- jtajacobs0 contributionsDidn’t happenE-bike tour, no one showed up for the transfer to take us to the tour, we waiting 1.5 hours for the pick up. We walked to the city and walked around ourselves and ate dinner. Got a refund the next day.Written 21 July 2024
- LVworldTraveler0 contributionsWonderful experience. Great for all agesA wonderful experience. Exceeded our expectations. The guide was informative and fun. We saw many types of colorful fish and some turtles. He was very engaging with the young children on the boat. The boat departs from The Dreams Resort dock, so no long shuttle rides. Well worth a couple hours of your vacation.Written 4 June 2024
- lilou68120 contributionsTurtles and Coco Nuts !Well organized. Very nice Beaches. Was amazing swimming with the turtles and the tons of colored fishes! We recommend this trip.Written 6 May 2024
- 868regm0 contributionsHotel transferThey provided the transfer from the airport to the hotel and back. When we got to the hotel, the bus driver got up and started talking like a mouse to the people at the front with music playing in the background. If you were past row 5 or so, you had to guess what he was saying. Luckily, we guessed right. This was our first and a good indication of how service people in Curaçao operate.Written 3 May 2024
- Paradise346804888470 contributionsBeach Day Vibes 🤙The beach escape was lovely and our tour guides were very pleasant and informative, we felt very comfortable and taken care of during our day trip and the stops we visited were incredible! I only wish we had more time to stay at each location but all in all it was a perfect day :)Written 28 April 2024
- Sandy W0 contributionsCuraçao Island tour with Hetty and DanielOur tour guide Hetty was absolutely amazing. Very informative and interesting. Her knowledge of the history of the island was extensive. She spoke very clearly and answered any question asked. Daniel our driver was an experienced driver for sure. He too was pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend this tour.Written 13 April 2024

- Wander117114095210 contributionsHighly recommend this tour! The entire day was quite memorable. Our guide Anita and our driver (can't remember her name) were outstanding. For those few of us who only speak English, Anita made sure she explained everything for us. Also impressed with the luncheon meal served up in part by our bus crew! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!Written 12 March 2024
- A3011QClorid0 contributionsIsland TourI wanted a tour that would cover most of Curacao. This tour did it. The tour started off slow as we had to puck everyone up but then just got more interesting as the day progressed. Curacao is truly a beautiful island so make sure you see as much as you can.Written 1 March 2024
- fantar060 contributionsEnjoyable day in CuracaoVery interesting tour. Enough time between stops and photo opportunities. Our tour guide Jacqueline was a wealth of information.Written 17 February 2024
- O698BZjaneb0 contributionsInformative and enjoyable day tourFrom pick-up to return our driver Tindoo and guide Hetty were most helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the area. The driver assisted my husband on and off the bus with his walking disability at every stop with kindness and humour.Hetty had to interpret for the guests in Dutch and English most capably and patience with many questions. Her information and knowledge of the history of the island was very impressive. The lunch which was included at a local traditional restaurant was a treat. We recommend this tour and feel it is good value for the price. Ask for Hetty!Written 16 February 2024
- Travel307605118100 contributionsBest airport transfer ever.Finding the booth was a little challenging but once we were at the correct booth everything went flawless. The bus was very clean, modern and to our surprise empty. The short ride to the hotel was smooth and quick.Written 15 February 2024

The city is divided in to two parts by the St. Anna Bay. On the left on entering the bay is the Punda (The Point) and on the right is the Otrobanda (Outside). The two side are linked by Queen Emma pontoon bridge which moves sideways to let marine traffic through. It was the only direct link between the two sides until the Queen Juliana Bridge was built in 1974, at 185 foot high it is the highest bridge in the Caribbean. Two forts, one on either side of the inlet were built to defend the city. Amsterdam Fort on the Punda, built in 1735, has fended off Spain, France, Germany, England and Venezuela; a cannonball fired by Captain Bligh is still embedded in one of the walls.
The Punda is a maze of narrow streets with markets, cafès, museums, cathedrals and Synagogues; all painted in many different colours.as constructed in 1974, at 185 foot high it is the highest bridge in the Caribbean. The Curaçoans have accepted their heritage of the peoples who migrated Europe to escape religious persecution. Jews from Spain and France, Huguenots Protestants from France and slave traders from rest of Europe. Their house have been preserved beautifully. On crossing the Queen Emma Pontoon bridge to the Otrabanda the colourfully painted buildings were previous maritime buildings, many have been converted in to luxury hotels.

Nice tour through Willemstad. Lots of historic information. Unfortunately we were not able to go inside Fort Amsterdam because of a protest, but it was still a great tour.

Our beautiful Punda and Otrobanda are rich in history, with buildings and colors that tell countless stories. We're thrilled that we could translate these stories into valuable information for you. We hope to see you again, and perhaps next time, you'll have the opportunity to explore the inside of Fort Amsterdam.

They cancelled last minute on us. I guess not enough people to interest them. We walked around the town. Nice spot....cruise ships in so busy. But a few forts and sights to see. Walking bridge is unique.

We're really sorry for any inconvenience this unexpected cancellation may have caused. It's not something we do often, but sometimes unforeseen situations arise. We're just glad you had the chance to explore our wonderful city! Hopefully, next time around, we'll get to show you all the great spots.

This way you learn something about the history and the environment. Even without a guide, you just walk past beautiful things and you don't get the historical background. Recommended.
