From the start we knew it was going be great! Our driver Carlos who is also our Puerto Plata guide during our stay made sure our experience was memorable in this beautiful location of Cayo Arena. He dropped us off, the guides on site who will be joining you give you best then you get on a small boat to Cayo Arena. A 20min water trip. Our guide stopped and showed us a natural pool in the ocean who was very cool. Once arriving at Cayo Arena you are embraced by clear turquoise water on clean sands. A breathtaking experience and view. When you return, a feat of rice beans, a selection of chicken or fish with salad. Don’t forget the Presidente. I booked Eric tours for a snorkel and beach excursion. Unfortunately, due to a bad weather the tour had to be canceled. Nevertheless, I’d like to give them 5 stars for a great communication experience. Starting from the initial contact and all the way through the day of the cancelled tour I was kept informed and updated. All my questions were answered promptly. I will definitely book them again next time I stop in DR

Booked this with friends, book the full experience 3/4hrs as plenty time to enjoy it Off roading brilliant fun,expect to get very muddy,,stopped for cold beer then onto beautiful beach to get wash down and chill,then back on it again Very helpful staff.

This trip was an amazing deal for all we got. It was fancy and it didn’t need to be. Our guide took us to three different spots to snorkel where we were surrounded by all kinds of fish and even saw a sea turtle! He took over 90 photos of us above and below water and they were sent to us at no additional charge. After we were done snorkeling we had the chance to rinse off and then were able to sit on the beach under umbrellas enjoying some good food and drinks. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this tour. My kids especially loved petting the dog and cats roaming around. Thank you again for such a great excursion. 1000% would recommend to everyone who goes to the Dominican Republic.

We went on this cruise for my birthday while in Puerto Plata and had an amazing time. The crew was very nice and entertaining. They made the whole ride fun. We got to get in the ocean drink and eat. They even had a slide on the boat that you can slide down into the water. The crew was amazing everyone had fun it was a great experience. I definitely recommend.

This experience was great. My entire group was amazing and tour guide Josias worked so hard to make sure we have a blast. He deserves a raise how hard he worked! The only thing that I didn’t like was how far the walk was from the port to the meet.

Such an amazing experience with knowledgeable staff. They took the guess work out of this experience and made it amazing. For my daughter in law, she was fearful of going in the water but after Franklyn’s explanation we were able to convince her to get in. She does not regret it! :) they provided transportation to and from our air bnb and provided beach umbrellas and chairs for us to linger on the beach after we were done. Food was top notch and the staff were so accommodating! 10/10 definitely recommend.

Joined the Catamaran Party Cruise while on a cruise ship stop in Puerto Plata. They picked us up from the port as promised and drove us to the boat. The snorkeling was just ok, a smaller reef. It was a solid 30 minute drive to the boat from the cruise ship port. However, the overall experience was a blast. All of the tour guides were a lot of fun and very helpful. The BBQ lunch was amazing. In addition to snorkeling the boat has a diving board and slide that everyone enjoyed. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing tour. Since booking, it has been amazing. As soon as we booked, Lotta was very communicative. The day that we arrived at the port, Richard was already waiting for us. We were a party over eight so the minivan was just for us then when we got to the tour location, there were two guides ready to take us out. The guides were amazing and funny. They took tons of pics underwater which was a great perk. To make it more amazing was that they knew it was my birthday and they surprised us at the beach with an authentic Dominican cake. Highly recommended tour.

Booked this excursion outside of the cruise line. Directions very clear on where and when to meet. Guides were organized and on time. We had 3 kids ages 7,13, and 14 with only 2 adult so the staff was able to take our third child in the buggy with them. We were very grateful for this! The tour was a total of 2 hours on the buggy. We had a stop at a small gift shop and tried some Dominican coffee, chocolate, and mamajuana. We then headed to a small beach area. The tour was very fun and muddy! You will get very dirty and soaking wet so be prepared. Lots of fun and would do again!

DO NOT BOOK. Def not worth the price… u mainly drive on either the main rd thru a neighborhood or on the side of the main road in a trash filled ditch… u go thru 1 “mud “ experience.. but it’s really more trash then anything.. and the beach isn’t anything special. The trip was 90mins in total and that’s with 30 mins at the beach to eat.

I definitely wouldn’t have gone in this excursion if I understood what it was really like. You are not doing a dune buggy in the jungle you are driving through the literally street water of Puerto Plata. There are some more rural areas that you drive through as well but then you’re at risk for getting cow poo flying in your face as you’re driving through the mud. It’s more unsanitary and disgusting than like fun dirty mud. There is one part where you drive through a pond and where you go to the beach and can get some local food. I will say this is probably the best part of it.

We had a great time. The crew were very friendly and treated us well. I would recommend to anyone that loves adventure. You will get dirty and covered in mud so dress accordingly.
