About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Billr4560 contributionsExactly RightToured four square and Mt gay tasting room. Picked up and dropped off at Seabreeze Beach House. They answered email about pickup as Seabreeze not on their drop down list. Pick up on time Dexter the driver kept up entertaining patter throughout the drive. Two other hotel stops made. Vehicle clean ac worked fine. Tour of four square facility and fair sampling of their premium rums ( not most pricey) just right amount of presentation about fermenting and distilling. Cross island drive to Mt Gay tasting room. Dexter kept talking. Presentation at Mt Gay similar to four square except no walk through production facilities (is ok, similar look) Nice little movie and really good conducted tasting at Mt gay. Drop off back at hotel on timeWritten 30 November 2024

- Rod19650 contributionsA really enjoyable tour of the IslandWe asked for a Tour of the Island visiting the West, North, East & South coasts, stopping at a few key attractions and also a lunch stop. Scott our guide delivered everything we asked for with a great commentary as he drove us around. Highlight of the tour was the visit to the Foursquare Rum Distillery including a tasting session.Written 27 November 2024

Learned a lot about rum production on Barbados and how done at both Four Square and Mount Gay. Our driver for the tour, Dexter, was fun and engaging and informative. Tamika at Four Square was a great tour hostess with a lot of information and guiding us through a fun tasting experience. Larissa at Mount Gay was also a great hostess and really made a fun time during our tasting experience. Highly recommend…..just be careful on the sampling.Written 1 November 2024

- Dpkai650 contributionsPrivate 4-hour tour for twoMy wife and I booked this tour prior to arriving in Barbados on the Trip Advisor site. The purchase was quick, easy, and you are able to pick your day for the tour at purchase. We were able to contact Williams Tours prior to the day of the tour and confirm a pickup time and stops we would like to make during the tour. We were picked up at our hotel on time. climbed into the van and we were on or way. Our driver was Rooster, and he was awesome. Good driver, very fun personality and full of interesting information about our planned stops and all along the route we travelled. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone. A great way to see and learn about Barbados. If we are ever back on island, we would definitely book this tour again.Written 21 September 2024

- JanBonJovi0 contributionsGreat time tasting rumWe had a great morning out visiting both sites. Our tour guide Dexter was very informative and even brought us all some banana bread. As well as the rum visits, he even showed us a few extra places on our journey. Highly recommend but make sure you have a good breakfast first as you get to taste quite a few rums.Written 16 July 2024

You won’t understand Barbados from your resort. Get out with Scott (born & bred Bajan) in his air conditioned minibus and bluetoothed headset to learn about flora, fauna, history, society, religion, culture, geography, food (lunch included), climate, drink (a free rum punch, proper stuff) and anything else that you want know.
If you want to see sea-eroded caves, windmills for crushing sugar cane, appreciate race tracks (horses and cars), understand how many variety of snakes live in the island, why houses are built the way they are, how to plant banana trees, how letters get delivered where there are no addresses, why breadfruit might be the cash crop of the future, despite Non-Disclosure Agreements who’s doing what to who, Scott’s yer man.
Not interested in who Abramovich visits, where Princess Margaret’s house was, why people dumped their rubbish on top of Quakers’ family vaults, where they banged up Jerry Hall in the cells, why the largest Jewish cemetery in the Caribbean is in Bridgetown, how many polo fields there are on Barbados, why Simon Cowell’s and Andrew Lloyd Weber’s houses went down the pan, why you need to know much sugar has been added to the rum you are buying, why the Bajan Prime Minister and the Greek Royal Family are buried in different directions in the same churchyard, get someone to check your temperature again cos you’re probably no longer with us.
For USD87, buy yourself an education about the Island or just sit back and enjoy the different geography of the Island’s parishes.

We enjoyed the tour but slightly disappointed
Raquel the tour organiser was great however we paid online for Harrison Cave and Hunte's Garden and the service was not value for the money we spent.
Che was the tour leader at the Harrison Cave ,he was knowledgeable and the Cave is worth to go as its amazing however when we finished the tour nobody knew where to go and we were about to follow a different tour...
we finally went outside to see our driver rushing us to the bus and gave us 5 min for souvenirs and drive us to the Hunte's Garden which was 15 min away and we stayed an hour to look around. i would recommend.
We paid for tour including drinks and snacks which we had a tiny slice of banana cake and rum punch which myself and my partner don't drink alcohol,
Slightly disappointed as no soft drink or water was offered.
William Tour seems a lack of coordination for what we paid,

Hi. Thank you for your feedback again. As we discussed prior to this review, Sprite, Coke and water are served on every tour and was available also that day. I agreed with you that the guide should have made the offer of these drinks and this was an oversight on his part but he would certainly had given you if you had asked. We have taken your feedback about the snack stop back to the guides to discuss and improve where needed. The cost of the tour is calculated on way more expenses than the snack stop and Williams Tours tries its best to keep our tours reasonable and still give good customer service and not compromise and being able to show the best of what Barbados has to offer. Note that the entrance fees are included in this tour. Happy that you enjoyed Barbados on the whole.

This tour covered two of the natural highlights of Barbados - Harrisons Cave and Huntes Garden in half a day giving time to do something else as well on a day stop on the island.
The trip was well organised, the Rooster (our driver/guide) well informed, easy to understand and fun.
There was enough time in each place and we didn't have to suffer the usual obligatory stop at a shopping outlet. Hurrah!
Cheaper than the ship a d well worth it.

The caves were amazing and the whole experience well organised. Kyle was a fantastic guide.
Hunter’s gardens were beautiful. Not as big as expected but such a lot of tropical planting in a tiny space was unexpected.
Our driver was a lovely man (I’m sorry I can’t remember his name). His wife’s banana bread and the rum punch a real treat.

The general layout and experience of the ste can not be faulted, nor the trip into the caves.
The staff were excellent and deserved all the qudos that they recieved while carrying out their duties within the caves. After our visit in the caves we stopped for some refreshments in the beautiful garden areas thinking about relaxing with some food and drinks.
We found the out of character loud and obtrusive disco rhythm music overpowering and must unwelcom after such a tranquil journey in the caves. We mentioned to the staff that surely with such a fantastic setting in the tropical area this style of music (setting for a nightly disco would have been more in line)
The area required quite (if any background music) And just to have taken a few moments to feel the great serenity of the settings

Thanks for taking the time to send a review. The Caves are an attraction outside of our business, but I have sent on this review to them. It is a very fair comment and trust this will be addressed. I do hope you enjoyed the rest of your tour and holiday in Barbados.

Rooster was our driver, friendly, funny and entertaining. It was clear he loves his home island of Barbados! We had rented a car for a couple of days and did the usual shoreline sights, Bathsheba, Animal Flower, etc. Rooster gave us an additional drive more interior, which was very interesting. And, Harrison's Cave was amazing! There's Garden made me envious, I want that in my backyard! Definitely a must see trip with the Rooster leading the way!!

Williams Tours Barbados absolutely saved my life! I booked a tour with another company at the beginning, but they cancelled my tour without my approval because they refused to pick me up. So, I booked the Harrison’s Cave and Hunte’s Garden tour with Williams Tours. They provided me the pick up service and the tour guide Rooster even arrived earlier than the scheduled time. Rooster was very nice, patient, professional, positive and knowledgeable! He shared the history, current and future information about the island. He also entertained us super well! Played jokes and sang songs! I really enjoyed the tour! Really! The other company pissed me off! But, Rooster saved my life!

This trip was fantastic from start to end. Rooster was our driver, and what a character!..very knowledgeable and so polite. The caves were really well organised but don’t forget to sign the waiver form otherwise entry not allowed. Hunte’s Gardens were the best I’ve seen anywhere!..tranquil and so colourful. No nasty little midges either. The great man himself gave a short talk whilst we drank a rum punch. The return journey was informative and a stop off at the White Lion monument for a photo shot, rum punch and delicious banana bread. A very pleasant day, couldn’t fault it!

What a great review! Good advice on those Harrison Cave waivers. It saves a lot of time. Hunte's Gardens is so magical and we are glad you appreciated it as much as we do. the Lion is one of my favourite's as its nostalgic. From young I've been climbing that lion and taking pictures. Thanks!

I wasn’t sure what to expect but was really happy with the day. Scott and the additional guides were amazing. So friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I was actually gutted when the tour ended. A perfect length of time to experience the cave, gardens and a small viewing spot. A brilliant day out. Thanks to all the team. Raquel was also so helpful on watsap and kept us informed at all stages. We had an amazing day and 100% use Williams Tours again.

Rooster was an excellent tour guide. Gave us a lot of local history and made sure we were taken care of at each stop. Picked us up when he said he would and provided a light snack and drinks. Highly recommend this excursion.
