- KristiReading2300 contributionsAwesome Trip!We had a wonderful afternoon on the Martha Brae with our tour guide Frank. It was a blast. I definitely recommend this tour. We did it as an excursion with Royal Caribbean and it didn't disappoint. We saw wildlife including lots of different birds and cranes, a Cow and her baby, lots of neat flowers and it was just a really nice tour. There were very hard rains the day prior to our tour, so the river was a little mucky, but it was still amazing!Written 23 November 2024

- Jb4y0 contributionsAmazing view and fun rideMy husband, daughter and I did this excursion when we visited Ocho Rios, Jamaica on August 27, 2024. We purchased our excursion through Carnival. When we came off the cruise ship a tour rep was waiting outside, he greeted us and placed wristbands on our wrist then put us on the bus. The bus ride to Mystic Mountain took 5 minutes. When we arrived, a lady at the entrance greeted us and directed us to the sky explorer lift (chair lift) The guys made sure were secured in the chair lift. The lift took 25 minutes to get to the top of the mountain. The view on the way up (700 feet) was so amazing. On the left side was the view of the north shore and on the right was the view of the rainforest. When we got to the top of the mountain a nice lady greeted us, checked our wristbands and directed us to the bobsled. We also rented a locker for $6. The locker was big enough to store our beach bag and back pack. The bobsled ride was so much fun, they can go really fast. We only wished that the ride was longer or that we could have gone twice on the bobsled. Local food, burgers and drinks were available for purchase. We had access to the infinity edge pool and the water slide. Overall this excursion was fun and worth it. We would definitely do the bobsled again and recommend it to family and friends.Written 1 October 2024

- E7734TVdominiquem0 contributions100/10I had a great time. Not only was this excursion entertaining but informative. I highly recommend this tour to ppl that handle a few jump scares. If not, the regular day tour will suffice. Me and my partner had a really good experience, the tour was about an hour long and it was just the two of us plus the tour guide which made it even more creepy but personable. We learned about the precious owners of the plantation and the houses history- such a great time. I have recommended this tour to most of my family members and I will definitely be back for a second tour. This time I won't be so scared since I'll know what's coming. The gift shop is so cute and the staff are so kind!Written 27 September 2024
- Venture628851129410 contributionsFun, but was ruined by additional costs.Although the activities themselves were good, the communication was awful and to be fair there are a few points that tarnished the trip. Firstly they don't tell you that you need $20 US for lockers, as you can't take backpacks or stuff on the activities. Also on each activity you have different guides and in total there were 16 guides, all who want tips. I know they are sort of optional, but it is a bit in your face. Also at lunch you are only offered tap water free with your meal, anything else you have to pay for. Not what I expect when paying $488 dollars for the both of us. The ATVs in my opinion aren't very well maintained and several of them had insufficient brakes. Overall fun, but could be better. The communication of what we were doing, what we needed to wear and when was lacking.Written 27 September 2024
- trvlnut210 contributionsBeware the White WitchOMG is about all you can say! My wife and I and our friends were staying at Sandals, this was a “must do” as far ad I was concerned. We did tour, got to the dungeon where we go to partake in the witches brew cocktail. Had a ball. Bought the photo. Great timeWritten 20 September 2024
- gerald w0 contributionsexcellentI found the start very friendly and knowledgeable, especially our tour guide. donette was excellent and very helpful. - 856lazaram0 contributionsTranquil experienceVery serene and tranquil ride along the river. Really enjoyable experience. It was fairly quiet and our captains didn't give any added commentary but they were pleasant and it was a pleasure to watch their rafting skills. I'd recommend.Written 8 August 2024
- davidbL9786IR0 contributionsSky high zip liningTruly remarkable experience with Lennie and Smiley who looked after us on the tour safely. Well worth the entrance fee with some sky high views of the fallsWritten 19 July 2024
- Balham10660 contributionsReally Informative - Worth A VisitShould you visit Jamaica it’s worth visiting Appleton Rum Estate. Very informative. Beautiful Grounds. Great to able to do the Rum Tasting & to know how the Rum is made. Please note:- Subject to where you are travelling from, the drive from Falmouth took my family & I a painstaking, almost 4 hours …… 😫 Estate opens from Tuesdays 9.00am to 3.30pm So, set off early!!!! Our guide-tour was good, interactive & funny 😃 Price:- £28.00 English Pounds, per person. I was disappointed to be informed, that Jamaica no longer owns Wray & Nephew/Appleton Rum. I will not say any more than that; you will find out yourself, when you visit. If you are a Jamaican resident entry fee is less, residence ID is required. Overall a good family day out.Written 13 July 2024

The falls are neat but the the garden tour was pretty boring kind of a lot of waiting around. Little pushy for tips and selling all there things But I guess that’s expected. If I were to do it again I’d just get a ticket for $20 and tour the falls myself and get my own transportation.

The Misses & I took the tour & it was so enjoyable. Got to climb the falls, which was a great experience. Our tour guide Tallie & the Water Falls Guides were so awesome. She was so knowledgeable of all the plants & animals. The beauty of the Falls & Botanical Garden was equaled by the lil museum. Tallie sang a very touching song to compliment the history of Jamaica. It is defiantly a must do if in Ocho Rios!

This was great from beginning to end. I am 62 and climbed the falls. You do have a choice to walk a trail up if you would like. The guides were very attentive and helpful. They made things fun as you were climbing. I did duck into the cave, the only female, and only 3 men of about 25 people who did it. Afterwards we went on a nature walk learning about native plants, then there was a small historical place where some of the history of Jamacia was told. Very interesting! One very small store, if you want to buy a souvenir, not pushy. At the end there was a small outside bar, with food, if you wanted. I would recommend this to everyone, and do it again, if I go back to Jamacia.

We weren't sure we could get up the falls, but the grio is better than you expect, there are some footholds cut at strategic places, and most importantly, our guide Kenroy helped us any time we needed. Naldi was our guide on the trail and he knows a lot.

We have visited Ocho many times and have visited every attraction in the area - Konoko is, by far, our new favorite. It’s better and must less crowded than Dunns with much more to see and experience (the animals are amazing!) with more attentive guides.we BSCI ally had the gardens and falls to ourselves, and took all the time we wanted! The gardens, animals, and falls are worth every minute and every penny.
April and Kenroy were wonderful guides! If you see Kenroy, please tell him thank you from his Minnesota friends. My son hurt himself at the falls (his fault, not the falls which are very safe) but Kenroy was EXTREMELY attentive, caring, and patient. He got a nurse and stayed with us all the way through our departure. Any other guide would have rushed to be a guide for the next family once we got to the nurse, but not Kenroy. His caring and attentiveness were so greatly appreciated, we were completely impressed. We are grateful and can’t wait to return!

A mini Dunns river fall, but very educationally with lots of history, Konoko fall is a hidden gem. Not only you'll get to claim the falls , which is about half the size of the famous Dunns river falls, they also have between the falls there's a little spot that was frequently visited by the Late Reggae Superstar(Icon)and legendary Bob Marley, there you can feel his spirit (Bob). Then there's a mini zoo, which house alligators, birds, and other wildlife etc....the different herbs of the land, fresh spring water and breathe taking view of the city of ocho rios. Cost is $20 USD for adult which includes a curator and guide up the falls. If you stay at the Jewel Paradise Cove Runaway Bay resort, then your visit to Konoko falls is complimentary and it comes with free shuttle service to and from the falls.
Konoko falls is MUST.

I visited yesterday with my coworkers. The tour of the garden was engaging and beautiful. Thanks to the lifeguard Jevonne, who had awesome people skills and was very patient as he assisted us with climbing the falls. Will definitely be visiting again!

I visited last week. At first I had some complications but it all changed the moment I met the lady at check in. She was so helpful and genuine. It got even better after meeting the tour guide, she explained a lot of things to us and we got to visit the museum, quite interesting.
I must say thanks to the security Montell Dean, we appreciate the kind gestures. The lifeguard Jevonne took care of us, he helped us step by step up the falls and ensured we had a good time. He was very patient, humorous and polite.
Really a memorable experience. There is also good available for purchase and the view from the top is breathtaking. 😁🤗 I don't regret going.

Our family really enjoyed our tour of the beautiful gardens, but most of all the thrill and the absolute beauty of the falls! Our tour guide was Francesca, ask for her, she's great!
Also, there are several guys who were wonderful with helping us up the falls in areas we would not be able to navigate on our own! Such a wonderful day!
