      They lie through their teeth!
This tour was sold as a taxi to their facility, Segway training, Segway tour, and then end at the beach. It ended up a taxi to the beach first, which I was not prepared for dress-wise, then we where taxied to their facility, taught the Segway, then waited for a bus for a local tour (this was not in the description), then back to their place and 30 minutes on a Segway. They advertise a Segway tour and we sat around for 3-5 hours for a 30 minute Segway tour. What a waste of time and money!! Don’t believe a word they say.

      Good Bye Trip Advisor Tours
The tour left without us due to 2 unfortunate circumstances. First after receiving 4 very similar reminder messages saying the departure time was 11 AM, a 5th message changed the time to 10:30, and I missed that detail. Nonetheless we were in the pick-up plaza 15 minutes before the new pick up time, but not at the exact pick up location, which had no seating. When we went to the pick up location at 10:50 and did not see the tour by 11:12, we started trying to call the tour company or Trip Advisor to find out why there was no tour pickup. It took 5 frustrated call/email attempts and about 15 minutes to actually reach a human. We were told the tour had left and we would be contacted about a refund. Two refund requests were refused and no specific details or concerned explanation was given. The failure to note the new pick up time was my fault, but what is inexcusable is that there seemed to be no effort to contact me by phone or email when we were not at the pick-up location. Why are customers required to give contact information if no contact is attempted by the tour company? We were in a location that was literally 1-2 minutes away from the pick up location, and if the company had made any effort to reach us we would not have thrown away $190. I will never forget this experience. Has Trip Advisor gotten too big to manage its affairs and its provider with a customer service focus?

      Staff were amazing!
Went on the P&O excursion ‘Lime like a Lucian’ and were hosted by Shaun. Staff were amazing - attentive and entertaining, they made sure we all had the best night and made it back to the ship in one piece!

Segway fun with Thomas and Murphy!
Our family had the pleasure of a fun filled afternoon Segway ride with Thomas and Murphy. They gave us an opportunity to learn how to use the Segway safely before taking us to see parts of beautiful St. Lucia. They always made sure we were comfortable and safe. The island is beautiful. Thomas and Murphy also gave us some history about St. Lucia. Definitely recommend these amazing guides!!!

      Good, but not as advertised
This is a tricky review, because I did enjoy the hour we spent on the segways. The difficulty is it wasn't really anything like the description of the two hour nature tour. I think I understand what happened, but that's based on what I put together, nobody actually told us why things weren't quite as advertised. We had a pickup from our hotel as part of the booking. The pickup was scheduled for 10.40 though this was significantly delayed - the bus had to go to pick up from the cruise port and was delayed in heavy traffic. That means we arrived at the base (and the segways) an hour later than advertised. I'm guessing that means there wasn't the time to run the full off-road excursion through the nature trail for the two hours and return people in time for their departure or the next bookings. In any event, the nature trail wasn't on the cards and the two hours turned into one and a fun zoom around the Rodney Bay marina area. It's not really on to shorten the activity without notice or the alternative to rebook/refund or part-refund because the traffic was bad, even if the remaining hour is good fun. The tour description mentioned fruit and beverages. The fruit stop wasn't on the tour so they were swapped for some plantain chips. There was a beverage, but it wasn't provided we bought it at spinakers and again at the venues bar. Training was given but how much you got depended on where you were in the queue so the first got most, the last got about 90 seconds. The guides were friendly enough but had less to say on an improvised route than would otherwise have been the case. The segways were still great fun though an on road experience is a different beast to the off road. Had it been an organised excursion on a cruise I would probably have been asking for a refund as what was offered was very different from what was delivered. I haven't done that for a small business offering some fun experiences. However, better communication and an explanation as to the difference, or offer to rebook would have been a better solution to a difficult traffic day.

      Adventure Time
We signed up for the Mt. Pimard Hike, and it was quite the adventure. Nothing we could’ve ever imagined. You’re in for a treat especially if you’re lucky enough to have the experienced and entertaining CJ as your guide! Be prepared to work, don’t bring shoes you love, and hope that it’s not a rainy day.

      Excellent tour for the adventurous!
My husband and I took this tour after booking with Sandals. Brad, our tour guide, was amazing. Friendly, and professional, he had clear communication and expectations for keeping us safe while having fun. We rode on the left side of the road - a first for us but Brad was very clear in directing us as well as managing the other traffic. We rode through curves and hills and finished at Pigeon Island - a must see and Saint Lucia’s national monument. There is a driving test at the beginning to demonstrate that you can handle the scooter. Not everyone passes so be prepared to ride with a guide if you lack confidence and/or minimum skill levels. In all I would highly recommend this tour if you’re adventurous and have some skill with scooters or electric bikes. It was very fun and lots of beautiful scenery.

Great Quicker Hike with Good Views
My wife and I went on this hike on our honeymoon. Our guide Thomas was very knowledgable and provided a great experience on our hike. The hike was short but challenging especially in the 90 degree humid heat. The pickup and drop off process was also very smooth at the resort.

      Fun motor scooter outing !
Bryan & Germaine were excellent tour guides. Friendly, professional, safety-minded, knowledgeable, and FUN!! Our group of 3 couples had a great time motoring around the northwest side of the island, touring up in to the hills and catching some amazing views. We stopped a few different times for breaks and historical insights, and the last break at the beach near Pigeon Island, to take photos and grab some refreshments if you wanted. Overall, great tour company to take excursion with. And Chris our shuttle driver was friendly and helpful as well. We were picked up/returned at our Sandals lobby. Thanks for a fun outing!!

      A Great Experience
This hike is amazing. It is not a long hike, but some parts up to the top of Mt. Pimard were challenging. Make sure to wear supportive shoes and bring water. You will be sweating a lot. Getting to the top involved five areas that required you to use a rope to pull yourself up. The views were beautiful. Our guide, Keyz, was terrific. He was so knowledgeable of the trail, the route up to the top, the history of the island, and he made this hike a memorable experience. So glad we chose this excursion and that we met Keyz.

      Fun but strenuous hike
We booked this tour through shore excursions (who used Lucian Styles) since I was apparently too old to go on the ship's tour! Our guide was CJ, and he was great. My husband and I were the only two on the tour, and they still didn't cancel it. We saw some cool WWII bunkers and rain forest scenery. There was a pool with fresh water tilapia that would nibble on your feet as you sat there. That was fun! I can't lie, it was a tough hike. It seems that a lot of Caribbean rain forest hikes require you to pull yourself up with branches or tree roots, so it was pretty steep. I heard that you had to pull yourself up with ropes, and I envisioned it as kind of a handrail/safety thing. Nope, it was slick rock surfaces and your arms did all the work pulling yourself up. There were four stretches like that. The good news was that CJ was there, guiding us for every step and every handhold, offering a hand when needed. It took about an hour and there was a great view from the top. Unfortunately, it started raining at the top and rained the whole way down. I guess that's why they call it a rain forest. Definitely a memorable hike and we're glad we did it. Thanks again, CJ!

Highly recommend - Jermaine was a great guide
Jermaine was our guide for the Segway tour and he was brilliant throughout, giving us information, photo opportunities and making it a fun experience overall. We were lucky enough to be the only two on that tour which made it even better.

Challenging hike, but well worth it
The hike was challenging and very fun. My wife and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and wanted to do something active, versus sitting on the beach. The hike definitely got us moving. The hike starts out easy, but then becomes a steep climb through trees and rocks. We had to climb up a series of boulders using 5 ropes! Thomas our guide was the best! He was very encouraging and lots of fun. He gave us a history of the island and his joyful personality kept us moving (with a few breaks mixed in). The views from the top were incredible.

      Great Mt Hike
The hike was amazing. Hike started with nice easy climb up and then bordered on intermediate level as you climb up. Beautiful views from the top. Our guide, Thomas, was the best guide we have ever had. He had a plethora of knowledge about the history of the island and about local plants and animals. The only reason we gave five stars was because we couldn't give more.

Jeanaii was a phenomenal tour guide for this electric scooter tour of Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, and the Cricket stadium. We had no experience riding these electric bikes prior to this tour. My wife was a little nervous to start the tour, but they give you a chance to get familiar with the scooter in the parking lot prior to taking off. The tour is about 80% back roads and 20% main roads towards the end. We also had Chris guiding in the back. You stop for a quick lunch/pit stop around the Sandals Grande at the north of the island. Highly recommend this for a ~2.5 hour super fun tour of Saint Lucia.

Brad and Bryan gave us a great tour of the villages around Rodney Bay. On our return we stopped in Gros Islet for refreshments. The e-scooters were well maintained and safe to ride. Our guides were very friendly, patient and professional. The road traffic was courteous and not too busy for the most part. It seems they’re used to the escooter tours and give you right of way on most occasions.
I would recommend this excursion if you like exploring island culture and don’t mind riding a bike on local roads.

This was a different and fun way to see parts of the island. The tour guide, Brad, was awesome at knowing the history and answering all our questions along with taking care of us while riding the scooters. I would highly recommend jumping on a scooter to see more of this beautiful island.

We booked this tour through our resort. In the title it said extremely easy to ride, back roads, beaches. It was very misleading, thus they have you practice in a yard before going on the road. The scooters are very difficult to turn and the throttle is very touchy, you accelerate so fast there is no way to slowly increase your speed. Several of the guys even had trouble adjusting and were crashing in the yard. (Some even have experience with motorcycles). We had 4 guys and 4 girls in our group. The last 2 ladies in the group could not get the hang of it so they rode on the back of their husbands scooters.
I was apprehensive but kept practicing in the yard. I knew I need to take the turns very slowly.
So off we go, we were on the main roads, lots of traffic. When you get to intersections you are being told to hurry, hurry, hurry so cars don’t cut through. As I came to an intersection where we were making a turn, the guide from the back came up to block traffic and was yelling for us to hurry. I gave too much throttle and couldn’t make the turn went into on coming traffic and T-bones a truck. My injuries are not as severe as they could have been. I thank God for his provision!
I wanted to write this review to make others aware that it is not as easy as it is portrayed to be. If you give it a try, practice in the yard and if you don’t feel 100% confident, ride with someone else or a guide. It is very dangerous and you are mainly on high traffic roads and no beach. Well you see it but don’t drive on it. 4 wheels for me from now on!

We did this tour today with Brad and Jeanaii - had a great time! Heads up these are big scooters - I am a 5’6” woman and wasn’t comfortable riding my own so I rode as a passenger with my husband. You’re on main streets with traffic so it’s a little much if you don’t have experience. BUT…it was a great adventure and we got to see local neighborhoods and ended at a local beach hangout with some cold refreshments which really hit the spot!

The ad for this excursion was very misleading. The scooters are not really that easy and took a while to adjust to, the throttle was touchy and it was pretty hard to turn. You need to be 100% confident to ride them, especially on the main roads and curvy back roads. Other than the minor adjustment, our tour was relatively nice. Our guide, Brad, showed us gorgeous views, and it was nice to learn about the island's history and culture.

We had so much fun on the Gros Islet Electric Scooter Tour! Jeanaii was an excellent guide. He was patient and allowed us to practice using the scooters before beginning the tour so that we felt more comfortable on the tour. The tour consists of mainly back roads, but we stopped at many cool locations. Jeanaii was very knowledgeable and shared a lot about the history of the island. One of the coolest places that we stopped was the cricket pitch. We also stopped in town to grab a drink before heading back. We highly recommend this tour if you're in St. Lucia!
    Thank you Jeanaii!

Jim and I wanted to mention and give recognition to the staff who attended to us on March 6, 2022. This adventure tour was facilitated by IRideCaribbean. First, to Leah our admission attendant. Thanks for your hospitality and kindness while attending to us.

Two thumbs up to Brad for carefully and patiently providing us with the details necessary for the Electric Scooter Tour. So much so, that I 'chickened' out last minute and decided to ride with the other tour guide, Jeanaii. I drive all the time but honestly, I have not not ridden a bike in ages. So, Brad it's not a reflection on you. I'm just not a big risk taker.

To my riding partner Jeanaii. Thanks for safe journey and wonderful conversation. I learned about you, your family and the island you have called home your entire life. It was an honor to have you as my riding buddie. I felt that this opportunity provided me the best of both world. You did all the riding, I enjoyed the view and we engage in great conversation.
Jim and I really enjoy our time and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Excellent choice. We rented a tour on electric scooters. Another couple went with us. Our guide made a line of five, zipping around the north end of St. Lucia. We checked out some cool sites, went to the beach, had snacks and a beverage. It was a wonderful 2 1/2 hours. They took great care to make sure we understood Safety and did a short maneuverability test with us before we ever hit traffic. Safe and confident. It was lots of fun.
