Overview
Travel like the pirates used to—on a teak schooner—during this half-day cruise from Aruba. Combine a sightseeing cruise, a bit of history, and the opportunity to snorkel into a single morning, saving you valuable vacation time. Using the provided snorkel equipment, explore the underwater world at three stops. Take advantage of the all-inclusive experience with a hearty barbecue lunch and open bar.
Highlights
- Three Aruba snorkel stops make the most of your time on the water
- Included snorkel instruction and equipment appeal to beginners on up
- All-inclusive experience with barbecue lunch and open bar on the boat
- Travel in style on an 85-foot (26-meter) “pirate ship”
What to Expect
At MooMba beach, board your teak “pirate ship” and sail away from Aruba's picturesque coast, taking in the sights from the deck.
Set sail for the first of your three snorkel stops, Malmok; its shallow, calm waters are great for beginners. Prior to jumping in, you get fitted with a mask, flippers, and snorkel by your experienced crew.
The next stop is Boca Catalina, with similar conditions and tropical fish such as grouper, parrot fish, angelfish, and yellow-striped grunts.
The day’s finale is the shipwreck of the SS Antilla, a German ship sunk during WWII. Paddle around the hulking ship and see the local marine life that has made the ship its underwater home.
Back on board, refuel with a barbecue lunch and drinks from the open bar. Take a turn on the rope swing or simply lounge in the sun on the way back to MooMba beach.

This was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed it and would do it again. Just don't have too many of their signature drinks, or you'll end up sleeping the entire afternoon like I did, and I only had 2 :).

My husband and I went on this trip, and did not enjoy it. I drink; he doesn’t. The ONLY way people actually enjoy this trip is because they’re so loaded up with cheap alcohol so they’re drunk. It’s a full tour, even with COVID. When you get to the snorkel spots, there’s about…

Response from Carla C, Manager at Jolly Pirate Morning Sail and Snorkel Cruise in Aruba
Responded 17 Jan 2021
Bon dia, Greetings from sunny Aruba. We were sorry to learn that you did not enjoy your cruise with us. Please know that Jolly Pirates has limited passengers to thirty guests, follow strict protocol and our team has been professionally, PPE trained. Since the pandemic, both new and repeat guests are impressed with the stunning and increased amount of sea life - at the snorkel sites we visit - personally I have noticed the difference as well and love snorkeling with the turtles, parrot fish and angel fish too. I would love for all of our guests to enjoy our trips. It's too bad that our cruise wasn't a good match for you. It is for this reason that I looked up your reservation and have refunded your tickets. The Outdoor Adventures is also a reputable company, indeed offering a different experience in the South. Take care of each other, Carla
