- dwdtrip0 contributionsStill a lot of fun, even on a cool windy day in November! We did the combo shipwreck and snorkle tour in mid November 2024 (11/14/24). The air temp was in the mid 60s and the water temp 72. It was also windy. But once in the water it was ok, chilly, but still fun. We had to not go to the reef 6 miles out due to the rough water, but the alternative location had tons of fish and was sheltered. The crew was fun, very friendly, gave out local ginger beer soda (similar to ginger ale) and they made rum punch. The glass bottom was interesting too. I recommend them! Even if cold and rough they will make it work. (No pictures, I kept my phone put away). Oh, you could get out of the wind and sun on the boat we took, it was big, had an exposed upper deck and enclosed lower deck, two bathrooms, an open bow, an easy ladder and deck into the water. We booked them through Norwegian, we were on the Breakaway ship. Also, when they gathered us up on the cool and windy pier, I give them great credit for saying if you wanted to not go, you could get a full refund. We almost didn't go due to the temperature and wind, but I am glad we opted to still go. We will do them again.Written 18 November 2024

They were knowledgeable about The Triangle and Bermuda. The drinks were amazing!! The music was good, the weather was nice. Highly recommend! Wish I could give 10 starsWritten 15 November 2024

- chriskO146ZT0 contributionsWaste of time and moneyOverpriced and boring. The boat was old and rickety as well. To be honest we were a little worried out there...I.would recommend the Crystal Caves, one of the catamaran tours, or take a flight in a single prop cessna over the island with HeatherWritten 19 October 2024
- chriskO146ZT0 contributionsAbsolutely terrible experienceAbsolutely terrible experience. The woman at the desk was extremely rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. When I mentioned that the hospitality at all of the other islands that I have visited was far superior, she literally scoffed and told me that "this is how we do it in Bermuda", like she was representing the culture as proud to be nasty and rude. Skip at all costs.Written 16 October 2024
- 630quinlanm0 contributionsBest Experience EverOne of the best fishing experiences I’ve had on open water. My family caught tons of beautiful fish and the captain and crew were friendly and informative! We had a blast and it’s a memory of a lifetime. I would absolutely recommend booking a fishing trip with the JOLLY RODGER. Afterwards, Stop down to the infamous Calico Jacks for a taste of the best fish sandwich you’ll have on the island!Written 13 October 2024

- Angie R0 contributionsFun excursion in the Bermuda TriangleWe had Gabby and Jesse on this tour. They were pretty funny yet informative. We enjoyed them! The site of the HMS Vixen was pretty cool!! The coral was not bright and colorful like the Caribbean, but they say that is normal there. There were plenty of fish in the area. The shipwreck was neat to see as well.Written 4 October 2024

From Gabby’s and Ryan’s humor to them helping with a bit of first aid for my husband’s cut hand, and of course the yummy rum swizzle on the return trip. It was the perfect end to our first day in Bermuda!Written 26 September 2024
- Mike C0 contributionsGreat morning snorkelThe snorkeling itself was so much fun. Lots to see including two wrecks and a ton of fish swimming right up to you. The crew was very entertaining and friendly and were very attentive to everyone while in the water. Safety was very important to them. The kept the fun going during the ride back to the dock. Definitely would book again.Written 25 September 2024

This tour was so fun!! Definitely put it on your list of things to do in Bermuda! On the way to the ship wreck, the crew tells you history of the island, allows guests to ask questions and they answer them thoroughly. Ample time is spent at the wreck and floating around/over it to see the sea life under the water. Rum Swizzles and Dark & Stormy drinks are served onboard for a very fair price. Zoe, Josh, and Tyler were excellent hosts!!

I love a boat ride and with cheap rum swizzles available on board this was very nice. The boat departs from the naval dockyard which is a nice spot for shopping and restaurants. You get views of Hamilton harbor and the island from the ocean. They take you out to a sunken ship which has transformed into a reef and has great views of the coral and fish through the glass bottom. The crew of Zoe, Josh and Tyler were friendly and informative. They were full of knowledge and facts about Bermuda.

The crew was great - our son is special needs and the guide driving the boat made great conversations with both my teen children. Looking at the fish and coral was really something different and exciting I would 100 percent recommend doing this. Thank you again to the crew !!

Stop lying to people! They said there wasn't enough people for the ride at first so they changed our time from 10am to 12:30. Then at about 12:40 they came out and told us the captain never show up for work this morning. My lady was excited about the glass boat ride. But we never got to ride it. They were supposed to give me my money back! I haven't received it back yet. Just be honest with people I we could have did more if we knew the captain wasn't showing up in the first place or chose to go to the beach or tour the city more

Good morning Edward,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and we are sorry that we were not able to accommodate you on 9 October. However, I will need to sincerely refute your claims that we lied to anyone. Your 10:00 tour was indeed cancelled for lack of participation - not enough people signed up, so we could not run the tour. The 12:30 tour was ultimately cancelled because for the first time in our tenure as a company, we did not have the staff to operate the tour. The captain had made a mistake and misunderstood the schedule, and therefore was not on time for his only scheduled tour of the day. We did not cancel your 10:00 tour because of a lack of staff. This would not have been possible, as the captain scheduled to run the 12:30 was not scheduled to run the 10:00 - we have 9 boats and offer many different tours, so it does not follow that you would expect to have the same captain or crew for different departure times. I hope you can understand that for any tour boat company to have to disappoint guests and lose out on a substantial amount of ticket sales is our absolute worst case scenario, and we too were extremely disappointed to have to cancel.
With regards to your refund, Island Tour Centre, our agency, alerted Viator that we had cancelled your booking on that day, 8 October. ITC received notification from Viator on the following day that they had refunded your money. If you have indeed not received a refund, your complaint will need to be with Viator, as neither ITC nor our company are in possession of your money.
Thanks again for your feedback and we again apologise that we were not able to accomodate you.

The captain gave interesting facts about the island while making our way to the sunken ship. He crisscrossed the sunken ship many times while the first mate described the different fish and coral we were seeing below us. Very enjoyable experience.

Great tour. Lots of interesting tidbits and information. The captain was very humorous and knowledgeable. He made sure that everyone had a chance to see what he was talking about. Stories of the wildlife we are retelling to friends here at home. All extremely interesting. Lots of space below for everyone to see. Glad we went on this one.

Took my family on this boat tour and we loved it! Forrest and Zeke were our captains and they completely made the experience! They gave us so much information about the island and it’s history. It was my son’s 4th birthday and Zeke lead everyone on the boat in singing to him. Beautiful views and entertaining crew. Would definitely do this again! If the kids were a little bigger I would probably upgrade to the snorkeling but this is great if you don’t want to get in the water.

We had a very relaxing boat tour on the glass bottom boat. The views were gorgeous and the captain and guide were friendly and informative. I learned a lot about Bermuda and it’s coral and some history. As an extra bonus there were available cocktails (a little extra cost but who cares) we had a wonderful time!

Captain Sinclair and Guide Ryan were excellent hosts who gave our family an unforgettable day. This was our third time taking a glass bottom tour in Bermuda, and it was the best! We went with a large group and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you again Ryan and Capt. Sinclair (GO SOMERSET!!)

Your guide was great! Lots of laughs and great info on our tour. Guide did a great job of giving history of the island, telling us about the white roofs, and preparing us for things we may see on our excursion. If you have a chance to tour with Captain Kirk’s I HIGHLY recommend. Would 100% do again. The rum swizzles were also great!

Is this this tour appropriate for three year olds? If so, how would you book as there is no category for children less than four?

My friend and I will be on the Carnival Pride ship in September. She has limited mobility and uses a rolling walker. Would we be able to do your tour? How would we get to your point of departure?
Thanks!!

We had someone on a wheelchair on our tour and they seemed fine, just couldn't go up on the top deck . The departure point is a short walk from the ships. Took us less than 10 minutes to get from from our stateroom to the departure point.
Written 13 June 2019
No but there are delightful clean well kept ones right near the departure point.

How far is it from where the cruise ship is docked, to the Navy Dockyard?
Written 28 March 2019
It’s a short walk, as a matter of fact, the boat that took us we used Celebrity shipboard credit and booked through the ship and it picked us up right at the gangway. FYI, booking in advance gets you a discount. There were private companies, also a short walk, assuming you ship is docking at the Navy Yard and not Hamilton.

Can I bring an umbrella stroller on board. It would be folded up and not used on board.
