About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Coastal083705708540 contributionsUnderwhelming experience for a family out in CuracaoTried the experience as a family of six (2 adults, 4 kids). We chose the option of being picked up at the Dreams Resort because we did not rent a car. Tripadvisor said that it was $20 per person, which seemed a little steep. Worst yet, when we arrived at the activity the operator was extremely pushy about an additional $10 because our hotel was apparently further away. Tripadvisor did not say anything about this. When I questioned the additional fee there was no explanation. Definitely felt like the operator of the tour was all about the money and the fees. The driver that picked us up was also the tour guide was nice. He is the reason that I am giving this tour three stars and not two. He explained to all of us how to operate the machines and how to stay safe, putting my kids at ease. Overall, the price of the activity was pretty expensive given the fact that you only get an hour for the jet skiing but the biggest frustration was the bait and switch with the transportation costs and poor hospitality with the exception of our tour guide. The location was out of the way and consisted of a little hut next to a bay. Surprising for a tour that charges such high fees.Written 26 November 2024
- 914stacies0 contributionsGreat Taste of Curacao Island LifeMy Mom and I came to Curacao on a cruise and wanted to experience the island from a local's perspective. I sent a message to Adventure Tours after hours the day before we arrived and I received a response quickly! Even though it was last minute, the owner, Paul, was very accommodating and offered us a jet ski and snorkel adventure for the next morning. We were promptly picked up at the cruise terminal by our super friendly, enthusiastic guide Job. The jet ski ride through Spanish Waters was so fun and you can't beat jumping in the ocean to snorkel over a reef! Thankfully I didn't fling Mom off the back with my crazy driving! After the ride, we still had time in our day so Job recommended Kokomo Beach. He arranged to give us a ride and we got some interesting commentary on Curacao along the way, plus great restaurant recommendations. Kokomo was the perfect spot to swim and catch some rays with a cold beer. This was by far a much better experience than a crowded cruise excursion. Mom and I really enjoyed the Curacao island life for a day!Written 12 November 2024
- madisonf8170 contributionsMust do tour !Very fun experience. Felt very safe and the explanation was very clear. Yens was a very great guide. I felt safe and comfortable even though it was my first time on a jet ski. Would do again if I’m in town.Written 9 November 2024
- elizabethcJ2019VO0 contributionsWe had a wonderful time.We had a wonderful time with Tob as our tour guide. He was very kind and informative. The jet skis are very nice, big, and easy to ride. The views were beautiful. I would suggest getting your own jet ski so you can go at your preferred speed and to take more photos. I got a little motion sickness from sitting behind my boyfriend, but my bf had a blast going full throttle and zig zagging around. We got to switch during the ride, which was fun. I would 100% book another tour with Adventure Tours Curaçao again.Written 2 October 2024
- Michelle E0 contributionsUnorganized jet skisUnorganized. Never responded to messages. Didn’t get the full hour, waited for them to gas up jet ski and to do safety briefing even though we arrived a half hour earlier as requested. Jet skis were newer and in good condition. Their priority was the safety of our group which we appreciated. Seas were rough but manageable. When we were down they walked away and never acknowledged us again. Was a strange experience.Written 15 September 2024

- creambery020 contributionsThe cutest little get awayWe booked this trip while we were still on vacation and thankfully we did. This little curaçao island was perfect for the day. The ride out is super fast but choppy waters. The ride back was fantastic! Elvis and Jack sparrow were amazing and super funny. You can explore the island and then relax on the beach. Food was okay, unless you are a picky eater. Bring towels and lots of sunscreen! Also a camera for underwater.Written 29 August 2024

- 148najat0 contributionsCommunication IssueHorrible communication. They moved the day of our tour and then canceled our trip with no notice. We had to call 30 minutes before the tour after zero communication and were told that all tours this day were canceled due to "maintenance". This is after days of trying to reach out to management and getting no response.Written 22 July 2024
- Clairewilkens0 contributionsDo not book! Awful communicationI booked this tour and they sent me a message the night before that it was changed to another day and they offered a full refund if I wasn’t able to make it. Unfortunately after I told them I wasn’t able to make it on the date they rebooked they stopped answering completely (I followed up 3 times in 48 hours during the regular business week). I am throughly disappointed with the communication of this company and would recommend going with another company. We ended up rebooking with another company on a day that worked for us and it was Breeze Adventures and it was extremely lovely and I highly recommend using Breeze Adventures.Written 26 June 2024
- P9047QUaudreyc0 contributionsAmazing Snorkel Day with the best Captain and Deck HandAbsolutely amazing day! Our best day yet on our cruise. Paul and Elvis’ hospitality was superb. We saw so many beautiful fish and coral as well. The boat ride itself was so fun for our teens and young 20s with getting to sit up top and on the front as well. Probably the best part was Elvis’ attention to every little detail with food, drinks, keeping the boat clean etc. Just an absolute class act!Written 22 May 2024

- M8279DGmichaelc0 contributionsAwesome First Time Jetskii Experience!Awesome first time jetskii experience! I booked a one hour guided jet ski tour with Adventure Tours, and I was greeted by Paul once we arrived. Paul’s instruction on how to operate the jet skiis was very informative and thorough. He made sure to outline the safety concerns, hand signals, and address all of our questions before we began our excursion. The jet skiis we used were in great condition, and appeared brand new. Jordan, the guide who led the tour, allowed us to get familiar with the controls of the jet ski before we ventured off to the Spaanse Waters. The route to the Spaanse Waters was a little bit scary because the ocean current was a lot wavier than expected, and when I felt that I was not able to keep up with the rest of the group, Tony (another guide from the tour) stayed behind me and gave me advice on how to keep better control of the jet ski and keep up with the speed of the group. Once we made it to the Spaanse Waters, we passed by the Sandals resort and got to see some of the beautiful dockside homes and elevated terrain of Curaçao. The waters were a lot calmer in the Spaanse Waters, and I felt by this point the entire group established a nice flow. I felt a lot more confident with using the jet ski by this point as well. Along the way, Tony was checking up on me and everyone else, making sure that anyone who slowed down or fell behind was comfortable to get back on the route with the group. I am super grateful for the reassurance along the way, and I had a thrilling first time experience!Written 7 February 2024

Booked through Vacations to Go (TA), while in port on a cruise. Meet time was supposed to be 1320, at 1345 no pickup. Very nice security person at cruise terminal phoned the company for us, then we were finally picked up. Business location has seen better times, looked like a place where old jet skis go to die! Double kayak was fine, but like other reviews have stated fairly tough paddle around dry docked oil rigs to a very rocky beach, only mask and snorkel, no fins to view a sunken ship. Chairs and bathrooms on beach but at an additional cost. Teenage guide with minimal knowledge of area and Sights. Rude manager, but very pleasant driver. Would recommend trying a different tour.

Dear Marcus, we thank you for your feedback. You booked a tour that did not fit you cruiseship time schedule as we had to adjust to make it work so you could be back on time at your ship and would not loose your money. When you came back you wanted us to have a taxi bring you at our expense immediately to the ship and did not want to wait the 15 minutes for the other guests to join. As you were told we would have you back at your ship on time, and we did, you arrived 4.35pm, your on board time was 5.30, and according to your reservation we should have dropped you 6pm at your ship. Chairs are not included in the price. The sunken tugboat is considered the #1 snorkel spot and it is. You went out on a very calm day, the people that said that it was though peddling did that with 3-4 feet waves, not the less then 1 feet waves you had. As for the jetskis, if you have knowledge of jetskis you would have noticed that for the tours we use 10 new GTX Pro Seadoos 155 hp, model 2023/2024. The older Yamahas are out of service:) and not used and stored away from the guests. You were the last persons for the day and even had a VIP tour as you had your private guide but we will check with him what he mentioned about the surroundings and improve where possible. Thank you for your feedback. Best regards, Paul

We booked excursions for our cruise literally days before our arrival. I had been googling best excursions and by far this was worth it. I'll start from the beginning. We did not book this tour through the cruise ship, we booked this on our own. We were sent by taxi to Adrenaline's "headquarters" on the bay. The taxi ride was a little "sketchy" - in that we had to tell the taxi driver where to take us when we thought he knew where he was taking us. Once we arrived it was my husband, myself, the tour guide and another man. It was literally a private tour. The kayaking was across the bay into the wind - it was a little tough, but being in a double kayak helped. We went to an old fort and walked around that and took some pictures from the top. We then kayaked to the beach where the tugboat was located. I was incredibly surprised by the amount of fish that were around the tugboat. I was not anticipating what a wonderful experience it was going to be. Truly incredible. I appreciate everyone elses reviews who say this is the best experience on the island. I am so happy we did it. When we kayaked back across the bay it was like surfing b/c the wind was to our backs. Dayvon was our "tour guide" and he was WONDERFUL. He was incredibly patient and assisted us the entire time and answered all my questions about the island. My only suggestion to the company would be to offer the inflatable vests. I am personally not the best swimmer. So once we started swimming back to shore (which really wasn't too far out) I swapped between swimming on my back and looking for more fish. But don't take my inability to swim to miss this incredibly opportunity to snorkel among hundreds and hundreds of beautiful fish.

This excursion was terrible. You will kayak along side an industrial wasteland. It looks like a huge abandoned oil drill right near where you will snorkel. The very small beach that you will land on prior to snorkeling is dirty and full of rocks. I stepped on an old rusty nail that luckily did not go all the way through my water shoes. (Please wear water shoes.) The sunken ship was okay and there are some colorful fish/coral. Our tour was supposed to finish 15 minutes after the speed boat tour. Instead, the speedboat tour ended 1 hour after our tour. We had to sit in the sun and wait for them to return with no snacks or beverages. We asked if they could call us a tab (at our expense) and they refused. They kept saying it would be 10 more minutes. It was an hour. We ended up not having time to see the town of Curacao after the tour because we were so late getting back. Very unprofessional.

We paid extra to get a lift from our cruise ship to their venue. Our ticket said 9 am. We got out there at 8:40 and waited 30 minutes. Another tour operator called for us and they said we were supposed to be out at 8:30. They said we could grab a taxi and hurry to catch up. We said we quit.

Dear guest,
We picked up all the other guest at 8.30 and as you were not their left. We asked if you could get a taxi at our costs, we would wait for you to catch up. We tried to be flexible even tough we could not find you and if you would have taken the taxi you still would have been able to do the whole tour as there was enough time for you to get to the office on time and join the others.

We had a wonderful day on Curacao with Adrenaline Tours. The guides were wonderful and took excellent care of us. We discovered on the way over to the snorkeling that my husband's back did not respond well to kayaking and the guys took him back in their kayak so that he could lay flat. In addition to wonderful guides, the snorkeling was fabulous! I have heard so much about the diving in Curacao and people were not lying! All in all, I can't say enough wonderful things about this group.

Four of us did the kayak and snorkel tour and loved it. The staff were professional and helpful; we had a fantastic guide and enjoyed ourselves very much. The kayak across the bay wasn’t bad at all as seas were relatively calm. The snorkeling was some of the best we’ve had in he Caribbean with lots of interesting fish and coral. Highly recommend.

Should probably begin this review by apologising to the 4 other couples who joined my husband and I on this tour: Turns out we are terrible kayakers and we’re grateful that you managed to put up with us for the trip 😂 But it was still an enjoyable day and we all laughed about it in the end... once we were safely back on dry land of course.
So, my husband and I booked this tour through TUI as part of a cruise excursion.
Firstly, unlike others, we had no issues finding the tour guides. The details were printed on our tickets delivered to our cabins by the ship and the guides were where we were told they would be, at the correct time.
We snorkel often and had kayaked in Thailand (albeit it in a calm lagoon, not open water) and therefore thought this trio was the best of both worlds.
The kayaking on the way out was TOUGH. We were not expecting to have to kayak in the open sea or in what I considered to be very rough water with the waves against us.
Now, just because we didn’t particularly enjoy this aspect, I haven’t marked the tour down because at the end of the day, we were rubbish. But other couples were very good, coped well and seemed to enjoy it. It’s just something to be mindful of if booking the tour, especially if you’re a first time kayaker.
Our guides were great, very helpful and knowledgeable about the island and the various sights we were passing as we kayaked to the snorkelling area.
They were also very patient with us which was great, because had I been a guide trying to work with my husband and I, I probably would have ditched us both at sea!
The snorkelling area was nice and the water calm. There was a ship wreck and a small variety of fish - however we have snorkelled in many other destinations both in the Caribbean and Asia and I wouldn’t personally put this snorkelling location in my Top 10.
Some of the enjoyment for me was also taken away from the snorkelling with the knowledge that we still had to kayak back to shore at some point - granted this was slightly easier as the waves were with us rather than against us.
Overall, it was an experience that we will not forget - we wouldn’t choose to do it again but that’s down to us, not the tour or the guides.
I would absolutely recommend this tour to people who are more confident in their kayaking abilities or being in open water.

Considering that we had never kayaked before, we did really well. You should understand ahead of time (we did not) that open water can mean 2-3 foot seas which is a lot of work. The sights along the way were "okay". The "hotel" for the drilling crew was an old rusty piece of drill rig that was very unsightly. The fort looked cool. The beach from which we went snorkeling was not a nice sandy area. The water is full of slippery stones ready to make you fall and sprain your ankle all while the waves come crashing in. They did not provide fins as advertised so the swim to the snorkeling area and back was very slow and tedious. It was a fairly nice area once you arrived, but it was not uncrowded as advertised. There were at least five different groups climbing all over each other. And some stupid divers touching all of the coral and sponges on the wreck.
They had taken out their maximum number of people and didn't have sufficient crew to assist us back into the water. I got knocked down by other clumsy kayakers not paying attention and then had the kayak rammed into my chin by the waves because of those slippery rocks.
Now, we did take a spill on the way back. That's okay, kayaks turn over. We followed instructions on how to re-enter the kayak but couldn't with our bulky life jackets. They did come to our rescue in short order. However, the kayak had no rigging on the bow with which to tow it. They spent considerable time trying to rig something that would work. It took several attempts and they finally put me on the jet ski and towed my husband's kayak and the guide's back to harbor. Backwards. Not a get idea but the only way they could hook them up to tow. Lesandro towed them all with the jet ski and really seemed to know his stuff. We were nearly an hour late. Our companions were very concerned and waited for us rather than returning to the ship without us. They did make arrangements to get us back and all ended well.
They took too many people out and were very disorganized. I do feel that the crew was competent, merely out-gunned. The beach was a terrible place to put us and no flns made the snorkeling less than it should have been.

This is a fun and exciting kayak tour really gets the adrenaline going, just difficult enough to make it fun. I’ll be honest, it was a bit disorganized, a lot of waiting fo this or for that, and there was only 30 minutes to snorkel. So really this trip is about the kayaks, and that part was fun! The tour over to the snorkel location isn’t necessarily he prettiest tour (large oil drilling related vessels) but it is part of the historical significant parts of the island.
