Went on local food tour with my daughter that hit 4 authentic island cuisine locations. There were no tour buses at the places we visited which we appreciated. The guide (whose name I forgot) arrived on time in vehicle that he equipped w/ a cooler of beverages and hand cleaners. He was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak with on a variety of topics. The tour was very informative and enjoyable. I highly recommend it! Steve

Charles, our Jamaican Tour Guide, was absolutely fantastic, he was accommodating and entertaining and leaving our group wanting for more. We were a total of 8 with 4 kids, and we felt so safe and looked after. Our sight seeing through Negril, from the Royalton Resort where we were staying, on our way to Rick’s Cafe, was just as much a highlight of our tour thanks to Charles. You’re never certain of your experience when booking tours but we are so grateful to Charles and Your Jamaican Tour guide, and will be sure to book again on our next visit.

We found these guys on our visit last year, when Charles took us on the absolutely excellent Negril food tour. So returning to Jamaica this year, there was only one choice for tours and airport transfers! And it was totally the right decision. We used them for transfers and two days of tours (Martha Brad Rafting/Luminous Lagoon and Mayfield Falls). The various guides/drivers (Charles, Marc and Wayne) were each absolutely brilliant. Great conversation and we learned so much about the island and its nature. Safe driving in comfortable Land Cruisers, great admin in advance and whilst in country. If you want intelligent, interesting wonderful experiences - these are your guys.

We vote Alrick as the #1 tour guide in Jamaica! He had us laughing during the entire tour, it was like we had a new best friend. We did a Taste Tour with him and learned so much. The Jerk chicken and the chicken patty with coco bread were my favorite - make sure to put the patty in the cocoa bread like a sandwich - omg, so good. My husband loved the stop at the Rasta shop and the fresh juice drinks. Book a tour with Alrick, and it will be the best part of your entire trip! I promise :-)

Our tour guide was Mark. He was great! He was kind, patient, funny and made good conversation. We went for my Aunt's birthday and she had an amazing time driving through the towns on the way to Negril. It was not rushed and I liked the privacy and service of the tour. We got some amazing food and pictures too.

Dunno river was beautiful. It was on my bucket list of places to visit and it lived up to my expectations. I am a single woman traveling and felt completely safe and comfortable. Mark was a great guide for the day.

We decided to add a second tour to our trip (we did the Dunns Tour with this company as well) and went with the Taste Tour with Alrick—it was hands-down one of the best decisions we made! As a foodie, this was everything. We hit four or five stops (I was too busy enjoying myself to keep track), and every single one was amazing. We started with fresh fruit and coconut water straight from the coconut—so refreshing! Breakfast was next, but no pancakes! We had brown stew chicken, and Salt mackerel, yam , potato and pumpkin. Then we went to a Rastafarian food spot and I loved their fresh juices. Then we got patties and coco bread, I got the chicken patty. We also grabbed some banana bread to take back with us, though it didn’t last long once we got back. What made the trip even better was Alrick himself. He was a fun guide, sharing stories about herbs, Jamaican culture, and even what it was like growing up. One of my favorite stories was about how, for Christmas, his family would buy a goat and use every single piece of it—even making goat head soup. Our two tours were the best part of our vacation. I highly recommend this tour if you want to experience Jamaican food and culture and have great company.

If you're considering visiting Dunn's River Falls, do yourself a favor and book with Your Jamaican Tour Guide! We left early in the morning to beat the crowds, and it was the best decision ever. Climbing the falls was an amazing experience—surrounded by all that natural beauty, it was unreal. Marc took care of the entrance fee, so we didn’t have to worry about that. The car was super clean and comfortable, which made the drive (it’s a bit of a trek) really enjoyable. Plus, Marc was awesome to chat with—great stories about Jamaica. On the way back, we stopped at Scotchies for some jerk chicken and a cold Red Stripe, the perfect way to end the trip. Overall, it was a great day, and Marc made it so easy and stress-free. I highly recommend it!

The view was amazing at the Ricks Cafe.I also enjoyed looking at the people jump off the cliff into the ocean. We had dinner and a few drinks while enjoying the live music and watching the beautiful sunset. Our tour guy Charles was amazing, easy to communicate with he explained the entire tour and taught us a lot about Jamaica. Thank you Charles we will be back.

We want to mystic mountain with my son and his friends and Charles made it amazing. The drive to the location was comfortable and engaging. This kids enjoyed mystic and we we able to stop long the way

Whenever we travel we always do some type of food tour. One of our friends recommended Alrick Allen because they did a taste tour with him a few years ago, and they said it was the highlight of their trip. So we didn't hesitate to book a tour with him, which was also our trip's highlight! We are both very open to trying new things and tried everything Alrick gave us! He has a real passion for what he does. We didn't just eat food; he also gave us stories to go along with it, and we learned so much about Jamaican culture when it comes to food. Myself and five of my girlfriends did the Secret Falls tour with Marc. We left early in the morning, so we beat the crowds. We picked secret falls because we wanted a more natural experience and it was exactly what we wanted. Our guide at the falls was kemar and he was great taking us up the falls and he even took pictures for us (make sure to bring cash to tip your guide). Then we stopped on the way back at Scotchies for some jerk chicken, it was soooo good! Thanks again, we will be back!
