Anders als erwartet
Wir haben den Ausflug aus Puerto Plata, Playa Dorada begonnen. Von dort aus würde ich den Ausflug nicht nocheinmal starten, da die Fahrt bis Samana rund 4h dauerte. Der Reisebegleiter hat während der Fahrt ein paar interessante Dinge erzählt und die Leute zum lachen gebracht. Frühstück als kleine Pause war natürlich dabei. Angekommen sind wir auf einem kleinen Katamaran mit 60 Leuten aufs Meer gefahren. Es hat ein bisschen gebraucht aber im Endeffekt konnten wir Wale beobachten. Vor der Buchung sollte man wissen, dass die Katamarane sehr zügig über das Meer peitschen. Die Bacardi Insel war grundsätzlich sehr schön. Auch da bitte vormerken, das täglich mehrere Hunderte Touristen anreisen und die Insel dementsprechend sehr befüllt ist. Insgesamt dauerte der Ausflug dann 13,5h.. Ich denke bei einer Buchung aus einem nahe gelegenem Ort zu Samana macht der Ausflug mehr Sinn. Grundsätzlich aber völlig okay für den Preis.
