Barbados Shore Excursion: Atlantis Submarine Expedition

    What to Expect
After you disembark your cruise ship, make your way to the docks at Shallow Draught.

Take your seat in the air-conditioned submarine and get ready for your underwater adventure to begin. The Atlantis Submarine offers a way to get far below the surface and experience marine life in Barbados with no certifications required.

First you will submerge to about 55 feet (17 meters) and admire colorful coral reefs and marine animals, like fish and turtles, through the large windows. Throughout the 40-minute ride, the co-pilot will share knowledge about the submarine, the reef and the creatures that inhabit it.

Enjoy your complimentary drink as the submarine continues its descent all the way to about 150 feet (45 meters) to see a shipwreck, normally only accessed by scuba divers. You will be able to see this sunken treasure up-close, and observe the marine life that now inhabits the vessel. After taking in the wreck, you will resurface and be transferred back to Shallow Draught.

    Worry-free Shore Excursion:
We will ensure your excursion ends with ample time for you to return to Bridgetown for your ship’s departure. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. See our terms and conditions for full details.

Booked the trip through the ship, and it did include transport. We were on P & O and their price was cheaper than booking separately. Do watch: when a large cruise ship is in port, you will not be able to book separately... More
