to others.

Best experience ever. I had Mike and I got really lucky because I was the only student he had for that time. So, it was a 1:1. Mike explained throughly everything I needed to know and what will happen when we go underwater to ensure my safety as well as enjoyment. He was very patient with me and a funny guy, lol. I was anxious at first but when I was able to understand and do the tricks that he taught me under the pool first, I got comfortable and more confident when we got to the open water. Thank you very much for the experience, Mike! Now I look forward to certifying and do more dives =). I LOVED it!!! 5 stars!!!!!

Trip was great, just what I expected. A quick refresher in the pool, then an amazing dive at a ship wreck in the ocean. Our guide Urnie was great and patient with all levels of divers. Couldn’t ask for a better time!

Lisa was our instructor and she was very methodical and reassuring to us newbies. Her basic technique instruction in the pool was perfect. The dive itself was amazing for a first timer and it went by so quickly. Had such a good experience, going to try another dive before leaving.

Carl was our instructor and was great! He was passionate about diving and really a veteran with the sport. We felt 100% comfortable going on our first dive together with him. We scaled down on a rope out in the ocean and every few feet Carl made sure we were properly pressurizing our masks which made the dive extremely comfortable. During the dive, he lead us through a wonderful ship wreck, pointed out tons of cool fish, used a flash light to show us colors, and adjusted our vests for buoyancy and comfort as we were diving. I would highly recommend Red Sail for diving and ask for Carl!

Also, there isn't really a place to put your stuff so I'd recommend just coming with your bathing suit and cash for a tip.

Where do I start? Under the guidance of a Professional Association of Diving Instructor (PADI) you learn the basics of scuba diving in a one-hour pool session. Then it is time to put your TRAINING TO WORK with a one-tank boat dive. We dove to a maximum depth of 25 feet to see the ship wreck, the Pedernalis. It was an oil tanker torpedoed by a German submarine during WW II. I got to see all kinds of fish, an octopus, a sea turtle and so much more. My PADI was Daniel. He was the best and made me feel very safe by his side under the water. He even did bubble rings which was amazing! I want to go again. The next time I hope my 15 year old son will be able to equalize his ears to go with me. Daniel took the time with him and it just turned out he couldn't do it this time. I was very proud of how well he did! I would love for Daniel to see this so he knows how thankful I am for taking a little extra time to help with Dylan's ears. He said he would try again because he really liked scuba diving in the pool and was looking forward to the ocean. Also, Linda Garcia was very nice and informative. We were there on Tues. Feb. 13th, 2018 and had a later trip out to the dive sight. The weather was very nice. The water calm and the ocean was warmer than the pool. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS EXCURSION TO EVERYONE THAT WANTS TO LEARN HOW TO DIVE!!! Thanks for the wonderful memories!!!! <3

My husband and I are very experienced divers, but our teen son is not. He took an introductory scuba class here, and it was not great. Basic skills are not reinforced and mastered before taking off, such as how to properly clear a regulator or mask, just very basic things that every new diver needs to know how to do to ensure enjoyment and safety. Too, I think communication is part of the problem. Dive instructor had a very thick accent, and while this is certainly understandable, considering Aruba is wonderfully multicultural, this can make instructions difficult to understand for the beginner. My feeling is that this intro program is a way to make a quick dollar, but is not necessarily quality, organized instruction that promotes safe diving. Hated that this was his first experience with the great sport of diving.

Dear Mrs. Rrc245, We would like to apologize for your negative experience with us. However, we'd like to learn more about your situation and what exactly did not go well. We know how much input our dear instructors put on our guest. For us is strange to hear that they did not explain or did the proper instructions for your son. They are trained to provide a good service and explanation for all our guest. So, please email us at jennifer@redsailaruba.com and we will get back to you promptly. We want to make things right, and would be looking forward for your email. Yours sincerely, Jennifer
