About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Peter K0 contributionsNo showGuide was a no show. Waited, sent WhatsApp message. When no one came, we left after 15 minutes and returned to our ship. Worst aviator experience yet.Written 18 August 2024
- natalievU3634LD0 contributionsExcellent Fun on a Sunday Afternoon at the Races!Great guide gave us a super informative tour around the Garrison area. I had lots of fun making uninformed and fairly stupid bets on horses. The ladies in the betting booths graciously tolerated my lack of experience at the races. Fish cakes and Banks beer topped off the experience! A very fun afternoon! Oh and how could I forget - you get so close to the race track and you really feel it when they thunder by the finish line!Written 4 June 2024
- 938sarahc0 contributionsA bonus experienceBy chance we left the Museum and Historical Society just as the horseracing began. What fun to watch and lovely to walk the perimeter of the track seeing all the actionWritten 6 March 2024
- E3771WMdavidk0 contributionsSomething differentReally worthwhile experience. Mixing with locals and tourists. Would recommend. Don’t buy the VIP tickets. Better to stand on rails and sit in main standWritten 20 April 2023
- Caroline B0 contributionsMixed feelings, enjoyed races overallOur tour guide Karen was fantastic. Very knowledgeable told us a lot about the area and history. She also looked after us so well all day, especially when my husband was taken ill and collapsed due to the heat. However, we were disappointed that we did not have allocated seats in the grandstand. This may not have mattered on an ordinary race day, but this was the Gold Cup day, so it was a big problem, not Karen's fault, she was embarrassed and disappointed too. We eventually were taken to a seat for my husband after he recovered, but still he had to move again and I had to stand up for rest of the day. So, we enjoyed our day overall, the races were exciting and atmosphere great, but would suggest the tour company should ensure seats are allocated on Gold Cup day. No reflection on Karen who was so good.Written 5 March 2023
- Jadranka P0 contributionsVery enjoyable dayWe had a fantastic time. Easy to get tickets, good organisation, great seating, all in all good vibes on the venue. As we also managed to get a few winners it made our experience even better.Written 30 November 2022

- 1962globetrotter0 contributionsGood for an understanding of local historySpent an hour or so here - perhaps a good option for a rainy day if you like reading up on local history. Exhibits a bit old and dusty and probably quite boring for a child, although they seemed to have some sort of kids special exhibition room, which required prior booking. So if visiting as a family you may want to ring ahead. The only thing - which is true of many places at the moment - is the greeting you get, almost shouted at go sanitize, distance, get your temperature checked etc. I understand and appreciate the need, but there are ways of doing it without being made to feel quite so shouted at and unwelcome !Written 20 July 2021
- trottiemcqueen0 contributionsWell worth it!Just the atmosphere alone was amazing. I will definitely be going back. And it was well the money I spent.Written 3 June 2020

We stayed at Sandals (two resorts in one). The older part (where we stayed and is less crowded) was in truth a little worn. They say 5 stars but that's pushing it. Food was good but hard to get reservations at the top restaurants. We went off resort to St Lawrrence Gap (safe 15-20 min walk; cabbed home), Found a GREAT restaurant called the Harlequin.

First of all…this is like having your own private tour!!! Karen provided intricate detailed info that connects all the wonderful dots about the lovely history of Barbados! Why is there a “historic” Synagogue in the capital city…. sign up for “this” tour!! My wife and I enjoy mingling with the “locals”, and Karen weaved in the high energy of Bajan life. Thank you Karen for making my wife’s birthday weekend special!!!
By the way…… we walked from the bakery ALL THE WAY BACK TO WORTHING BEACH (by way of the coast line!!!)

We experienced a very informative and enjoyable walking tour of Bridgetown today with Karen.
She was great! Friendly and full of interesting facts, and welcomed any questions we may have had. We happened to time our walk with several downpours of rain, but this didn't detract from the excellent time we had.
Due to covid, masks were worn throughout (except the very end when we took a photo). Karen was conscientious and entertaining the whole time - thank you!

A fantastic tour with Karen! She was a most informative and entertaining guide providing not just historical fact but anecdotes too. She went out of her way to take us to the Cathedral and to ensure we knew how to get back to our hotel. Best trip in Barbados so far!

This was my second time taking the same tour with Karen. The first time I went with my best friend and second time was with my boyfriend, and both times were just as fun and informative! Karen is very knowledgable and makes history a lot of fun. She's very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to individual needs. It's a must go when coming to Barbados! I high recommend this tour, especially if it's your first time visiting the country! I'm excited to go back a third time with my family!

The tour was brilliant and perfect for a couple of hours. Karen ,our guide was superb. A bubbly, friendly lady with an amazing knowledge of Bridgetown and Barbados. She gave time to take pictures and explain things in more detail if you needed it. If you want to know the history of the place this tour is a must. We would wholly recommend this tour.

Karen was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Sensitive to my needs as a vegan, we went to the fruit and vegetable market instead of the fish market. It was great to learn so much about the history of Bridgetown from such a lovely human being. And she helped me to get the right minibus back to my hotel. Great experience, highly recommended

My husband an I have taken the Historic Walking tour today with Karen as our guide.
Karen is a real asset to Bridgetown. She is very proud of her city and extremely knowledgeable.
The tour was fascinating and it brought the architecture to life.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bridgetown.
We shared the tour with couple who were visiting for the day, on a cruise.
The 2 hours was just long enough and the pace of the tour suited all of us.

Due to COVID, my fiance and I had a private walking tour with Karen and she was absolutely amazing! I loved her energy and her excitement to share the wonderful history of Barbados. She showed us some great hole in the wall places for food and souvenirs we wouldn't have learned about without this tour. My finance and I had a great time with Karen exploring Bridgetown. Tips: Wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and wear LOTS of sunscreen!!

Got wonderful information and sight seeing from our tour guide. She was friendly, interactive and so considerate as well as knowledgeable. If you like to know where is where and what is what and why it’s like that, this is a great tour to do. It will help you navigate the area on your own if you decide to come back and help you find the best places to shop and eat.

Where exactly do we meet up the rep to start the walk. We are on a cruise and the e-ticket says departure point Deep Water Harbour, Princess Alice Highway. Can anyone help by saying where we go specifically. Are we looking for a shop travel tours or Someone holding a placard? I’ve tried phoning but get no answer. Many thanks for any response. David
